Jeanette's Trip to Oregon

Jeanette, Ray and their whole family came to Oregon in June. This was Ray's first time being in Oregon, as a matter of fact I think it is his first time ever leaving Texas. It was also his first time being on a plane. Boy is that scary. The whole time they were here they stayed at my mom's house, which if you don't know is a zoo because of all the kids and then you throw Jeanette's kids in the mix. I'm sure that Ray was not expecting to spend his vacation this way. So I tried to alleviate his stress by inviting him out dancing. While they were here my brother Chris got married. So instead of the traditional bachelors party I threw a bachelor and bachelorette party. We went to a dance club in downtown Portland called "Up Front". It is a 18 and older dance club, we could have went to a 21 and older club but Chris and Jessica weren't old enough.

We also went down to the Rose Festival and let Jeannae and Dominic ride the kiddy rides. This was a lot of fun even though we didn't get to ride any ourselves. Sometimes it is more fun to watch kids have fun. Dominic was a little scared to get on a couple rides at first, but after awhile he didn't care.
