Twice now I ahve been the chairperson for these awards started by my good friend Benny Jet and well all celbrating kick ass Detroit Rock n roll bands. LDR and by far my most succesfull site and well wihtout the help of Rev(who made this kick ass logo) well this site would've never happened but hey we had a ton of fun for almost two years running LDR and we saw bands in fight come apart come together and generally bitch about all fo it on our mesage board but hey it's all good a important part of my musical legacy and the link will take you to the third version of LDR and well the best one was the second version it's really a shame we couldn't make it last, but to all things they turn turn turn.
What happened to the site and to several friendships during this period in my life is well kinda sad. I guess when you take a couple of highly creative people put them together with a really cool idea and then add a whole bunch of alcohol and slutty girls dude this is the kinda shit that happens.
I've never really came out and taken my part of the blame for the flameout that LDR became. In truth I instigated a great deal of it, and it's really kinda sad when ithink about what could've been. We had investores lined up to make this site really pump man, we had the support of the entire music scene and well dude what a shame that we let pussy, egos and alcohol fuck it all up. |

| Ok I did his while I lived in Oakland county but I never really gt it off the ground so it was a little fun covered a couple of shows but whatever man ran out of time and ran out of stema and ran out of wanting to be in Detroit so I left for a little over a year and now I am back rebuilding my Detroit musical connections. All this is is where I have been not where I am going. |
