| ("War Machine" starts and we go through the opening video with the following clips: Spike Dudley hitting the Awesome Drop on D-Lo Brown, Too Cold Scorpio nailing the 450 on Fit Finlay, Jeff Hardy blasting New Jack over the head with a guitar, The Extremists standing on opposite turnbuckles, Ken Shamrock putting Frank Shamrock in the Ankle Lock Submission, Saturn dropping Chris Benoit with the Death Valley Driver, Benoit putting Saturn in the Crippler Crossface, Bigelow and Lee executing their finishers from the top rope through tables onto the Extremists, Robert Thompson dropping Jyushin Lyger with the Double Arm DDT, Mike Awesome executing the Awesome Bomb on The Giant, Dean Malenko putting the Texas Cloverleaf on Benoit, and then Malenko holding the World Title over his head.) (We cut to the ring where Paul Wight is in the ring with the microphone. Oh, great! We get to hear him talk.) Paul Wight: As everybody knows, I have alligned myself with Chris Benoit. But I haven't really been of any use recently. I haven't been able to do anything and basically have just been 450 pounds of total crap in the ring. Well, I am going to change all that as I am calling out Raven to a Loser Leaves WWA match. I want him in the ring here tonight and I am going to prove to everybody that I have what it takes to be the top star here in the WWA and take Raven completely out of the WWA in the process! ("Come Out and Play" and here comes Raven. He steps out from the entrance way and stays at the top of the aisle, but he does have a mic in hand.) Raven: So, big man, you finally want to prove that you are capable of doing something bigger than being in the shadow of either Malenko or Benoit? You know, I actually respect you for that, but you chose the wrong man to make your example out of. I am not going to let you pin me tonight, Paul. It is as simple as that. You will more than likely beat me from pillar to post, but you will not pin me because I won't let you. I will be the one to get my hand raised tonight, and in the process I will be eliminating one of my threats. A big one at that. You just committed suicide, Paul. Know that I warned you as I do not want to be responsible for eliminating a career and taking away a man's job. You can back out if you want, I will not be angry, but just know that if you stay in this match that your career in the WWA is over. ("Come Out and Play" and exit Raven.) Paul Wight: I'll see you later tonight and prove you wrong! (And now Paul Wight exits the ring and we are ready for our first match.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- #1 Contendership to Lightweight Title Billy Kidman vs Dragon Kid --------------------------------------------------------------------- The winner of this match would more than likely go onto face Jeff Hardy for the Lightweight Title at Surival of the Fittest (our next Supercard). Alot of people were hoping that Kidman would win as we would get to see a battle of friends. Alot of people were surprised when Jeff Hardy came out with Kidman to apparently cheer him onto victory. The Dragon Kid came out by himself and was as arrogant as ever. Kidman went right after his arch-nemesis with several forearms right out of a lockup. He pushed the Kid into the ropes and then whipped him into the opposite ropes. Kidman caught him with a clothesline on the rebound and then tried to fire up the crowd in which he succeeded. The Kid was right back to his feet, but Kidman took him right back down with a dropkick right to the jaw. The force of the kick sent the Dragon Kid falling in between the ropes and to the outside. Kidman walked over to the ropes and waited for the Kid to get to his feet and then springboarded himself to the outside with a plancha. Kidman kept up the offense for several minutes with his normal high flying offense, but the Dragon Kid waited for a mistake and soon saw it as Kidman once again started playing up to the crowd. The Kid ran up behind Kidman and nailed him with a bulldog that knocked Kidman silly. The Dragon Kid picked Kidman up by the hair and set him on the top turnbuckle and went up top as well. One belly to back superplex later and Kidman was in obvious pain. The Kid was quick to pick Kidman back up and not give him anytime to rest. He kept up the offense and even lifted Kidman up for a powerbomb and nailed it! Apparently the Kid CAN powerbomb Kidman. Dragon Kid held onto Kidman's legs and hoped for the 3 count, but Kidman got out in two. The Dragon Kid tried one