A first class bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering affirmed by a post graduate diploma in Business Management and solid automotive marketing experience with a leading UV/SUV/LT manufacturer and a leading pneumatic tire manufacturer, brought me to North America impromptu. Presently assigned as a Business Development Executive with an industrial product organization, I handle sales and marketing basically with some interfacing activities in purchasing, finance, logistics and production. Management is reasonably nice and I report to the President. To respectfully follow, "improvement is an ongoing activity", I have been visiting a University in Toronto pursuing a curriculum to upgrade (or localize?) my skills. Occasionally appear at job interviews I have some reservations as well. Thus, the present employer has been able to utilize my services for a longer period of time than they perhaps expected originally. |

Photography (still and video), literature, music (eastern light/classical and western light & instrumental), riding motorcycle (not as a pillion-rider though) and driving car without being too cautious are of prime interest to me. My mother lives in New Alipore (Calcutta) in India. Wife, two children and pet dog left India in December 2000 to flock around. We prefer to speak in our mother tongue amongst us at home. She works as a Travel Consultant and two of them are students, doing really great � making us proud in fact. Snowy is the name of the pet dog. You are welcome to accost the friendly him and he does not bite too hard. |
