("War Machine" starts and we go through the opening video with the following clips: Spike Dudley hitting the Acid Drop on D-Lo Brown, Too Cold Scorpio nailing the 450 on Fit Finlay, Jeff Hardy blasting New Jack over the head with a guitar, The Extremists standing on opposite turnbuckles, Too Cool brawlin it out with the Dragon Kid and Juventud Guerrera, Ken Shamrock putting Frank Shamrock in the Ankle Lock Submission, Saturn dropping Chris Benoit with the Death Valley Driver, Mike Awesome executing the Awesome Bomb on The Giant, Benoit putting Saturn in the Crippler Crossface, Bigelow and Lee executing their finishers from the top rope through tables onto the Extremists, Robert Thompson dropping Jyushin Lyger with the Double Arm DDT, Perry Saturn driving Sid into the mat with a Death Valley Driver, Dean Malenko putting the Texas Cloverleaf on Benoit, and then Malenko holding the World Title over his head.)

The cameras pan over the crowd, taking in the large amount of fans that have showed up for the show. The main event for tonight's show has already been announced. Mike Awesome will be hooking up with Billy Kidman in what promises to be one of the better matches Heat has ever had.
Everybody is in the building just in case they are chosen for the Random Draw match, and we all know that when the entire WWA roster is in one building that it means trouble.
The show was ready to start and so we went to our first match.

---------------------------------------------
Steve Strong vs Spike Dudley
---------------------------------------------

Steve Strong and Steve Corino both seem to be experiencing a great load of success since breaking up and turning to singles. Tonight would be a big test for Steve Strong as Spike Dudley is always capable of pulling out a win, no matter who the opponent.
Strong and Spike started arguing even before the bell rang, but once it did Spike sent his foot kicking straight forward, aiming low, but Strong was able to catch the foot before it connected and dropped Spike with a clothesline.
Strong was able to use his power to dominate the smaller Spike Dudley. It looked bad for Spike. That is until Corino started walking down the aisle. He got halfway to the ring before Strong noticed him. This distracted him long enough for Spike to roll him up from behind! The ref dropped down, but only got to two before Strong was able to kick out.
Strong got right back up, but this time Spike's kick to the groin connected. Strong bent over in pain, Spike grabbed the head, ran up the turnbuckles, BUT STRONG COUNTERS WITH A BACK SUPLEX! Spike hit hard as Strong quickly hopped onto the second turnbuckle and jumped off, driving his elbow right into Spike's throat. He hooked the leg, but that didn't really matter...Spike wasn't getting up.

Steve Strong pinned Spike Dudley with the Elbowdrop from the 2nd rope in
0:08:52.
Rating: ** 1/2

As soon as the bell rang Corino slid into the ring and was able to hit a clothesline on Strong right before he got to his feet. Down went Strong, but Corino wasn't done. He whipped Strong into the ropes and nailed him with a dropkick.
Corino exited the ring and grabbed a chair from ringside. He re-entered the ring and waited for Strong to get back up. Once he had Corino swung the chair wildly at Strong's head, but Strong ducked! Corino looked shocked, but he turned around regardless, but Strong was waiting for him with a kick to the midsection! Corino bent over and Strong dropped him with a DDT!
Strong bent over...He has the chair!!! Luckily for Corino he was able to slide out of the ring before Strong got a chance to use it.
These two are on a collision course with one another.

We went to the back after the ring was cleared to get words from the #1 contenders to the tag titles.

(Eric Embry, D'Lo Brown, and Mike Quackenbush are standing in front of the WWA interview set.)

ERIC EMBRY: My two men are fighting two big pieces of crap on Sunday. That's really all they are. Bam Bam Bigelow and Brian Lee aren't anything that Mike and D'Lo can't handle. When I was invited into this fed by D'Lo I was hoping I'd find some great competition. To tell you the truth, I am a little dissapointed. Where are the stars? Where are the people that make us elevate our game? To tell you the truth, I haven't seen anybody like that. Lee and Bigelow? Nope. Gangstas? I don't even know if they can read. Especially that Mustafa. And the Eliminators? Sure, they were the best tag team ... years ago. Now they are just a couple of guys that can't do anything without eachother. The Extremists? They are the biggest joke I've ever seen. They were the most dominant team in the WWA until the real teams started showing up. Once the Gangstas, the Eliminators, Lee and Bigelow, and us 3 showed up, they've been on the back burner. What a joke!