more move as he went to the top rope and went for his Dragon Rana, but Kidman caught him and dropped him with a sitdown powerbomb. The ref dropped down to make the count, but it only got two. Kidman sensed the end and dragged the Kid over to the turnbuckle and then went to the ring apron and climbed to the top preparing for his Shooting Star Press. But here comes Matt Hardy and he immediately goes over to Jeff Hardy and tries talking to him. Jeff looks uncomfortable and motions for him to goto the back. Matt pleads with Jeff to forgive him, but Jeff just shrugs him off. Kidman sees this and jumps off the turnbuckle and starts arguing with Matt. Matt is obviously not happy with the interruption and flips Kidman off. Kidman motions for him to bring it on, but Jeff is there to grab ahold of Matt before he can get on the ring apron and demands that he goes to the back. Matt goes reluctantly, but Kidman continues to watch him the entire way. Finally Kidman turns around only to be plastered by the Dragon Kid with a spinning leg lariat. Kidman goes down, and the Dragon Kid springboards himself onto the top turnbuckle. He is perched there until Kidman slowly gets to his feet. The Kid comes flying off the top rope with the Dragon Rana and this time Kidman doesn't block it. Dragon quickly makes the cover, and the ref makes the easy three count. Dragon Kid pinned Billy Kidman with the Dragon Rana in 0:08:37. Rating: ** 1/2 Jeff slides into the ring to check on Kidman as the Dragon Kid is very happy with his win over his rival. He exits the ring and looks to be going to the back when he sees the Lightweight Champ in the ring helping Kidman. He quickly runs over to the ring announcer and throws him out of his seat. He then grabs the chair and folds it up and slides back into the ring behind Jeff and Billy. The Kid taps Jeff on his shoulder and Jeff turns around only to be nailed with the chair. Jeff falls down hard, but the Kid isn't done. He starts pummeling both Jeff and Billy with chair shots as they are down on the mat. Finally out comes Matt Hardy once again with his own chair and clears the ring of the Dragon Kid. Matt tries to help Jeff up, but Jeff just pushes him away and rolls over to Kidman. Jeff and Billy help eachother up and both stagger to the back while Matt walks behind them still trying to talk to Jeff. (We now cut to the back where Brian Christopher is taping up his knee. Scott Taylor comes into the locker room and Christopher quickly gets to his feet and itno a defensive position.) Scott Taylor: Hey, slow it down there. I know we have had our problems, but I think we should put them to the side and worry about the tag match tonight. Brian Christopher: Look, I don't know why we were put in a tag match together with our history, but just know that I am not happy about it. Scott Taylor: Well, actually, I went to the office and asked for this match. Christopher: You did what?!? Taylor: Come on, man! We are the best tag team around and we both know it as does everybody else. We have been going nowhere in singles. We need to re-unite! Christopher: I know we were the best team ever, but I just don't know if I can get past our history together. Taylor: Listen, I'm sorry for whatever I did in our past. Lets at least do this for Rikishi. Christopher: You're right. For Rikishi! (Huh?) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Too Cool vs The Head Bangers --------------------------------------------------------------------- Too Cool is back and everybody is happy...yeah. They actually seemed to be getting along very well throughout this match and dominated most of the mach which surprised alot of people. The Head Bangers just can't seem to get their career's back on track after all their recent jobs no matter what the promotion. Taylor even did the Worm for the first time ever in the WWA to a big pop. Mosh and Thrasher didn't last long and were soon put away with the Tennessee Jam. Too Much defeated The Headbangers when Christopher pinned Thrasher with the Tennessee Jam in 0:06:11. Rating: ** 1/2 (We now once again cut to the back where Matt Hardy is standing in front of a couple of lockers.) Matt Hardy: Jeff, I know you don't forgive me, and I really don't blame you. I let you down and there is nothing I can do to remedy that situation. I left you to get your ass kicked at the hands of the Gangstanators at As Good As It Gets. I suppose I should be thankful that Kidman had the balls to step up and team with you, but he sure as hell doesn't have to be so arrogant about it! But that is besides the point, I am going to do whatever it takes to get your foregiveness. I am doing something I never thought I would have the courage to do tonight and that is step in the ring for a hardcore match. I will have to be nailed with chairs *shudders*, cheese graters *gulps*, and ... I might even bleed!!! *Matt gets real woozy and staggers around before sitting on a bench.