| ("War Machine" starts and we go through the opening video with the following clips: Spike Dudley hitting the Acid Drop on D-Lo Brown, Too Cold Scorpio nailing the 450 on Fit Finlay, Jeff Hardy blasting New Jack over the head with a guitar, The Extremists standing on opposite turnbuckles, Too Cool brawlin it out with the Dragon Kid and Juventud Guerrera, Ken Shamrock putting Frank Shamrock in the Ankle Lock Submission, Saturn dropping Chris Benoit with the Death Valley Driver, Mike Awesome executing the Awesome Bomb on The Giant, Benoit putting Saturn in the Crippler Crossface, Bigelow and Lee executing their finishers from the top rope through tables onto the Extremists, Robert Thompson dropping Jyushin Lyger with the Double Arm DDT, Perry Saturn driving Sid into the mat with a Death Valley Driver, Dean Malenko putting the Texas Cloverleaf on Benoit, and then Malenko holding the World Title over his head.) ("War Pigs" by Black Sabbath) As if one couldn't guess, it would be Dean Malenko coming out to talk first. He came out from behind the curtain, being followed by Perry Saturn and the masked henchman. The WWA World Title was around his shoulder while the henchman carried the pipe that he has used on so many occasions. Malenko entered the ring and grabbed a mic. DEAN MALENKO: Last Monday it was decided that it would either be Jyushin Lyger or Mike Awesome that would face me at Contact. People have been asking what I think about that. I'll tell you what I think: Nothing! Does it really matter if it's Lyger or Awesome? I can beat either of them! Neither one has a chance against me. Who is Lyger anyways? He's just some punk that has been down in the mid-cards since forever and now thinks it's his time to shine. He and Robert Thompson had some great matches, but who was it that always came out on top? That's simple, because if you look at who has the TV Title you know that Thompson got the better of him. Lyger, you and I fought once during the early part of my title reign. I made you tap. We fought just a couple of weeks ago and you beat me. But you didn't beat me cleanly, oh no, if it wasn't for that little bitch, Mike Awesome, than you would never have gotten that non-title victory. You are a nothing and will remain a nothing. There is also the possibility that Mike Awesome will defeat Lyger and go onto face me at Contact. Awesome, you and I have been trying to settle our score for sometime now. You are some big, badass monster, but let me let you in on a little secret. Monsters don't win titles. Monsters are there just for show. They can beat up the pussies, but when it comes to me monsters don't stand a chance. Awesome, you have run through a ton of guys to get where you are today. You started in the Nation, from there won the Universal Title, and have since just been killing people. Yes, I have done my homework. Awesome, you are tough, I'll give you that, but you are not in my league! And poor, poor Chris Benoit. He gets left in the dust again. Benoit, the fans seem to have smartened up a little bit. Not much, but a little. They seem to realize that you aren't able to beat me. You sure have been given plenty of oppurtunities, but you have yet to come through with your promises of victory. Benoit, at As Good As It Gets it was all mapped out. You were supposed to defeat me. You had been chasing me for months. But boy did I prove everybody wrong. You couldn't beat me then. Rewind to a month back and Drawing of the Four. It ended up just you and me, and look what happened. You suffered another defeat at my hands. Benoit, the fans know you can't do it. I know you can't do it. Hell, your friends know you can't do it, and now, hopefully, you yourself know you can't beat me! There are two people fighting tonight in a cage that is called Hell in the Cell. One person is leaving that cage with a title shot against me at Contact. I just want everybody to know that it doesn't matter who wins, I will be the winner in the end and at Contact it will be me leaving with the WWA Title. As for what I will be doing tonight I have been told that I must face Ken Shamrock for my WWA Title and you know what I think about this? Nothing. I could care less. Ken Shamrock has been a thorn in my side since he has been here. I thought he might leave after I kicked his brother's ass and broke his leg. But no, he is still as annoying as ever. Shamrock, you want to go tonight? I'm more than willing. Lyger, Awesome, take notes, you are going to see excellence in that ring tonight. Malenko's music started back up and he and his henchman left the ring to a loud chorus of boos. Malenko was walking with a purpose. He is as confident as ever. We were all set for our first match of the night as 1/2 of the tag champions came out in Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow walked out looking like a man on a mission. He was ready to get his hands on Quackenbush. Quackenbush was out next along with Eric Embry. He received a mixed reaction. The fans seemed a little confused as to who to cheer for. --------------------------------------------------------- Bam Bam Bigelow vs Mike Quackenbush --------------------------------------------------------- Bigelow and Quackenbush are part of tag teams that are currently feuding for the tag titles. Bigelow and Brian Lee hold the tag straps, winning them after entering the WWA with Raven from the Extremists. Quackenbush and D'Lo on the other hand have only been a tag team for a short while. They were put together by manager, Eric Embry. D'Lo had invited Quackenbush and Embry into the fed as friends and they were soon picked up by the federation. D'Lo has been in the WWA since the beginning, but Quackenbush and Embry are both new to the organization. They are still proving themselves worthy including a victory over the Extremists at Drawing of the Four to give them the #1 contendership to the tag titles at Contact. Their partners will fight later on in the show, but now was their time to shine. Bigelow and Quackenbush started off by locking up, but Bigelow showed his power early by pushing Quackenbush aside like a small animal. Quackensbush hit the mat, but got right back to his feet. He seemed a little shaken up, but went right after Bigelow once again. This time he booted Bigelow in the stomach and whipped him into the ropes, but Bigelow came off with a clothesline that nearly turned Quackenbush inside out. Bigelow dropped a big elbow onto Quackenbush's chest trying to make any air left in the smaller man's lungs escape. Bigelow stayed on top of Mike for a two count. Bigelow got back to his feet