As for the team we are getting ready to face? Too Cool? What a stupid name. Christopher and Taylor are just a couple of nobodies that never will be anybody and that's the truth. Taylor, Christopher, nobody will remember you in 10 years. But they will us. We are going places, you are stuck on the low card, never wrestling on Terror. Yeah, you are nothing. We are the next superstars.

We go back to the ring to see Too Cool's entrance. They weren't dancing down the aisle like they usually do, however. Instead they walked straight to the ring and awaited their opponents. Apparently they didn't like what Embry had to say.
Embry's team of D'Lo Brown and Mike Quackenbush were out next. At first they seemed like an usual tag team, but now you can't really picture them apart. D'Lo and Quackenbush - possibly our future World Tag Team Champions!

----------------------------------------------------
D'Lo & Quackenbush vs Too Cool
----------------------------------------------------

Too Cool wanted to prove themselves tonight and left their dancing in the back. This was going to be a match to see who was better.
Taylor and D'Lo started the match off with Taylor gaining the early advantage. Taylor came out firing as he knocked D'Lo into the corner and started pounding on him. D'Lo fought back with some of his own offense, but when D'Lo tried to whip Taylor into the turnbuckles, Taylor was able to reverse it. D'Lo hit the buckles hard and as he came staggering out Taylor dropped him with a faceslam. With D'Lo knocked silly Taylor was able to nail the W-O-R-M, but as he went for the cover Quackenbush entered the ring and broke up the count.
This sent Christopher into the ring and a big four man brawl erupted. It took the ref a little bit, but he got things back under control and pushed Christopher and Quackenbush to the outside. D'Lo and Taylor were growing tired, however, and tagged their partners in.
Now it was Quackenbush and Christopher who got to have a go at it. The two men brought their wrestling boots tonight and gave us a nice little sequence of old fashioned wrestling which ended with Christopher hooking Quackenbush from behind. Quackenbush couldn't escape which allowed Christopher to bring him flying back with a German Suplex. Quackenbush was down for the count of two, but just before the ref's hand dropped down for the third time Mike was able to kick out.
Christopher kept Quackenbush on the ropes, but eventually Christopher grew tired and made a mistake. He whipped Quackenbush into the ropes, but as Quackenbush came back Christopher tried to leap frog over him. Christopher didn't get enough heigth, however, and Quackenbush was able to grab him and drop him hard to the mat with a spinebuster.
Quackenbush and D'Lo now had their opening and used it to their full advantage. Quick tags and some big moves soon had Christopher on the edge of being pinned. Quackenbush and D'Lo showed why they are the #1 contenders by dismantling Christopher, not cutting any corners.
Christopher tried to get in one offensive manuever, a clothesline on Quackenbush, but Quackenbush also was going for a clothesline and both connected. Both men landed on the mat, but Quackenbush got right back to his feet only to collapse once more.
Eventually both men crawled over to their partners and made the tag. Taylor came in, ducked under a D'Lo clothesline, and hit a dropkick as D'Lo was turning around. By this time Quackenbush was back up and he charged Taylor only to get hiptossed. D'Lo charged Taylor, but got powerslammed. Taylor hooked the leg, but before the count of two Quackenbush had broken it up.
Christopher got back into things and we once again had a four man brawl. In the confusion Christopher was able to DDT D'Lo and climb to the top rope. He flew off with the Tennessee Jam, but D'Lo moved out of the way! Just as D'Lo got to his feet Taylor charged him. D'Lo was nailed with a dropkick, but as Taylor got back to his feet he was quickly booted in the midsection...QUACKENSMASH! (stunner)
D'Lo springboarded himself onto the top turnbuckle and jumped off with the Lo-Down! IT CONNECTS! D'Lo hooked the leg just as Christopher got back to his feet only to be clotheslined out of the ring.

D'Lo Brown and Mike Quackenbush defeated Too Cool when D'Lo pinned S. Taylor
with the Lo-Down in 0:11:06.
Rating: **

As soon as the match was over D'Lo rolled to the outside as did Quackenbush. They joined up with Embry and shared high fives all around. They made their way to the back as Too Cool got back to their feet. They seemed dissapointed with their loss, but they showed that they can go with the big name tag teams here in the WWA.

From here we goto the back where Billy Kidman is standing with Peter Bernstein. Kidman is involved in tonight's main event as he will go one on one with Mike Awesome. It's a match that just promises to be good.

PETER BERNSTEIN: Billy, tonight you face Mike Awesome. You both have matches at Contact, you facing Matt Hardy, Awesome fighting Dean Malenko's henchman. What are your thoughts going into this match?

