Kilimanjaro - 19,341 ft
Kilimanjaro is located just outside of Moshi, Tanzania, in East Africa, roughly 40 miles south of the Kenyan boarder. The mountain boasts 5 major ecological zones, including thick rainforest, high alpine desert, and the summit zone. Many glaciers still remain on the mountain, although it is said that most will be gone in 20 years. I'm here with Alaska Mountain Guides International until October, when I head back to the states. Most of my trips will climb the mountain in 7 days. Below are some of the pics from the latest trip.......enjoy!