and lifted Mike up with him. He whipped him into the ropes, and went for another clothesline, but Quackenbush ducked under and hooked Bigelow from behind. Bigelow tried to find a way out, but Quackenbush's grip on him was tight. Still, Quackenbush could do nothing from this position so he eventually let him go. Bigelow wasn't too happy when he was released as he turned around and hammered Quackenbush with a left hook. Quackenbush staggered back and Bigelow booted him in the midsection. Quackenbush bent over gasping for air as Bigelow bounced off the ropes and dropped a double axehandle on his head. Quackenbush fell to the mat as Bigelow got back to his feet and admired his work. Bigelow dropped a standing headbutt onto Quackenbush, but Quackenbush was able to roll out of the way. If that had hit the match probably would have been over. Quackenbush quickly went outside and onto the ring apron. He waited there as Bigelow got back to his feet and once he had he springboarded onto the top rope and flew off with a dropkick that connected perfectly! Bigelow got back to his feet, but was clearly staggered. Quackenbush chopped Bigelow across the chest a couple of times and whipped him into the ropes. Bigelow came back and Quackenbush dropped the larger man with a drop toe hold. Bigelow hit the mat face first and didn't even see Quackenbush get back up and drop an elbow across the back of his head. Quackenbush knew that speed was only his advantage and he was using it to his full extent. Quackenbush got back to his feet and climbed up to the top turnbuckle, facing toward the crowd. Bigelow slowly got back to his feet and did a couple of drunken circles before Quackenbush flew backwards, flipped, MOONSAULT BODYBLOCK!!! BIGELOW CAUGHT HIM!!! Bigelow held him up for a second before dropping him with a running powerslam. Bigelow quickly picked Quackenbush back up, lifted him on his shoulder, and dropped him with the Greetings From Asbury Park. And just like that, it was over. Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Mike Quackenbush with the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:07:33. Rating: ** Bigelow got to his feet and raised his arms in the air, a celebration of his victory. Eric Embry slid into the ring and checked up on Quackenbush as Bigelow stepped through the middle ropes and headed to the back. That's one for the champions. We goto the back as Too Cold Scorpio is with Jyushin Lyger. They are in a locker room and the camera zooms in to see what they are talking about. JYUSHIN LYGER: I know he is upset. But that's no excuse to not try and help his friend. TOO COLD SCORPIO: Listen, he doesn't want you to be the one to win the title. It's as simple as that. He has built it up all towards him. He feels like it's his job. He has to do it to keep his own sanity and now that he isn't getting that shot and there is a chance that you win the title...he can't take it. JYUSHIN LYGER: Yeah, maybe you're right. But I would never leave him out there. TOO COLD SCORPIO: And he won't ever leave you out there either. Just takes him a little bit longer than most. JYUSHIN LYGER: Okay, but, Scorpio, tonight I need to know if you have my back? TOO COLD SCORPIO: You know I do. If anything happens in that cage I will be in there as fast I can. JYUSHIN LYGER: And Chris? TOO COLD SCORPIO: (pauses) Yeah, he'll be there. Lyger gets to his feet and pats Scorpio on the back on his way out of the room. Once Lyger leaves the camera goes back to Scorpio. TOO COLD SCORPIO: He just doesn't know it yet. We now go back to the ring where both Untouchables are already in the ring. No, this isn't a tag match. Corino and Strong are going one on one against eachother. ------------------------------------------ Steve Strong vs Steve Corino ------------------------------------------ This match came about from last week when Corino was fighting Matt Hardy. Matt Hardy won the match and afterwards went a little psycho on Corino with a chair. Matt handcuffed Corino and started to lay into him with chairshots. When things were looking really bad out came Corino's tag partner, Steve Strong. Strong took one look at what was going on and showed his cowardice by running to the back, leaving Corino to be nearly destroyed by the Hardy brother. Corino and Strong had a huge blow-up during the week and this match was signed. The Untouchables collide! Steve Strong tried to straighten things out as soon as he could. He went up to Corino and started talking to him. He even put his hand out in a sign of friendship. Corino looked down at it for a second before nailing Strong with a forearm! Strong staggered back and Corino nailed him with a dropkick! Strong went flying backwards and crashed into the turnbuckle. Corino charged in with a clothesline, but Strong was able to move out of the way. Strong had Corino in the corner and wasn't going to let this advantage go. He started chopping away Corino's chest. Corino took a few of those before Strong started firing away with fists. Corino took a few of these as well. Strong finally had enough of that and pulled Corino out of the corner and whipped him into the ropes. Corino came back at full speed and Strong sent him crashing into the mat with a vicious powerslam. Strong held on for a two count. Strong got back to his feet and exited to the ring apron. He climbed up to the top turnbuckle and perched himself there as Corino tried to get to his feet. Once Corino was up Strong flew off the top rope with a shoulderblock which connected perfectly. Corino fell backwards and smacked his head on the mat as Strong got back to hit feet, dropped a leg across Corino's face, and hooked the leg...but only got a two count again. Strong got to his feet one more time and appeared a little frustrated. He lifted Corino up and whipped him into the ropes and as Corino came back Strong blasted him with a clothesline. Corino fell to the mat and Strong bounced off the ropes and came down onto Corino with a big splash, but Corino rolled out of the way!!! Corino slowly got to his feet and pulled Strong up with him. Corino whipped Strong into the ropes and as Strong came back Corino nailed him with a kick to the midsection, bounced off of the ropes, and dropped Strong with a swinging neckbreaker. Corino made the cover, but was only able to secure himself a two count. Corino got back to his feet and waited in the corner as Strong slowly got to his feet. Once he was up Corino charged in with his Superkick, but Strong caught the foot, pushed it down and went to clothesline Corino, but Corino ducked under it and when Strong turned