BILLY KIDMAN: Peter, you gotta think up some better questions then these. My thoughts? My thoughts are the same for any match. I go out there, I try my best, and I try to win. If I am facing Mike Awesome, Droz, Dean Malenko, Chris Benoit or anything. They are always the same. I try my hardest. I try my hardest to not go down for the three. Sure, Awesome is big. And I respect the man. He's shown that he is one of the toughest guys we have here in the WWA. But that doesn't mean I can't take him down. I don't think you all know just how good I am. I've never really been given a shot to show what I am capable of. Tonight's that shot.

PETER BERNSTEIN: What about your match with Matt Hardy tomorrow on Contact?

BILLY KIDMAN: The hours are ticking away and soon we'll be in the ring with one another. Matt has something wrong with him, that's obvious. He enjoys hurting people. Torturing people. Hell, he broke a pane of glass over his own brother's head. There is definately something wrong with him. I plan on taking care of it tomorrow. Matt, you might be going into this match thinking you are going to hurt me, but you are wrong there. I am going to be the one doing the hurting. I am going to pound the shit out of you until you finally return to being the old Matt. Matt, your reign of terror ends at Contact. This one's for Jeff.

We go back to the ring to see Brian Lee make his entrance. He has one of the tag titles around his shoulder. He looks as serious as ever. Brian Lee came to the WWA with Raven, but along with Bigelow have really made names for themselves, especially in the tag title division.
Ken Shamrock was out next. He was received by a huge chorus of jeers as was his brother Frank Shamrock. They both made their way down the aisle apparently not caring about what the fans think. Ken Shamrock entered the ring as Frank waited on the outside.

----------------------------------------------
Brian Lee vs Ken Shamrock
----------------------------------------------

Brian Lee and Ken Shamrock went face to face as the bell rang. They seemed to show a little bit of respect for one another as they both nodded their heads before letting their fists do the talking. Despite Lee being the bigger man Shamrock gained the upper hand and pushed Lee into the corner.
Shamrock let loose his rather stiff kicks and punches to the face. Shamrock followed all that up by belly to belly suplexing Lee out of the corner. Lee was right back to his feet, but Shamrock had done at least some damage.
Shamrock kept up the offense for the next few minutes, the hit and run technique really coming into play. He'd nearly cut Lee in half with one of his kicks, but move out of the way before Lee could retaliate.
Shamrock was slowly wearing Lee down with this tactic, but it came to a quick hault when Shamrock tried to go for a dropkick, but Lee shoved the feet away. Shamrock got right back up only to get booted in the midsection, lifted up, and dropped with a fallaway slam. Shamrock was hurt for the first time in the match, but he still was able to get back to his feet only to have Lee charge him and drop him with a boot to the face.
Lee took control and started using his power. Shamrock was almost done for, but when Lee set Shamrock up on the top turnbuckle and went for a superplex Shamrock was able to push him off. Lee hit the mat hard, but still got back to his feet only to see Shamrock jump off the second turnbuckle, wrap his legs around his head and driving him into the mat with a Frankensteiner. Shamrock quickly hooked the leg and got the three count.

Ken Shamrock pinned Brian Lee after a second turnbuckle Frankensteiner in 0:08:18.
Rating: **

Shamrock got to his feet as Frank slid into the ring. Frank had a microphone in hand and handed it over to Ken. Lee, meanwhile, slid to the outside and walked to the back, his head hanging in dissapointment.

KEN SHAMROCK: You see that, Chris? That's just a tiny taste of what you will be in for tomorrow. You are half responsible for my brother's injury. You and Dean. I plan on making you feel Frank's pain. Not just the pain of his injury, but also the emotional pain. The pain he feels every day when he wakes up and knows he won't be able to wrestle ever again. I blame you, Chris.

("Song 2" by Blur)

Chris Benoit stepped out of the entrance curtains! The crowd jumped to their feet and cheered him on. He had a microphone with him, but he wasn't staying up at the top of the ramp. He was walking down the aisle. He wasn't scared of Ken.
Chris entered the ring and Ken walked up to him. They were a few feet away from one another as Benoit lifted the mic up to his mouth.

CHRIS BENOIT: You know, Ken, I've tried to ignore you. I know you are under a lot of stress. You want revenge for your brother. And you blame me. We both know that is wrong. We both know I am not the one to blame. It's all Dean's fault. But you can't seem to get that through your thick skull. But the more I think about it, maybe it isn't all Dean's fault. No, I'm not admitting it was my fault. I did the best I could to get out there and break it up. No, I think some of the blame has to be put on you and Frank. Take responsibility for yourselves for once. This isn't my fault. Maybe, just maybe, the reason Frank got his leg broken is because he is one of the biggest ... PUSSIES I've ever seen! And you are even a bigger one!