* Matt: I never thought I would do this, Jeff, but I will do it, just for you! Please take this as the biggest apology I can give and if I live through it please forgive me!!! (Matt walks out and he soon comes down the aisle to a mixed reaction. The question is, who is his opponent? We soon find out when "Train" by Blackfoot blasts over the speakers and out comes 1/2 of the tag team champions, Brian Lee! Matt is in for one huge can of whoopass.) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Hardcore Match Matt Hardy vs Brian Lee --------------------------------------------------------------------- As soon as Lee entered the ring Matt was ready. He charged in with a dropkick that staggered the much bigger man. He tried another and connected once again, but Lee kept on his feet. Matt tried one more, and was easily swatted away. Things then got a little messy. Lee picked Matt up off the ground and up over his head. He then walked to the ropes and dumped him to the outside onto the concrete. Lee wasn't far behind as he stepped over the top rope and went to the outside. He picked Matt up and hurled him into the guardrail with force. Matt staggered off of the guardrail and right into Lee's awaiting arms. Lee grabbed ahold of him and picked Matt up on his shoulder. He then charged full steam at the ringpost and sent Matt's head right into the post causing Matt to be busted wide open. Matt went down in a heap while Brian Lee walked over to to the other side of the ring and went under the ring. He soon came back out with a garbage can full of assorted weapons. Things were definately not looking good for Matt. Meanwhile, Matt continued to lay on the floor until he put his hand to his forehead and looked at it only to see blood. Matt looked at it for several seconds before he started screaming "I AM BLEEDING!!!" Matt got to his feet and ran to the official and demanded some medical attention, but the ref just stood there dumbfounded. This left Matt wide open for Lee who attacked him from behind with the garbage can. Lee cracked it right over Matt's head causing some of the weapons to fall to the floor as well as Matt Hardy himself. Brian Lee continued to bash the trashcan all over Matt's body until the trashcan was pinched shut. Lee threw the can to the fans and instead just started to lay the boots to the Hardy. Matt tried to crawl out of harm's way, but Lee was relentless with his punishment. Finally Matt escaped Lee with a low blow. Lee was down long enough for Matt to slide into the ring and climb to the top rope. Lee was soon to his feet, but Matt came sailing off with a beautiful sommersault dive that sent Lee and Matt crashing into the floor. Matt picked Lee up and threw him into the guardrail. Matt then grabbed a guitar had fallen out of the trashcan earlier. Lee staggered forward and Matt crashed the guitar right over Lee's head. Lee fell like a sack of bricks and Matt looked on as if he couldn't believe what he had done. After several seconds of this Matt finally decided to make the cover and the ref dropped to the mat to make the count. 1... 2... KICKOUT! Lee somehow kicked out! Matt seemed to be in shock, but didn't waste any time. He picked Lee up and threw him into the ring. Matt went under the ring and grabbed a table and slid it into the ring. Matt jumped into the ring and was quick to set the table up. He then put Lee on top of it and climbed to the top turnbuckle. Matt climbed to the top turnbuckle, but then turned around and faced towards the crowd!!! MOONSAULT THROUGH THE TABLE!!! LEE MOVED!!! MATT GOES CRASHING THROUGH THE TABLE! Matt has to be destroyed! Lee quickly goes to the outside and goes under the ring once again. He brings out another table and slides it into the ring alongside the remnants of the other table. Lee then climbs into the ring and sets the table up near a turnbuckle. Lee then picks Matt up and sets him on the top turnbuckle and Lee goes outside to the ring apron and climbs up as well. Once Lee is up top he grabs ahold of Matt and gets him in a standing position...HE GRABS HIM BY THE NECK!!! OH NO!!! PRIME TIME SLAM FROM THE TOP ROPE AND THROUGH THE TABLE!!! MATT IS DEAD!!! Lee jumps off the top turnbuckle and makes the cover! 