Locus of Thought is a small research group focusing on styles of thinking and learning. In particular, we are examining different modes of non-linear thought, to expand the vocabulary of this domain, while increasing the consideration for the strengths represented by these methods of thought.

Saying 'non-linear' is the equivalent of saying 'non-red.' There is a false dichotomy established in the minds of the public, and especially in the minds and curriculum of most educators. But until there is a common vocabulary to discuss the ideas behind these thought processes, they will be relegated to a common pile of consideration.