And Frank chop blocks him from behind! Benoit falls onto the mat as Frank starts stomping away. Ken seems to be in shock that Benoit would say such a thing to not only him, but to his brother. AND NOW KEN'S JOINING IN!
Ken and Frank are stomping away at Benoit! Benoit didn't even try to fight back. The Shamrock Brothers were stomping the hell out of him until ...

("Whoomp! There it is!")

TOO COLD SCORPIO! Scorpio ran down the aisle and slid into the ring. Frank saw him, turned, but got popped in the mouth. Frank staggered back and Scorpio leveled him with a jumping side kick. Scorpio landed on his feet, but when he turned around he was sent flying into the air by a release belly to belly suplex from Shamrock.
But as Shamrock hopped to his feet he was kicked in the midsection and dropped with a snap suplex. Shamrock quickly rolled to the outside and joined up with Frank. They both started making their way back up the ramp, never taking their eyes off the ring.
Benoit walked over to Scorpio and helped him to his feet. They talked for a second before watching on as the Shamrock's kept backing up.

Once the ring had been cleared it was Colin Ryder walking down the aisle with his ten gallon hat. We could see some pieces of paper in the hat. This must mean it's LUCK OF THE DRAW time!

-----------------------------------------
Luck of the Draw (G!L!W!)
-----------------------------------------

Colin Ryder stuck his hand into the hat and pulled out a piece of paper. He unfolded it and read the name aloud....MUSTAFA! Of the Gangstas! Mustafa came out to "Natural Born Killaz" and the crowd popped huge. Nobody is really sure if it were for the song or Mustafa.
Colin Ryder reached back into the hat and pulled out another name. He unfolded it and ... MIKE AWESOME!!! Holy crap! "Come With Me" came over the speakers and out stepped Mike Awesome. The crowd jumped to their feet and cheered the man on. He may not be going to Contact as the #1 contender, but they still love the guy. Even if he is a little bit rough around the edges.
Mike Awesome made his way down the aisle and entered the ring. Colin Ryder exited the ring with his hat as the match got under way.

Mustafa went right after Awesome, but was pushed away like a fly. Mustafa came right back only to get hammered. Awesome wanted to end this match quickly as he had a match right after it. He pushed Mustafa into the corner and started firing away.
Awesome kept this advantage for basically the entire match. Sure, Mustafa would sneak in a few punches here and there, but it was pretty much over before it started as Awesome nailed Mustafa with his Awesome Bomb. But he wasn't done. He climbed up to the top rope and flew off with apparently a new move of his, the Awesome Splash. It connected and Mustafa was done.

Mike Awesome pinned Mustafa with the Awesome Splash in 0:05:56.
Rating: -1/2*

Mike Awesome got back to his feet and motioned with his hands for somebody to bring it on. That somebody would be the man he's fighting in the main event, Billy Kidman. This is a big match for both men. Let's see who comes out on top.

-------------------------------------------------
Mike Awesome vs Billy Kidman
-------------------------------------------------

Once Kidman entered the ring the bell was rung and our match was under way.
Kidman ran right into a kick to the midsection, but Awesome wasn't done as he followed that up with three more quick kicks to the midsection. Awesome grabbed him around the waist, he lifts him up....HE'S RUNNING!!! HE CAN'T! HE DOES! RUNNING RELEASE AWESOME BOMB!
Kidman hit the mat, but as he hit he slid on the mat all the way under the bottom rope and to the outside! Kidman landed in a heap on the outside. The crowd was already chanting "Awesome" for Mike's awesome showing (no pun).
Awesome walked over to the ropes, stepped over them, and dropped to the arena floor. He picked Kidman up and threw him hard into the ringsteps. The ringsteps went flying, but Awesome wasn't done. He picked Kidman back up and threw him into the ring. Kidman still had something in him and quickly got to his feet and ran up the turnbuckles. Just as Awesome was stepping back over the top rope and into the ring Kidman flew off with a double axehandle...BUT AWESOME CAUGHT HIM! Awesome lifted Kidman high into the air with both hands. He was choking the life out of Kidman!
He held him up there for a good 10 seconds in a great showing of power before he threw Kidman down and into the corner. Just as Kidman hit the corner he shot right out and dropkicked the knee right out from under Awesome. Awesome didn't fall onto the mat, however. He hopped around on one leg, but Kidman caught him with a clothesline as Awesome was near the ropes. The power of the move sent Awesome over the top rope and to the outside.
Kidman quickly exited the ring, grabbed Awesome, and whipped him into the guardrail. Awesome hit hard, but Kidman wasn't done as he ran towards Awesome, jumped onto the ring steps, and hit Air Kidman, stealing a move out of Jeff Hardy's book.
Kidman grabbed a handful of hair and threw Awesome back into the ring. He quickly followed, but was booted in the midsection by Awesome. Awesome grabbed ahold of Kidman, UP!, Kidman slips out! HE DROPS AWESOME WITH A SITDOWN FACESLAM! Kidman escaped the Awesome Bomb!
Kidman rolled Awesome over and made the cover.