back around...SUPERKICK! Strong went down and Corino had an easy time picking up the three. Steve Corino pinned Steve Strong with the Superkick in 0:06:13. Rating: -* Corino didn't seem happy with just a victory, however. He exited the ring and grabbed a chair. He entered the ring and as Strong was getting to his feet Corino sent the chair crashing down on his head. Strong fell backwards and landed on the mat as Corino raised the chair above his head. The crowd didn't really know how to re-act. Corino gave Strong a few more chair shots just to get his point across and then dropped the chair and left the ring. The referee bent down to check on Steve Strong as we went to the back. Too Cold Scorpio is now with Chris Benoit and Beulah(!). Was Beulah the girl's voice we heard last week? Scorpio and Benoit seemed to be in a very heated conversation. TOO COLD SCORPIO: I don't care what you think he did to you, you two are best friends. You have to be there for him tonight. CHRIS BENOIT: Listen, I asked him to drop out of the running for the title shot. I wasn't going to hold him back. I would have given him the shot after I won the title. But because of him I am now left watching on as Malenko fights somebody and it should be me!! This is MY match. TOO COLD SCORPIO: I know you may think that, and hell, you maybe believe it. But that doesn't matter right now. What matters is that Jyushin is going to be in the hell in the cell cage with Mike Awesome. We both know Dean Malenko and his goons will be somewhere. CHRIS BENOIT: I really don't know what to tell you. Lyger wanted this. He's got it. I saved him last week, tonight he is on his own. TOO COLD SCORPIO: You know what? You are obsessed with beating Malenko and it's really making you an asshole. Scorpio leaves the room and slams the door behind him. Beulah turns to Benoit. BEULAH: You know you have to help him. CHRIS BENOIT: I don't want to have to hear it from you too. Leave me alone. BEULAH: He's been there for you this whole time. I can't believe you are just going to drop him for something stupid like this. Benoit's head snaps back towards Beulah and looks her straight in the eye. CHRIS BENOIT: This "thing" is alot of things, but stupid isn't one of them. Malenko and I have a history, I have to settle it. I promised I would be the one to take Malenko's title away from him. I promised it to myself. It's the only real revenge I can get. I can beat him, but the only real damage I can do to him is to take away his title. And Lyger is in my way. Lyger may get his revenge, but I won't get mine. We go from that back to the ring for the second part of the singles challenge of the tag contenders. D'Lo Brown was out first with Eric Embry and he received a nice ovation. Brian Lee was next with his 1/2 of the tag titles. The crowd seems to have made D'Lo and Quackenbush the fan favorites in these matches. -------------------------------------------- Brian Lee vs D'Lo Brown -------------------------------------------- This is the second and final match that will preview their tag title match. D'Lo and Quackenbush will face Lee and Bigelow for the titles at Contact. Earlier tonight it was Bigelow with the win over Mike. Now it's D'Lo's turn to prove that they are on the same level as these two huge behemoths. D'Lo and Brian Lee hooked up to start the match off. Brian Lee got the upper hand here with his strength as he pushed D'Lo into the corner. Lee wound back and went to hammer D'Lo with his forearm, but D'Lo moved out of the way and Lee smacked the turnbuckle. D'Lo now had the advantage as Lee was in the corner. D'Lo started firing away with punches to the midsection and then a few to the face. Lee didn't take too much of this before he reached out with both hands and grabbed ahold of D'Lo by the neck. He lifted him high in the air, turned, and threw him right back into the turnbuckles. D'Lo tried to escape again, but this time Lee rammed a knee right into his midsection. That stopped D'Lo as he was left gasping for air. Lee hiptossed D'Lo out of the corner and followed that up with a big elbowdrop. Lee got to his feet and picked D'Lo up with him. D'Lo was still gasping for air as Lee lifted him high into the sky and dropped him with a vertical suplex that shook the ring. D'Lo rolled onto his stomach to block any chance of Lee going for the cover, but that wasn't what Lee had in mind. He picked D'Lo back up and threw him into the ropes. D'Lo came back extremely fast and Lee lifted his boot into the air to catch D'Lo's face, but D'Lo ducked under that, hit the opposite ropes, and came back with a flying shoulderblock that knocked Brian Lee right off of his feet! D'Lo got back to his feet and waited there as Lee slowly sat up. Lee slowly got to his feet, and D'Lo sent him right back down with a dropkick that connected perfectly. Lee was right back up this time, but D'Lo hit another dropkick. While Lee was trying to get to his feet D'Lo quickly climbed up to the top turnbuckle and once Lee was up he flew off and nailed a high crossbody! The ref dropped down to make the count, but could only get a two count. D'Lo and Lee both got right back to their feet and D'Lo charged Lee, but this time Lee was able to get his foot up in time and D'Lo ran right into it. D'Lo fell to the mat, but Lee quickly picked him back up and whipped him into the ropes. D'Lo came bouncing back and Lee was able to lift him up and drop him with a powerslam. The ref dropped down again, but it only got a two. Lee was getting tired of this and signalled for the end. He helped D'Lo to his feet and grabbed him around the neck. He couldn't get the Prime Time Slam off, however, as D'Lo brought his foot up and connected with Lee's private parts. Lee released his grip on D'Lo's neck allowing D'Lo to take a step in, grab Lee under the arms, SKY HIGH! D'Lo wrapped the legs up as the ref dropped down... 1... 2... 