How to describe this show, how, how , how. Oh I know, Insane and Kawaii.
An anime series by a store for otaku, I think all chances of sanity were safely killed before they got in the door. The sheer kawaii level of this show is enough to damage the average persons eyesight, and the soundtrack isn't much better on the ears.
This may sound like a bad thing, but the show is so funny you can't help but fall for it's twisted charms. The animatin is suitably low budget, although it got better with the specials, it retained the simplicity that suited the shorts so well.
Dejiko, Puchiko, and Gemma land on earth. Dejiko wants to become an Idol. They stumble across a Gamers store where the owner offers them a room, if they will work in the store. Usada arrives and announces herself as Dejiko's rival and also starts working at Gamers. From here things get even more pointless and strange to put it mildly.
The sense of humour is a bit warped and will not appeal to everyone, same goes for the kawaii animation, it may well put a few people off as the colours make them run for the nearest bathroom. It's a definate change of pace (hyper insanity's a new one to me) and if you like your shows excessively cute then give it a go.