1... 2... 3!!! Brian Lee pinned Matt Hardy with the Prime Time Slam in 0:10:46. Rating: * 1/2 Brian Lee got to his feet and looked around at the destruction that he has caused before slowly stepping over the top rope and walking towards the back. Matt was not moving and it was easy to see why if you looked around the ring. Out came some medical help for Matt, and Jeff was with them. Jeff was quick to slide into the ring and make sure Matt was okay as he was put on a stretcher and carried out. Maybe Matt has done enough to be granted Jeff's forgiveness? Once the ring was cleared and swept it was time for our next match as it was our classic Random Draw Match. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Random Draw Match (G!L!W!) --------------------------------------------------------------------- Our first contestant was announced as Thrasher. We now know that this isn't going to be any classic. Now it was just a question if it would be a slaughter or a even contest? The other wrestler that was drawn was...MIKE AWESOME!!!!!! Slaughter. Mike Awesome just steam rolled through an already tired Thrasher. Thrasher wouldn't have much of a chance even if he hadn't already had a match tonight, but since he had already had one, there wasn't much doubt in anybody's mind. Mike Awesome just toyed around with Thrasher and tried out a different assortment of powerbombs before finally dropping him with the sitdown Awesome Bomb to get the 3 count. Mike Awesome pinned Thrasher with the Awesome Bomb in 0:06:13. Rating: * 3/4 Mike Awesome continued the destruction of Thrasher as he nailed several more different variations of the Awesome Bomb. Finally Mike Awesome decided to leave as it was getting time for the main event. Raven came out first and walked right into Mike Awesome who was leaving. They both had words for eachother and the fans were getting very anxious as they wanted to see if Awesome is really main event caliber. Unfortunately for them and us nothing came of it and Awesome left and Raven continued on his way. Paul Wight wasn't far behind and as Wight stepped over the top it was Raven delivering the first blow and the bell was rung for this historical match as one main eventer would be no more after tonight. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Loser Must Leave WWA Paul Wight vs Raven --------------------------------------------------------------------- Raven tried several punches to Wight's head, but Paul just shook them off and grabbed ahold of Raven's hair and gave him a mighty headbutt which sent Raven flying onto his back. This gave Wight enough time to get fully into the ring. Raven was right back to his feet and tried another shot, but Wight blocked this one and nailed one of his own that sent Raven once again flying backwards. Raven slid to the outside obviously wanting a break, but Wight would have none of it as he slid under the ropes and nailed Raven with a baseball slide that showed some agility we hadn't yet seen out of Paul. With the force of that kick Raven went falling backwards and crashed into the guardrail. Wight slid to the outside and charged Raven and leveled him with a clothesline that sent Raven falling over the guardrail and crashing into the front row. Raven slowly got to his feet, but Wight grabbed ahold of him, on the oppsosite side of the guardrail, by the neck and threw him back into ringside. Raven once again got back to his feet, this time staggering away from Wight, desperately trying to get away. Wight didn't care as he charged at Raven and nailed him with a big boot that sent Raven once again to the mat. Wight took a little more time in lifting Raven, but only a little and lifted Raven back to his feet. Raven tried to mount an offense by delivering several blows to Wight's midsection, but Paul just let them bounce off his rather large stomach. Wight then grabbed ahold of Raven and lifted him above his head!!! He then Gorilla Pressed Raven over the top rope and back into the ring!!!Raven crashed onto the mat and slowly crawled away from Wight and rested on a turnbuckle while Wight made his way back into the ring by stepping onto the ring apron and then stepping over the top rope and into the ring. By this time Raven had gotten to his feet, but Wight charged in full steam at Raven. Luckily for Raven he had enough of a reflex to literally