3!!! D'Lo Brown pinned Brian Lee after a Sky High in 0:08:12. Rating: * 1/4 D'Lo got back to his feet and started to stomp away at Lee's body as Lee tried desperately to get back to his feet. Meanwhile Eric Embry slid into the ring and also joined in. ("Train" by Blackfoot) You had to know that this wouldn't take long. Out ran Bam Bam Bigelow who slid into the ring. D'Lo saw this and hammered Bigelow. Bigelow fired right back and soon the two men were firing back and forth. This left Eric Embry with Brian Lee, and that is not the best of places for Embry to be. Lee soon was back to his feet regardless of the kicks Embry was delivering. Lee got to his feet and Embry tried a punch, but Lee blocked it and grabbed Embry around the neck...UP AN DOWN! PRIME TIME SLAM! Lee, having dispatched of Embry, went over and nailed D'Lo from behind. Bigelow and Lee took turns beating down D'Lo until Quackenbush rushed down the aisle and slid into the ring. Quackenbush and Lee started firing away at eachother as Bigelow pushed D'Lo into the turnbuckles and pounding on him... ("Natural Born Killaz" by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube) THE GANGSTAS!!! Down ran New Jack with Mustafa Saed. They had their trashcan of doom with them and threw it into the ring. These two are looking for revenge here. Just last week it was Bigelow and Lee beating down both Quackenbush and D'Lo and the Gangstas. Looks like it's time for some revenge. New Jack grabbed a broom out of the trashcan and tapped Bigelow on the shoulder. Bigelow turned around and the broom was cracked right over his head. Bigelow staggered over to another corner and New Jack followed him. He started laying in with some punches followed by a headbutt. Meanwhile Mustafa Saed had dumped the trash can in the ring and grabbed a cheese grater. He walked up behind Brian Lee and started raking it across his forehead. Lee soon had blood pouring down his face. D'Lo joined in with New jack in pounding on Bigelow in the corner, but New Jack didn't like this and turned around and smacked D'Lo. D'Lo fired back. New Jack and D'Lo kept it up as Mustafa continued to rake the grater across Lee's face while Quackenbush fired away at Lee's midsection. ("Fed Up" by House of Pain) The Eliminators! What the hell? John Kronus and Perry Saturn ran down the aisle and quickly slid into the ring. Mustafa saw what was going on and quickly released his cheese grater and ran over to cut them off with no luck. These two teams don't like eachother and that's no joke. Saturn hit him with a quick kick to the midsection and Kronus dropped a double axehandle across the back of Mustafa's head. Kronus got on top of Mustafa and started firing away as Saturn jumped onto New Jack from behind causing New Jack to crash into D'Lo. Bigelow came out of the turner and walked over to where Saturn was hammering away on New Jack along with D'Lo. Bigelow hammered on Saturn and pulled him away, but Saturn started firing away. Bigelow comes back with a big fist of his own and now Bigelow and Saturn are firing away. Quackenbush and Lee were now exchanging fists, but Quackenbush wasn't able to keep up for long and Lee nailed him with a right of his own that sent Quackenbush flying backwards. Finally it was time to break this up as out ran a ton of officials and some wrestlers like Billy Kidman, Too Cool, Sid, Spike Dudley, and Fit Finlay. They all entered the ring and went about trying to seperate these four tag teams. Things weren't going too well, but eventually Embry convinced D'Lo and Quackenbush to get the hell out of there. The Eliminators were the next to leave. But after both of those teams left and things seemed to have calmed down another brawl errupted as New Jack broke free of the people holding him back and jumped onto Brian Lee. New Jack went down with Lee and they both started punching and kicking at one another. Bigelow pushed the men holding him away and ran at New Jack. After a few seconds of this the two teams were seperated again and this time the tag champs, Lee and Bigelow, left the ring. The Gangstas took a few more minutes to celebrate this "fun" time as their music blared in the background. These four teams are on a collision course with one another. Now, we go to the back where we are in a locker room. Dean Malenko is with his masked henchman and the TV Champ, Robert Thompson. ROBERT THOMPSON: What's the deal with tonight? DEAN MALENKO: First we get past Ken. I am not expecting much problems with Ken. He's tough, but I am not losing to that punk. (A door opens and in steps Perry Saturn.) DEAN MALENKO: Where have you been? PERRY SATURN: I had something to take care of. DEAN MALENKO: Alright, but pay close attention. This is what we are doing tonight. (Thompson, Saturn, and the masked man all circle around Malenko and listen as Malenko goes over the plan. Unfortunately it's in a whisper and so we can't hear it.) We now goto Ken Shamrock sitting in a metal folding chair watching the TV. Frank Shamrock is drinking from a water bottle over in the corner. KEN SHAMROCK: Can you believe him? He isn't even taking me seriously. FRANK SHAMROCK: That's to your advantage. KEN SHAMROCK: Yeah, I know, but it pisses me off. FRANK SHAMROCK: Use that. Remember who it was that broke my leg. The reason that I can't wrestle anymore. It's his fault. It's Benoit's fault. Remember that. KEN SHAMROCK: Trust me, I won't forget. You don't screw with the Shamrock family. I am taking him out tonight. Awesome and Lyger better be preparing for me because I'll have the title at Contact. Now to Mike Awesome. He is sitting on a folding chair and putting on his kneepads. CAMERA MAN: Mike, how do you feel about tonight's match? Awesome's head tilted upwards and looked at the camera man for a second. He then got up to his feet. The camera man took a few steps back as Awesome started walking towards him. As Awesome got closer the camera man turned and hauled ass to get away from Awesome. We go back to the ring where Droz is standing. He was awaiting his opponent, but he didn't have to wait long as "Bad Religion" by Godsmack came over the speakers and out came the deranged Matt Hardy. ------------------------------- Matt Hardy vs Droz ------------------------------- Matt Hardy has really changed in these past couple of months. It all started back when he and Jeff were a tag team and were feuding with the Gangstanators (Kronus and New Jack). Matt was scared to death of those hardcore matches and ended up no-showing at As Good As It Gets for their big pay off match. Jeff Hardy was left with no partner and so Billy Kidman stepped up to the plate. Jeff and Billy were successful on that night. From then on Matt kept trying to get Jeff to forgive him. Billy stuck with Jeff and they became friends, but Matt became really jealous. He tried anything to get his brother back and he started wrestling in hardcore matches. And he got his ass kicked. Jeff started making the save for his brother every once in awhile, and eventually they forgave one another. During this time Matt started to not only really hate Kidman, but also to get this weird look in his eyes. He kept up his hardcore matches and he started to turn vicious. He rammed a hockey stick down New Jack's throat. He pulled off Bam Bam Bigelow's fingernails with a pair of