| The Pictures... I posted the new pictures in the Pictures section like I said I would. there are three new pictures, all from Halo 2. Please have a look at them and remember, if you have a picture that you think is worth being on Echo 136, feel free to click the submit it to me by clicking the Submit Pictures button on the left side bar under Admin. Posted at 22:02 PST (1:03 EST) Some New Stuff... I have been trying to update Echo 136 a little bit here and there to help get ready for when I buy the domain name for it. As i am sure you know, it will be www.echo136.com as it is still free for me to get and it seems the most fitting for the site. but now let's talk about improvements. First, I have changed the links saying "This Week" and "Past Weeks" which are on the right side bar under the updates section to, "Today's News" and "News Archive" I have also added two new pictures to the July Archive and the August Archive to spice things up a bit there. Lastly, I have gotten a few new pictures that I will soon be adding to the Pictures section for you to feast your eyes on. You can check back later today to see them as I will be posting them as soon as I get the chance. Posted at 2:12 PST (5:12 EST) Yesterday's Update Today... Yesterday... After waking up at around 8:50, I went downstairs and ate a bagel for breakfast. Naomi (My sister), Margaret (the Mother at the housee I am at), and Hannah (Margaret's daughter) went out to Home Depot where they bought some paint for Hannah's bedroom. while they were gone, I took Hanna's twin brothers, Nathan and Daniel over to the neighborhood pool. we stayed there from 9:30 until 11:10. They really had a lot of fun and we play to go again this morning. When we got back to their house, Margaret asked me if I would wash one of their cars which I did in about an hour and a half. While I washed the car and when I wasn't using the hose, the boys had a lot of fun spraying each other with it. After washing the car, I came inside, ate lunch and got ready to go spearfishing with Howard (Margaret's Husband). He had me put on a rsh gaurd (very nice) to help keep me warm since he didn't have a wetsuit that would fit me. when we fianlly got to the beach,we were dissapointed to find that the water was quite choppy. We stayed out in the water for about 40 minutes during which, I saw a number of small fish (less that 6" long). On our way back to the house, we stopped at Ruby's Diner and got ourselves each a milkshake. I had a Black cherry Milkshake which had a lot of fruit in it and was excellant! When we got home, I sat around until thirty minutes later, Naomi, Margaret, and I went to the local library. We got out The Last Samurai which was on a one day loan with a one dollar fee to take out. When we got home, we talked for a while and I watched some of Lion King 1 1/2with the kids before supper. For supper, Howard grilled barbequed chicken that we ate with green beans and rice. After supper, (which we finished at about 20:20) the kids finished their movie and got ready for bed. Shortly afterwards, they went to bed and Howard and I went out to go see a 22:10 showing of AVP (Alien vs. Predator). We arrived back at home about five minutes before midnight and I got ready for bed, Posted my opinion of AVP on the forums, and answered some other posts by other people then posted the update.
