Newsletter Jos dated october 20th 1999.

Dear brothers and sisters,

It is already a long time ago before you heard something of me, but here is some news from Lakeside - Montana. My leaving to States started pretty well. In the airplane I witness en because I changed my flight I received an extra plane ticket, which brought me to my destination. Because of a thunderstorm the plane had a delay so I misted my connection to Seattle and the airplane company offered me a free hotel night.

The first week in Montana was orientation and acclimatization, but Father started to change my life. Our theme is: Matthew 18:3-4: And He said: I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven.Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Every body knows that feelings are a difficult point to explain and to tell, but let me try it. After a lesson about hearing Gods voice, they asked us to ask God who we are for Him. After about 20 minutes God asked me to walk to the middle of the soccer field. There I heard His Voice telling me: 'You are My center. This was really deep and intense that I spontaneous started to cry of happiness, because you understand that He loves me deeply. In the Sunday service I experience something strange as well. When we started to praise and worship I started to cry and I finished at the end of the praise and worship. I still do not know why but I know Father is starting to set me free. 

The second week they taught us about relationships. The essence  was that God created us to praise and worship Him but He also created us for each other. The command: " love one another - John 13:34 - has a deeper impact on my life. Mine own I is not there anymore, but still is. It is to put your life down on the cross. Even if I had down this before, this time I did this with 100% with my heart. Because of this deeper feeling started to release, and sometimes it is hard to deal with them. An example is to ask forgiveness to people who hurt you. For one person an easy step, but for another person a very big step. It also means to put down my own pride and be and stay humble. Forgiveness is a great step, but if you really want to pray effective you must pray with the Spirit of the Fatherheart and that isn't possible if there is bitterness in your heart. It isn't always nice what you see in your heart or think that the most of it is disappeared, but He is definitely changing me. 

The third week we talk about the Fatherheart of God. They taught us that the kindness of God brings us to repentance of sins.In this week our theme showed up. That we are children in the eyes of God. I don't mean childish. With children of God they mean:

	- Teachable;
	- Honesty;
	- Humble.

If we look to (our) children, than we see the glory of God. In this you also see that we can be ourselves and we don't have to play a role. God sees our heart and that is important for Him.

The last week we discuss the doctrines of the Bible. From history till now. This was very interesting. We also discuss who God is; who Jesus is; what sin is and what salvation is. Perhaps you ask why discuss this, but let me explain: if we have the wrong God in our mind, than we have the wrong Jesus and therefor we have also the wrong salvation. Therefor it is very important to know this. What touched my heart what is told in Gen. 2:7. God created everything; the heaven and earth, the trees and the flowers, the animals etc., but He came to earth to breathed His breath of life into the man. I still can not imagine that our God is so so enormously great, to come down to breathe His breath of life in us. Every time if I think about this, than I understand that He loves us so deeply and that He wants to have a relationship wants with us. Because of those doctrines the Bible is more and more the living Word for me. Also we discuss or teach other stuff, like asking question about thetopic we learned, praise and worship every start of the day, intercession,etc. etc. On the Friday evening we have community meeting. In the last Friday evening I gave my life back to our Lord Jesus. They showed us a video clip and something snap in me. There I said to our Lord:'Lord, you died on the cross for me, now I want to give my life to you. Send me, Lord,wherever You want to have me.

The outreach is going to South Africa: Cape Town, where we are goingto evangelize and visit the conference of spiritual worldleaders. They want to make statues for every religion in the world and place it in Cape Town. So we going to pray and evangelize. Maybe I can talk with the Dahlai Lama about my Redeemer and Savior.The last 3 weeks are in Johannesburg. We are going to work there in suburb Hillsborough. The streetgangs rules there and we are gonna work with the streetkids and with a orphanages, where children between 0-8 years are treated for Aids.

I want to thank everybody who supports me in prayers. You are so important for me. Knowing that there are people who are thinking about me and encouraging me, gives a man strength.

There are some praying points:

• - In Cape Town we still do not have housing, but we trust God that He will provide;

• - that God will continuous works in me to be in His will and service;

• - A safe outreach;
