Dear
brother and sisters,
When
you recieve this newsletter I am in South Africa to do my outreach. After 3 days of traveling
we arrive in Cape Town. We do not have a planning because we think that God will do His
plan in our group, just as we trusted Him to get us a housing. One week before we had to
leave we heard we have 2 flats in the centre of Cape Town with enough space to invite
people to tell about His love and hopefully disciple them with Bible study.
God
is good and does a lot this moment. I think I might do a School of Biblical Studies -SBS-
next Fall again in Montana. I have a feeling He will open the doors because I got a lot of
peace about it.
The
last couple of weeks we followed the topics: Evangelism; Bible study; Motivation for Missions;
Prayer and Spiritual Warfare.The things I hope to use in what our Father wants to use me
for. The worst part of it is: I get to smart. In the Bible you can find everything and
what you learnt with your study you can build it and discuss about it. But the most
important thing is that I am gonna know Who
God is. Through chewing on His Word and to chew it over again, you learn more about His
character and what He wants with your life.
God
created the human being to spread His love and I hope that I can bring His love and that
He will be my lips when I spread the Word. You feel His love floating and His wisdom is
being revealed to me. Not that I will ever be
as wise as Him, but I notice that I deal different with my reactions towards people than before. This is because of His
love in me.
I
see now that I first grew in the His greatness and that He used that, but here I can grow into
His depth in all peace. This is very intimate and personal. Even if I walk sometimes
through the fire, I still feel His love.I also have a great witness to tell to you. My
former employer publicized an article about why I am in Montana. This magazine is read by
about 400 people. I praise the Lord for the way He works through me.
Prayer
points
-
that God prepares the hearts of people, who we're gonna meet in Cape Town;
-
that God keeps the unity in our group so that we can be a living witness for Him;
-
that we can be humble in His presence to spread His work;
-
that God works out His plan in me.
It
is difficult to send everybody a Christmas card, but I realize that it is not possible. I
will think about all of you on this day and that isn't gonna be easy for me. By this I want to wish everybody a merry Christmas
and a happy step into the new millenium.
I
do not see you as supporters but as partners, because we are equal in Him. YOU ARE
MY PARTNERS.
God's
blessing to everybody
Joshua
servant
of our Lord Jesus