pliars. Things were going too far. Fast forward to Drawing of the Four where the Hardy Boys fought Brian Lee and Bam Bam Bigelow for the tag titles in a hardcore match. Jeff and Matt were very close to winning the straps when Matt got that weird look in his eye again and broke a pane of glass over Jeff's head. Jeff is still out due to that injury and Kidman is now fighting for Jeff's revenge. Matt continues to go psycho and we can look back to just last week where Matt went crazy with a chair by crashing it continually over the head of Steve Corino while Corino was handcuffed. Droz is annoying, but I hope he can walk out of here with his life. Droz went to hook up with Matt, but Matt was ready as he instead dropped down and dropkicked the knee right out from under Droz. Droz fell to the mat clutching at his knee. Matt grabbed ahold of one of Droz's legs, wrapped it, and hooked on the figure-four leglock. Poor Droz. Droz was desperately trying to get out of the hold with no luck. This lasted literally about 1 full minute. By the time Matt released the hold Droz as clutching at his leg and screaming in pain. Matt dropped a leg across his neck, got back to his feet, and followed it with an elbow across Droz's chest. Matt picked Droz up and whipped him into the turnbuckles and as Droz staggered out of the corner Matt bounced off the ropes, caught his head, and rammed it into the mat with a bulldog. Droz rolled over onto his back as Matt climbed up to the top turnbuckle, facing towards the crowd, and flew off with a moonsault that connected perfectly. Droz was done for, but Matt wasn't done. He quickly picked Droz back up, hooked him under his arm, turn, TWIST OF FATE! Matt got to his feet and looked down at the unconcsious Droz. He eventually put his foot onto Droz's chest as the ref dropped down to make the three count. Matt Hardy pinned Darren Drozdov with the Twist of Fate in 0:04:16. Rating: * 1/4 Well, that was a squash. But as with most Matt Hardy matches, the interesting stuff happened afterwards. After his victory Matt once again got that glazed over look in his eye. He dropped to his stomach and rolled to the outside. He reached under the ring and pulled out a big, green bag. He slid it into the ring and followed it shortly. Matt rolled the unconcsious Droz over onto his stomach and then put his knee across the back of Droz's neck to stop him from being able to move. He then pulled the bag over and opened it and dumped the contents onto the mat...THUMBTACKS! The crowd started to rise, not knowing what to expect. Matt picked up one of the thumbtacks. He turned it in his hand, looking at it from all angles...AND JAMMED IT INTO DROZ'S EXPOSED BACK!!! We could hear Droz's muffled screams as his face was pushed into the mat. His legs started kicking, but Matt held him still. Matt picked up another thumbtack and jammed it into Droz's back again! And another! Droz was kicking and his arms were flailing, but he couldn't escape Matt's hold. Matt's knee continued to hold Droz in place. Matt had pierced the skin five times now as five thumbtacks stuck out of Droz's flesh. He had put them all in Droz's right shoulderblade. He now went to the left shoulderblade. He got two in before Billy Kidman ran down the aisle with a chair! Kidman slid into the ring and Matt quickly got up and slid to the outside. Kidman looked on as Matt slowly walked to the back, shaking his head. Kidman dropped down and checked up on Droz as Matt got to the top of the entrance ramp. He stuck his left arm straight in the air and his right straight to his right. Almost looking like the hands of a clock when it's 3 o'clock. Kidman watched on from his knees as he checked on Droz. He pointed at Matt and said something we couldn't pick up. Matt's facial expression never changed before he turned and walked to the back. Matt has left another person injured, scarred for life in the pain he has given them. Some more officials ran down and helped Droz from the ring along with Kidman. They were careful not to touch his back. They carried him to the back as the ring crew ran out with a broom and some garbage sacks. They started cleaning the ring of the thumbtacks as went to the back once again. We are in the Shamrock Brothers dressing room. FRANK SHAMROCK: You ready? KEN SHAMROCK: I've been waiting for this for a long time. I'm ready. We go back to the ring where the ring crew is still working and then once again to the back. Lyger is preparing for his match as Scorpio watches on. JYUSHIN LYGER: I've been dying for this moment, but it just doesn't seem right with Benoit not here. TOO COLD SCORPIO: He'll come around. Give him some time. JYUSHIN LYGER: We don't have a lot of time left. I am going out there in a few minutes. TOO COLD SCORPIO: He'll be there if we need him. He is our friend. He is upset right now, but he is still our friend. We can trust him. We are now back in the ring where the ring screw is now finishing up. They rush from the ring as "Unforgiven" by Creed plays. Out steps Ken Shamrock along with his brother Frank. They both walk steadily to the ring. They only have two things on their mind. Dean Malenko and the title he owns. Next was "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath. Dean Malenko stepped out with his WWA World Heavyweight Title around his shoulder. The masked henchman was with him as was Perry Saturn. They all take a quick look at one another before continuing on their way down the aisle. Malenko slides into the ring as Saturn and the masked henchman walk over to a corner as Frank does the same. ---------------------------------------------------- WWA WORLD TITLE!!! Dean Malenko vs Ken Shamrock ---------------------------------------------------- This all started several months ago when Ken, Frank, Benoit, Scorpio, and Lyger were all partnered up in trying to end Malenko's reign of terror. At the end of a Monday Night Terror it was Dean Malenko hooking Frank Shamrock in the Texas Cloverleaf while The Giant held Ken Shamrock and made him watch. Chris Benoit eventually made the save, but not before Dean had broken Frank's leg. Because of that injury Frank isn't allowed to wrestle according to doctors. Ken has blamed this on not only Malenko, but Benoit as well. He thinks Benoit was only thinking of himself and because of that his brother will never be able to wrestle again. Ken has yet to get his revenge. Drawing of the Four was the closest thing, but a wildcard in Raven was able to eliminate him before he could really do any damage to Malenko or Benoit. Maybe now is his time. The match started off with both men