I met my wife at The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Halloween in Upstate NY.We were in the cast together,she played Magenta I played Brad.We have 2 kids-1 daughter 1 son.We didn't start haunting until we bought our first house in Jersey.I created a small maze in one of the rooms in our half finished basement for my daughter's (Katzper) birthday party.I used black canvas & wood partitions that we were going to throw out from my wife's disbanded acting troup.The following year we went to Universal's Fright Night & discovered the Haunts they had created in their back lots.The following years I expanded the Haunt into the entire basement.I needed more ideas so I turned to the Internet to search for "Others" like me.I found not too many assorted websites but I did stumble upon the Halloween-l List.I lurked there for about a year & stole...I mean learned about so many techniques.I have just recently of last year discovered my outside yard & have expanded the Haunt at least 50%.The Haunted Basement consist of 13 assorted rooms & hallways of traditional Halloween scenes.Most of the props are static & I rely on live actors but I am working on adding some animated creatures.The Yard Haunt features a fenced in cemetery including Pillars, burning witches & the ever expanding Thoma Tarpits.If you like to take a tour of the Haunt my website is:
