Joe is a troubled, confused one. Okay, so maybe a little more confused than sort of troubled. He dosen't really know why he's there and what's the reason. |

He is much of a pessimist. Sounds like me. Anyways, he always seems to be doom-crying or looking at the negative stuff in life. You won't hear him say much of anything positive, but we don't know how he got the attitude... |

He is very nervous and is easily frightened. He was freaked out when he first saw Bukamon. He admits he's the home kinda person. He dosen't like adventure and anything freaky or scary vibes makes him really nervous. |

Joe also is a great student. Although we do not see his father during the show, we do know through his brother that his fate was already determinded. |
|

Shin seems to be a little eased than Joe. I think Joe is pretty much pressured by people around of what is expected of him. He obviously feels that his crest reveals that he always does what other people ask him to do with no sort of question, and this makes him feel a bit annoyed. |

His moments of bravery are really cool. He's always there when u need a friend. When Takeru couldn't swin, he gave a raft to Takeru to support, but then again, he forgot that HE didn't know how to swim! Oh well...and when Sora was locked in her own dark bubble of doubt, he was there to help her get out of it! |

Three years later, he is still a smart and good student. He is now more mature and less "doom crying" although he still has the really good quotes. He still brings things over to the digiworld, not to mention better things, just in case. He has more experience now and is able to help the younger digidestineds. |

|
Overall, I like Joe. He's an interesting character which is sorta cool to look into. He may be a little darker and negative than the other digidestineds, but he's there when he's needed to be. |
