| Load is Metallica's 6th release. After a five year hiatus, Metallica returned with a new album, and a new look. Prior to the release, the band cut their hair. This album and Re-load were recorded at the same time. ("No Leaf Clover" and "- Human" on S&M were written at the same time) This album has it's good qualities and it's bad. The good is that the quality of the music is a vast improvement from the first couple of albums, the bad is not all of the songs are that good. This is a good album, and all Metallica fans should own it, but non-fans may not enjoy it at all. |
