In March of 2002, we started in the adoption process with the Independent Adoption Center.  We finished all of the paperwork on August 15, 2002 and received a call from his birthmother, Lisa, on September 11, 2002.  Amy was able to spend a lot of time with Lisa while she was pregnat since she was from North Carolina.  When it came time for Cameron to be born, we were able to be there for everything.  It was the neatest thing to see Cameron in his first few moments of life.  We took him home three days later and it has been such a blessing to have him in our lives.  Cameron is a very smart, energetic, funny little boy.  He is now three and a half.  Cameron loves to play with his army men, rescue heros and his tinker toys.  He loves to be outside playing in the yard or going to the park.  He is very anxious to have a playmate.  He plays a lot with his cousins but wants a brother or sister like they have.  He loves to watch movies, especially Toy Story, Finding Nemo and Mr. Incredable.  He loves to hear stories and read books.  He adds a lot of enthusiasm to our house.  He loves to get a good laugh from anyone.  He is in AWANA's at church and has currently learned 22 verses out of the Bible.  He loves learning!  He loves to sing and dance.  Amy is watching a newborn baby that Cameron has fallen in love with. He is such a good helper and has even learned how to put Isaac to sleep by rubbing his face very softly. He is even more excited now about having a baby brother or sister.
