Power Stone
Okay, where to start.
This is rather obviously about the anime series not the Capcom game's. The series is set around the first game so it has a few limitations to start off with.
The plot is basic at best, Fokker gets roped into searching the world for the meaning behind the power stone's by his father, he meets and befriends most of the other characters from the game along the way.
Slightly uninspiring as is the animation, it lives up to the game in the respect that it is very cartoony, but there is a good amount of repeat animation and you get the feeling that some of the characters could have used a little extra detail. The characters are all true to their origins from the game although I'm not sure where Ayame's crush on Fokker came from, but there you go.
Despite these flaws it isn't actually that bad a show(as long as you are watching the original Japanese version). The jokes are quite funny, at least the charcters are consistent and the cartoony feel helps to balance out the serious battles, making it quite fun to watch.
On a different note the American Dub is dreadful, the voices don't sound right, it tends to turn into a spaghetti western during the battles, and most of the jokes are lost amongst the Americanism's they cram in.
It's a fun series there are better ones out there, but there are also far worse, just make sure you find a subbed or raw version the american one isn't worth it.