coming out of their corner and hooking up. Shamrock dropped down and took Malenko over with an armdrag. Malenko hopped right back to his feet and charged Shamrock, but Shamrock caught his arm and hooked on an armbar. He quickly started to drive knee after knee into Malenko's side. Malenko was in quite a bit of pain here and dropped down onto his back and brought his feet up connecting with Shamrock's chin causing him to break the hold. Shamrock staggered back as Malenko rolled over and got back to his feet. This time it was Shamrock charging Malenko, but Malenko hit his variation of the dropkick that knocked Shamrock down. Shamrock was right back up, but Malenko hit another one of his dropkicks. Shamrock jumped right back to his feet and charged Malenko again, but this time Malenko dropped Shamrock face first to the mat with a drop toe hold. Malenko slid upwards and hooked Shamrock in a headlock, but Shamrock got to his knee and then back to his feet. Malenko continued to hold onto the healdock, but Shamrock somehow slid out the back and hooked on a hammerlock from behind. Malenko fought back with a couple of elbows to the side of Shamrock's head. Shamrock released the hold and Malenko bounced off the ropes, but on the rebound was caught by Shamrock's arms and Shamrock sent him flying over his head with a release belly-to-belly suplex. Malenko hit hard. Shamrock walked over and picked Malenko up off of the mat and threw him into the corner. He walked up to him and started firing away with his fists. He started working on the sides of Malenko and worked his way up to Malenko's face. Malenko was soon slumped in the corner with both of his arms covering his face as he tried to block the blows. Shamrock turned around and rose his arms in the air and started walking away from Malenko, but as anybody who has fought Malenko knows, you never turn your back on him. As Shamrock walked away Malenko shot out of the corner and chop blocked Shamrock from behind. Shamrock fell to the mat, clutching at his knee, as Malenko started to goto work. Malenko dragged Shamrock over to the ropes and draped his leg across the bottom rope. Malenko jumped high into the air and brought his rear right across Shamrock's knee. Shamrock screamed out in pain and tried to escape, but Malenko dragged him back to the ropes and hit the same move. Malenko grabbed ahold of Shamrock's legs and dragged him back to the middle of the ring where he dropped an elbow across Shamrock's leg. Malenko got back to his feet and dropped another elbow. It was obvious he was working towards the Texas Cloverleaf, and now it was getting to the point of how long can Shamrock last. On the outside Saturn and the masked henchman continued to cheer on their man as Frank did the same for his brother. Malenko looked to do some more damage on Shamrock as he grabbed ahold of his leg and turned it, apparently trying for the figure-four, but Shamrock was able to kick Malenko off. Malenko went falling backwards, hit the ropes, and his own momentum sent him flying back towards Shamrock. Shamrock stayed on his stomach, Malenko hopped over, hit the opposite ropes, and came back as Shamrock was getting to his feet. Malenko tried for his version of the dropkick again, but this time Shamrock was ready as he ducked and got the hell out of there. Malenko landed hard on the mat. Malenko hopped back to his feet, but Shamrock was ready as he blasted him with a clothesline. Malenko fell to the mat, but got right back toh is feet. This time Shamrock nailed him with some punches to the head that sent him staggering backwards and into the ropes. Shamrock whipped him to the opposite side and caught Malenko on the rebound with a back elbow. Malenko fell to the mat as Shamrock exited the ring and climbed up to the top turnbuckle. Malenko slowly got to his feet when Shamrock jumped off the turnbuckle, wrapped his legs around Malenko's head, and brought him over with a top-rope frankensteiner! Malenko's head was jammed into the mat and he wasn't getting up very quickly. Shamrock jumped onto Malenko and hooked the leg trying to get the three count. 1... 2... NO! Kickout! Shamrock got back to his feet and picked Malenko up with him. He hurled him over the top rope and to the outside. He exited the ring as well and jumped to the arena floor. Malenko was wandering around the ring, but Shamrock caught up with him and rammed his head into the guardrail. Shamrock followed that up by throwing him into the announcer's table. Peter Bernstein and Colin Ryder both jumped out of the way as Malenko crashed into it. Shamrock grabbed ahold of Malenko and threw him into the guardrail again. Malenko was getting the crap kicked out of him. Shamrock threw Malenko back into the ring. The ref dropped down to check on Malenko as Shamrock climbed up onto the ring apron. Unfortunately for him he had forgotten the fact that Saturn and the masked man was at ringside. Saturn grabbed ahold of Shamrock's feet and pulled him off the apron causing Shamrock's face to smash into the apron as he fell. Shamrock turned around only to be nailed with a chair by the masked henchman! Shamrock fell to the mat as Frank ran around from the other side. He tackled Saturn and started to lay in the punches. Meanwhile the masked man picked Ken up and slid him back into the ring. The ref, of course, had seen none of this. Malenko rolled over and draped his arm across Shamrock's chest. 1... 2... 3!!! That's it. Dean Malenko pinned Ken Shamrock after outside interference in 0:09:22. Rating: *** (Dean Malenko retained the WWA World Title.) The masked henchman quickly rolled into the ring and picked Malenko up. He helped him to the outside where they both pushed Frank off of Saturn. All three men hauled ass to the back with Malenko taking just enough time to pick up his WWA Title. Frank rolled into the ring and checked up on his brother who still wasn't moving. Ken didn't get the job done tonight and Malenko picks up another win. We went to the back where in a dressing room Chris Benoit and Beulah were both sitting in chairs looking at the TV. Benoit's eyes drifted downward when Lyger's picture showed up on the television set. The Lyger versus Awesome picture was on the TV and Benoit couldn't stand to watch. The match that we have all been waiting for was next. Before either man could make his entrance we cut to Winterfest in February. Just 3 months ago these two were locked in a bitter feud. This was the pay-off match and this is the last few seconds of that match. This was the greatest match that the WWA had ever had at that current time. There have been others that have topped it since, but this was a defining moment for not only both of their WWA careers, but the WWA itself. The Gladiator turned around only to be hit with a kick to the midsection. Lyger proceeded to do what many people thought was impossible, he picked him up and dropped him with the Lyger Bomb!!! POP OF THE GODS FROM THE FANS! Lyger limped over and hooked a leg... 1... 2... KICKOUT!!! Lyger was in a state of shock. He picked The Gladiator back up and executed another impressive move, a fisherman's buster!!! The Gladiator's neck looked like it hit at the wrong angle and he wasn't moving at all. Lyger made another cover. 1... 2... KICKOUT!!! WHAT THE HELL!?! The Gladiator won't stay down!!! Lyger was getting very frustrated and picked The Gladiator up again by the hair. He then picked him in suplex fashion, but instead of falling back, he just fell straight down with a brain buster!!! The Gladiator was holding his neck and screaming out in pain. Lyger didn't try for another cover, instead he picked him up again in the Lyger Bomb and started running...RUNNING LYGER BOMB!!! 1... 2... 3!!! We go back to the arena as the crowd is going crazy. These two will lock up again and it will be in a few seconds! And it will be HELL! We goto the back where Jyushin Lyger is standing. Too Cold Scorpio is behind him, but nobody really pays attention. JYUSHIN LYGER: Tonight's the night I prove I have made it to the next step. Tonight's the night that I show what I am really all about. Tonight's the night we find out who goes onto face Dean Malenko for the WWA Title. The only title that means anything. Chris, I know you wanted this shot, and I'm sorry, but it's my time. It's my time right now. Awesome, you and I have had our battles, but this will be the one to end all of the earlier ones. Awesome, I think the WWA deserves a respectable champion. Malenko has been screwing with the whole federation ever since winning that title. I don't feel you would be any better. It's time we had a champion to be proud of. I can beat Malenko. I don't know for sure if you can, and could care less. Malenko is mine. I am doing this for the WWA. I am doing this for all of the people Malenko has screwed over. I am doing this for myself. I deserve this and I'll be damned if I don't follow through. The truth is that I am going into this match expecting pain. I am going into this match expecting suffering. I am going into this match expecting to bleed. I am going into this match expecting to win. Lyger and Scorpio walk past the camera and "Right Now" by Van Halen starts playing over the speakers. The crowd rises to it's feet as Lyger steps out and walks down the aisle. Scorpio is right behind him. Lyger gets all the way down the aisle before stopping, and looking at the cage. He stand there for a moment...looking at the cage. He knows he is in for pain. He knows he is in for the match of his life. This is HIS match. This is it. Do or die time for Lyger. Can he do what he said Benoit couldn't and that's get the job done? Lyger was eventually done looking on and entered the cage. He didn't get up on the turnbuckles or anything, just stood in the corner awaiting his opponent. We cut to the back where Chris Benoit is sitting on a folding chair with Beulah standing behind him. Benoit is watching the TV screen where Lyger continues to just stand there. We see that Lyger bows his head a little from Benoit's TV. Benoit's face never changes. We now goto Mike Awesome who is standing in the back. MIKE AWESOME: I am getting a little sick of this shit. This isn't about any respect. This isn't about justice. It ain't about revenge! Hell, I hate that son of a bitch Malenko. I should be the champion right now if it weren't for his master plan with his goons. But that plan didn't work because I am right back here and I am just one step away from finally kicking Malenko's ass and taking the title that I have been destined to own ever since the start of this federation. No, it isn't about any of that!!! This is about the title. That should be what it's always about. I want to kick Malenko's ass, but that comes second. The title comes first. And to get to the title I gotta beat Lyger. Jyushin, you beat me a few months back, it's my time to show you it was all a fluke. Lyger, all this talk about doing it for the fans, for the WWA, it's all a pile of shit. You just want to beat Malenko. You know Benoit can't beat him, I know Benoit can't, Malenko knows he can't and now the fans know. The only person that doesn't know is Benoit. You feel you are the only option left. The only GOOD option left that is. But what you aren't counting on is the ass kicking I am going to give you tonight. You aren't going anywhere, but to the hospital after this match and you can watch me at Contact becoming the champ. "Come With Me" by Puff Daddy comes over the speakers and the entire arena jumps to it's feet. Awesome steps out from behind the curtain and the crowd goes bonkers. Awesome probably got the louder face pop here. Awesome doesn't take a second to look out at the crowd, he walks to the ring and with a purpose. He doesn't even take a second to look into the cage to see what he has gotten himself into. He simply steps into the cage, the referee joins him and Awesome goes and waits in his corner. Behind them another referee shuts the cage door and proceeds to lock it. The referee puts the key in his pocket and sits at ringside. Too Cold Scorpio watches on as the referee checks with both men. The bell rings. ---------------------------------------------------- HELL IN THE CELL! Jyushin Lyger vs Mike Awesome ---------------------------------------------------- With the bell rung the match was now on. Lyger stepped out of his corner and Awesome did the same. They both walked to the middle of the ring, but as we all were expecting a stare down, including Lyger, Awesome wasn't. He quickly booted Lyger in the stomach, punched him several times causing Lyger to stagger back into the ropes, and Awesome whipped him into the opposite side of the ring. Lyger hit the ropes and came rushing back, but ran right into a big boot. Lyger fell to the mat as Awesome raised his arms in the air. Lyger was back to his feet in a short time, but Awesome pushed him back into the ropes. Lyger came bouncing back, and this time Awesome went for a clothesline. Lyger was ready as he ducked under and put on the brakes. Awesome turned around only to get a kick to the midsection. Awesome bent over gasping for air and Lyger took full advantage by grabbing ahold of Awesome's head and dropping