Corvallis, Oregon
I spent my undergraduate studies at Oregon State University in hopes to become a pharmacist.  Don't ask me where I would like to practice.  The first thing that I need to accomplish would be surviving school.  I have already completed my Bachelor's of Science and am currently attending the pharmacy school at Oregon State.

If everything goes as planned I should be done with all higher education by 2006 and would be able to sit for the boards in June/July of 2006.
For those who have visited this site before July 2004, I know that you would know that I had a bunch of pictures from my undergraduate days.  Sorry to disappoint you if you grew accustomed to checking out the pictures.  It was time to update my site and remove those pictures to alleviate the memory that I have used.

Pharmacy School at
Oregon State University
For those you want more insight in applying to Oregon State University's College of Pharmacy.  A little bit of my experiences so far in the program.

It's not an easy program to go through.  From what I know as a student, OSU's College of Pharmacy  accepts about 80 students.  Don't know the real statistics but from what I heard about for the entering class of students for Fall of 2004, about 1000 students have applied to the program. Compare that to the 400 students that applied for the starting term that I applied for in 2002. So far I have completed two years of the four years in the Doctor of Pharmacy program.  The first two years are held at the Corvallis campus, the third year is at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, and the final fourth year is allocated for clerkships, which may be completed just about anywhere in the world (with emphasis on setting up the rotation sites with the school, etc.)

I made the move to Portland and am trying to familiarize myself with this city.  Corvallis and Portland are very different and one has to come accustom to the pace of both cities.  Personally, it was very hard for me to let go and move to Portland because I grew use to Corvallis.  I had spent the past 5 years of my academic life there and learned my way around the town.  One thing that I would not miss is the two hour drive to get to Corvallis  after getting off a 5 hour flight from Honolulu International Airport to Portland International Airport.
