Scott Taylor vs Bob Holly
-----------------------------------------------------------

The night started out with what should of been a good matchup between
Bob Holly and Scott Taylor. Unfortunately neither man really seemed to
be with it tonight. Taylor and Holly switched off the advantage
numerous times with Taylor finally hitting the move that mattered, the
Too Hot Drop to score the pinfall. Afterwards Taylor got on the mic
and it looked like we would finally find out why he was upset at
Christopher.

Scott Taylor pinned Bob Holly with the Too Hot Drop in 0:13:50.

"Christopher, because of you I was fired from the WWF! We were
preparing for our wedding at Valentine's Day Massacre and at the last
moment you backed out. Apparently you thought it would ruin your
career. Well, apparently you weren't thinking of me because after you
quit there was nothing left for me so I was fired. None of that would
of mattered had you thought of me before you acted. I will make you
pay, believe me. Why couldn't you marry me?"

Even though it sounded weird, it kind of made sense.

Wolverine vs Billy Kidman
-----------------------------------------------------------

Our next match saw Billy Kidman and Wolverine, two cruiserweights
shooting up the rankings go at it. Either one of these men could
become the first Lightweight Champion when the title is made. This was
Wolverine's single debut in the WWA and he was bound determined to
make it a good one. Kidman and Wolverine put on a great show.
Wolverine just couldn't keep up, however, and Billy Kidman eventually
hit the Seven Year Itch to get the win.

Billy Kidman pinned Wolverine with the Seven Year Itch in 0:11:38.

The Head Hunters vs The Untouchables
-----------------------------------------------------------

The Head Hunters have been on a hot streak for the past month or two
and tonight went at it with The Untouchables. The Untouchables were
bound determined to stop the streak of the Head Hunters and did a
pretty good job of it tonight. Both teams went at it in hardcore
fashion. A chair was soon put into action when The Head Hunters used
it on each Untouchable. Corino and Strong made a comeback though and
this time they took the chairs and smashed The Head Hunters with them.
Both teams switched off chair shots, but pretty soon The Head Hunters
took the advantage and it didn't look good for Corino or Strong. That
is until The Hardy Boys made an appearance. They started walking down
the aisle which was enough to distract both Head Hunters. In fact Head
Hunter #2 never saw Corino sneak up from behind. Corino pulled HH#2's
head back and dropped him with a inverted DDT.

The Untouchables defeated The Head Hunters when Corino pinned Head
Hunter #2 after an inverted DDT in 0:12:19.
Rating: ** 1/2

Afterwards The Head Hunters got right back up and ran after The Hardy
Boys who were quick to exit. The Untouchables meanwhile celebrated in
the ring.

Fit Finlay vs DROZ-BERG (for Waldrop)
-----------------------------------------------------------

Droz was ready to get his career back on track tonight by trying to
defeat Fit Finlay. Droz stormed to the ring after Finlay's entrance
and went right after Finlay. Unfortunately he ran right into a boot
courtesy of Finlay. Finlay followed it up with a DDT and Droz was down
on the mat once again. Finlay picked Droz back up and planted him with
a forearm. He then started hitting his European Uppercuts which sent
Droz into loony land. Droz tried to make a comeback a short while
later by going for a bodyslam after Finlay missed an elbowdrop, but
Finlay slipped out. Droz turned around and was promptly picked up and
dropped with the Tombstone. The streak continues. Droz threw a hissy
fit afterwards and blamed it all on David Taylor. Droz just doesn't
have what it takes to make it in the WWA.

Fit Finlay pinned Darren Drozdov with the Tombstone Piledriver in
0:01:26.

Jyushin Lyger & Ken Shamrock vs The Gladiator & Owen Hart
-----------------------------------------------------------

The next match saw Owen Hart and The Gladiator do battle with their
arch-rivals Jyushin Lyger and Ken Shamrock. Shamrock was preparing
himself for his chance to get a shot at the World Title while Lyger
was trying to get back on track with a win. Owen Hart and The
Gladiator meanwhile have just been unbeatable in singles competition.
Should be a very good match. Boy was it! These 4 men put on a
spectacular show of brawling, high-flying, mat-wrestling, and spots.
Ken Shamrock even got his Ankle Lock Submission onto The Gladiator
while Owen Hart hooked the Sharpshooter onto Lyger. The question was,
who would give up first? We never found out as Shamrock released the
Ankle Lock and pulled Owen off of Lyger. Shamrock then took Owen down
with a belly to belly suplex which almost put him out of comission,
but Owen kicked out in 2. The Gladiator meanwhile clothesline Lyger
out of the ring. The Gladiator went out after him and the two brawled
around ringside. The referee was trying to break those two up when
Frank Shamrock made an appearance. He had a chair in his hand and
entered the ring. He told Ken to hold Owen up and hook his arms which
Ken did. Frank lifted the chair and swung at Owen, but Owen ducked at
the last second and Frank nailed Ken! Ken fell straight down and Owen
dropkicked Frank out of the ring. Owen quickly hooked on the
Sharpshooter and Ken was out! The ref turned around and had no choice
but to stop the match and give Owen Hart and The Gladiator the win.
The Nation left while Frank and Lyger got back in the ring and checked
to see if Ken was okay.

Owen Hart and The Gladiator defeated Jyushin Lyger and Ken Shamrock
when O. Hart made Shamrock submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:10:23.

Chris Benoit vs Ace Darling
-----------------------------------------------------------

The main event was up next and it would be Chris Benoit doing battle
with one half of the tag team champions in Ace Darling. Looks like
Commissioner Cooper wants Darling to pay and in a bad way. Darling
came out first looking as cocky as ever...but that was until Chris
Benoit made his way down the aisle with a chair in hand. Ace Darling
wasn't going to let him use it though as he springboarded to the
outside with a plancha onto Benoit. Darling then threw Benoit into the
ring and the match was on. Both men put on a excellent show and
Darling showed why he could make it in singles competition or the tag
team division. It was Benoit though coming away with the win after
hitting a Northern Lights Suplex. Benoit walked off still in a pissed
off mood while Ace Darling slowly got to his feet. He didn't have much
time on his feet, however, as The Gangstanators came from out of the
crowd and bashed Darling with several chair shots. They then left the
ring before Devon Storm came running out from the back with a chair in
hand. Storm chased both Kronus and New Jack off before checking to see
if Darling was okay.

Chris Benoit pinned Ace Darling after a Northern Lights suplex in
0:24:44.
