I think it is really hard for people today to remember how big bands espically big bands really used to be. In an era of Poison and other long haired posers Guns was a kick in the fucking face. These guys were fucking cool, these guys were fucking hard core live our way fuck everything else.

For me this was exactly the attitude I was devloping and guite honestly if not for GNR well it would've been something else. Some other band would have come along and well I would have lkatched onto that instead.

Thank god for GNR who from the first time I saw them on MTV till I bought my first copy of Appitite dude I was all about. And scaring the shit out of everyone around me was a difinite plus.

Paradise city was probably the first guns song I remember hearing man and well man I was just learniung what kinda music I liked as opposed to listening to what the people around me where into.

It was around then that  ifound Guns, Metallica, and Motley Crue. But Guns was always my favorite. It seemed everytime I turned on the TV there was some kind guns news. Man it was cool, that was the first time I felt apart of something that felt so big.

They are still one of my favorite bands, in it's new format and the splinter Velevet Revlover. Hopefully they will get back together someday.
