One word to describe this show would be, insane. From the first two minutes of episode 1 you realise that any chance of sanity has been blown up, burned, and buried. The show revolves around the 3 members of the Holy Student council, who have been organised by their Principle to keep the school spirits under check. The fact that he is one of the school spirits is news to the president of the council, but not the other two. Haruto, being the son of a christian minister and president of the council, just wants a normal life away from the spirits and demons. Virtually on the brink of a heart attack in most episodes and constantly crying "OH MY GOD" whenever his world is shattered, is quite amusing. The spirits are a strange bunch too; Red Mantle a handsome young man who makes any girl that sets eyes on him lovesick (and some guys later in the series), Hanako an extremely well built girl, who tries to get the attention of Haruto, and Haruo Sato and Bones Suzuki, the comic double act of the spirits useless in every way. This series isn't for the easily offended as there are a lot of things that are perfectly alright to view in Japan, but nearly everywhere else has some sort of mad committee waiting to pounce on it and ban it. One, it pokes fun at 3 of the major religions, and two, it has fun with some of the characters sexual orientations, nothing vulgar or explicit, but suggestive and amusing none the less.