dive out of the way which caused Wight to ram his chest into the turnbuckles. Wight staggered backwards and Raven clipped the knee right out from under Wight. Raven then propped himself on the second turnbuckle and came diving off with a elbow right into Paul's forehead. This only seemed to wake Paul up though. Raven didn't let this stop him as he once again went to the middle turnbuckle and came flying off with a clothesline that leveled the big man. Wight wouldn't go down though as he staggered around the ring. Raven charged full steam at Wight, for who knows what, but Paul caught him around the neck!!!! HE LIFTS HIM!!! CHOKE SLAM!!!! He grabs ahold of Raven's leg and brings it back to make the cover! 1... 2... NO! NO! NO! KICKOUT! Wight doesn't seem to mind as he steps over the top rope once again and goes to the outside. He goes over to the guardrail and literally rips a portion of it out. He then throws the section of guardrail back into the ring and it falls right on top of Raven's skull causing a sickening thud. Wight re-enters the ring and sets the guardrail up against the ropes. Wight grabs ahold of Raven and lifts him to his feet. He grabs him by the neck!!! He is going to Choke Slam Raven onto the guardrail!!! NO! Raven brings his foot up right into Wight's crotch! Wight is hurt badly as he released his grip around Raven's neck. Raven quickly grabs ahold of Wight and drops him with the Evenflow onto the guardrail!!! The guardrail has been bent!!! Wight falls onto his back and Raven barely has enough in him to drop an arm across his chest. 1... 2... BIG KICKOUT!!! Wight isn't going down! Raven is in shock as Wight is getting back to his feet! Raven is pleading with him, but Wight will hear none of it and grabs Raven around the neck once more! He lifts him up and CHOKE SLAM!!!! He puts his foot down on Raven's chest for a weak cover... AND HERE COMES THE NEST!!! Wight see's this and gets off of Raven and prepares himself for the incoming Nest. Nova is first and he is on the receiving end of a headbutt which sent him flying over the top rope from the force. Bam Bam Bigelow was next in line, but walked right into a HUGE dropkick that also sent him flying over the top rope. Brian Lee was next, but he didn't charge Wight, instead he walked right up to him and got in his face. They exchanged words before Lee went for a blow, but Wight blocked it and nailed one of his own. Lee was woozy and Wight capitalized by nailing a clothesline that sent Lee over the top rope. Nova slid back into the ring to take a cheap shot from behind, but Wight just brushed it off, turned around and lifted Nova over his head. He then Gorilla Pressed him into the crowd from the ring!!! Raven had finally gotten back to his feet and sneaked up behind Wight, but Paul turned around and caught Raven by the neck once again!!! The crowd was going apeshit as Wight lifted Raven over his head and then dropped him once again with another Choke Slam! Wight though didn't make the cover for some reason. Instead he lifted Raven back up and prepared to be going for an atomic drop, but instead set him on the top turnbuckle. Wight climbed up alongside Raven and lifted Raven to his feet. Both men were standing on their feet on the top turnbuckle!!! Wight grabbed Raven around the neck and ... IS HE GOING FOR A CHOKESLAM OFF OF THE TOP ROPE!?!? We would not find out, as Raven poked Wight in the eye. Wight brought his hand up trying to rub his eye, but Raven stopped that by bringing his foot up and connecting with Wight's crotch once again. Wight bent over in pain and Raven grabbed his head and fell back....EVENFLOW DDT FROM THE TOP ROPE!!!! WIGHT IS DOWN AND RAVEN ROLLS OVER AND MAKES THE COVER!!! 1... 2... 3!!!!!!!!!!! Raven pinned Paul Wight with a top-rope Evenflow DDT in 0:15:51. Rating: ** 1/4 Raven has defeated Paul Wight and Wight is now gone from the WWA!!! The Nest re-entered the ring and lifted Raven up. Raven regained his breath before going into the crucifixion stance. Wight was still motionless. Raven grabbed the mic from ringside and apparently had something to say. Raven: I warned you, Paul. I'm sorry, but you brought this on yourself. Your career is over, and it was all your fault. I am not to blame, remember that. Quote the Raven, nevermore! And with that Raven exits the ring with the Nest alongside him. They all walk to the back while Chris Benoit, Too Cold Scorpio, and Jyushin Lyger run out to check on their now retired friend Paul Wight. (fade to black) |