    NO! Kickout!

Kidman seemed a little dissapointed, but not enough to hault his momentum. He hopped onto the top turnbuckle and waited as Awesome got to his feet. Once he had Kidman jumped off the turnbuckle, hooking Awesome's head, more than likely going for a bulldog...but Awesome held on!!! He used all that power he has and kept himself standing! He dropped Kidman with a back suplex and that took any energy right out of the youngster.
Awesome exited the ring, but kept on the ring apron. He just stood there as Kidman slowly got to his feet. Once he had Awesome grabbed ahold of the top rope and springboarded himself into the ring with a diving shoulderblock! This hit Kidman full force and Kidman went sprawling backwards.
Awesome dragged Kidman back into the center of the ring and dropped him with a vicious piledriver. Kidman wasn't getting up from that, but for some reason Awesome didn't go for the cover. He instead picked Kidman up and dropped him with a snap suplex. Kidman bounced off the mat with quite a load of impact, but that still wasn't it.
Awesome picked Kidman back up, grabbed him by the neck with one hand, his stomach with the other and lifted him high into the air! GORILLA PRESS! Kidman landed extremely hard and now he wasn't even moving. Kidman was getting the hell pounded out of him by Awesome, but Awesome wasn't going for any pinfalls!
Awesome this time climbed up to the top rope as Kidman used the ropes to get to his feet. Once up he staggered around until in perfect position as Awesome flew off the top turnbuckle and connected with Kidman with a flying clothesline! Kidman went back down to the mat, doing a backwards somersault on the way. Awesome dragged his thumb across his throat as if to say "This is it!" He grabbed ahold of Kidman and dragged him back to the center of the ring.
The fans didn't seem to know what to expect, nor did I for that matter, but Awesome soon let them know as he climbed back up to the top turnbuckle. He flew off, high into the air, and landed full impact on Kidman's ribs. AWESOME SPLASH! Awesome hooked the leg as the ref dropped down to end this gruesome match.

    KICKOUT!!!

Kidman kicked out! Kidman got out! How in the hell is he even alive?!?!
Awesome was in shock this time. He just couldn't believe it. He shook his head a couple of times, but got himself together enough to pull Kidman to his feet. As he did Kidman brought his foot up and connected with Awesome's groin. Awesome bent over in pain and Kidman bounced off the ropes and dropped him with a neckbreaker. Awesome was down on the mat and Kidman knew this was his oppurtunity.
Kidman quickly climbed up to the top turnbuckle. He jumped off, but Awesome moved out of the way of the Shooting Star Press!!! Kidman hit the mat! Awesome was already back to his feet and he pulled Kidman up. He grabs him around the waist, he is running, RUNNING AWESOME BOMB! Awesome bends down and hooks both legs this time.

Mike Awesome pinned Billy Kidman with the Awesome Bomb in 0:12:00.
Rating: ** 3/4

Kidman had no chance of kicking out of that one. Awesome motioned that he wanted the mic which was given to him.

MIKE AWESOME: Kidman, earlier tonight, you said you respected me. Thanks. That really means alot.

Awesome said all of that with a huge grin on his face. That's just disgusting. Awesome raised his fist in the air and the crowd continued to cheer him. Awesome just ridiculed Kidman for him admitting he respected Awesome. How horrible.

Awesome exited the ring and started walking down the aisle, but all of a sudden a fan jumped out from behind him. THAT'S THE MASKED HENCHMAN! HE HAS HIS LEAD PIPE! The henchman hammered Awesome from behind. Awesome fell to the floor as the henchman started laying in the boots. He even dropped down to his knees and started firing away with fists at Awesome's skull. Official started pouring down the aisle to tear him off, but it took nearly eight of them before they could get him off.
By that time the damage had been done and Awesome was bleeding from the forehead.

   And we fade to bla...What?

(these words fall across a black screen)

I'll be there watching. For my eyes never leave. I am here. I will always be here. This is mine. Nobody shall take it from me. For this is my destiny and destiny can't be changed.