him to the mat with a DDT. Awesome wasn't going to go down that quickly, however, and was easily able to kick out at only one. Lyger got back to his feet and pulled Awesome up with him. A quick whip into the ropes had Awesome shooting off with a clothesline that nearly decapacitated Lyger. Lyger went down, but Awesome grabbed a handful of hair and brought him back to his feet. He quickly pushed him into the turnbuckles and started hammering away. Awesome used those massive fists and forearms to smash Lyger. Lyger tried to walk out of the corner, but Awesome grabbed ahold of him and threw him right back into the corner. Awesome started firing away with forearms to his midsection, up to his head, and then back to his midsection. A knee to the stomach finished the sequence and then Awesome grabbed a handful of hair and flipped Lyger out of the corner. Lyger went flying and landed in the middle of the ring. But Lyger wasn't done! Far from it. He got right back to his feet, but Awesome charged him and hit him again right in the face with a big boot. Lyger fell to the mat as Awesome rose his arms in the air. Lyger slowly sat up and shook his head to get the cobwebs out. Awesome saw he was getting back up and so he helped him up to his feet. But he wasn't doing it for Lyger's good. He lifted him high up into the air with his two hands in a Gorilla Press. He kept him up there for a few seconds and the fans started to applaud. After around seven seconds of this he made a running start towards the ropes and threw him!!! OUTSIDE OF THE RING!!! LYGER CRASHES BACK FIRST INTO THE CAGE!!!! Lyger falls to ringside! He may have broken his back! The crowd jumped to it's feet and ooh'ed and ah'ed as Awesome stepped in between the ropes and hopped to the outside. Awesome walked over to Lyger and gave him a quick stomp to the head before reaching down and picking Lyger back up to his feet. Lyger was wobbily and Awesome had to keep him upright. Things were definately not looking good for Lyger. Awesome picked Lyger back up in a Gorilla Press ... HOLY CRAP! HE DROPPED HIM ON THE RING STEPS!!! Lyger's back has to be in so much pain! Too Cold Scorpio was going crazy on the outside. He ran over to where Lyger was and tried talking to him through the cage, but Lyger obviously wasn't responding. Scorpio kept yelling "Lyger! ANSWER ME!" but Lyger appeared to be too hurt to even whisper. Awesome meanwhile was soaking in the cheers. He took a second to rub his left shoulder, but then walked over to Lyger and picked him back up. Lyger didn't even put up a fight as Awesome rolled him into the ring. Awesome entered the ring with him and dropped a leg across Lyger's neck. Awesome drug his thumb across his neck signalling that it was over. Awesome lifted Lyger back up and put him in position, he got him up onto his shoulder...he is running...LYGER SLIDES DOWN AWESOME'S BACK!!! Awesome turns around and Lyger blasts him with a clothesline!!! Lyger is still in this thing! Lyger backs up a couple of steps and nails Awesome with another clothesline! Awesome staggers again, LYGER CHARGES, Awesome drops down and lifts him back up into the air!!! He has him set up for another Gorilla Press Slam, but he drops him face first onto the top turnbuckle!!! Lyger falls to the mat! Awesome rubs his left shoulder once again, but continues his onslaught by stomping away at the body of Jyushin. Awesome picked Lyger back up and this time went for a vertical suplex which he switched in mid-air by rolling with it, JACKHAMMER! The ref dropped onto his stomach and made the count. 1... 2... NO! KICKOUT! Awesome obviously wasn't expecting the pinfall there as he didn't even try arguing with the ref. He got back to his feet and picked Lyger up. A whip into the turnbuckles followed and Lyger crashed into them hard. Awesome charged in with a splash, but Lyger was able to move out of the way at the last second and Awesome crashed hard, taking the air out of his lungs. Awesome staggered back and Lyger dropkicked him from behind. Awesome's momentum carried him forward and he fell over the top rope and dropped to the outside. Awesome landed in a heap on the outside, but quickly got back to his feet, but Lyger was perched on the top turnbuckle by this time and flew off with a plancha that sent Lyger crashing full steam right into Awesome. Both men fell to the mat and neither was getting up. Lyger did end up being the first man to his feet. He grabbed ahold of Awesome's head and dragged it over to the chain linked fence...and started raking it across the cage!!! Awesome tried to use his arms to push himself away, but Lyger kept up the pressure. When Awesome finally was able to escape the damage had already been done. Awesome was bleeding from above his left eye and his right cheek. Lyger dragged Awesome over to a batch of ringsteps and propped Awesome's head up against the side of the steps. Lyger took a step back, LYGER JUST DROPKICKED AWESOME'S HEAD! Awesome's head was crushed in between Lyger's feet and the steps! Awesome slumped over as his eyes only showed whites. Lyger just stood there for a second, taking a deep breath. He didn't seem to know what was going on. Scorpio walked over on the outside. SCORPIO: Lyger, you okay, man?!? LYGER: I'm ending this. And Lyger motions for Scorpio to get away. Scorpio takes a few steps back as Lyger lifts Awesome to his feet and slides him into the ring. Lyger picked Awesome up and whipped him into the turnbuckles. Awesome crashed into them hard and Lyger charges, KOPPO KICK! Lyger's boot hit Awesome right on his nose. Awesome staggered foward, blood still pouring from his face, and fell to the mat. Lyger wasn't done. He grabbed a handful of hair and brought Awesome back to his feet. He propped Awesome between his legs, lifted him up, LYGER BOMB!!! THIS IS IT! Lyger grabs Awesome's legs and hooks it. The ref drops down. 1... 2... NO!!! AWESOME IS STILL IN THIS THING! Lyger seemed to expect this. He didn't waste time as he got right back to his feet and pulled Awesome up one more time. He propped him between his legs, got him up, LYGER BOMB!!! The second one! Lyger hooked the leg once again! 1... 2... ... ... NO!!!! KICKOUT! This time Lyger seemed a little upset. He sat there and slapped his knees in frustration. He eventually got back to his feet and picked Awesome up once again. He lifted him back up for what appeared to be another Lyger Bomb, but this time Awesome slid down his back! Lyger turned around, boot to the midsection, AWESOME BOMB! Awesome isn't going for the cover! What in the hell is going on? Awesome picked Lyger back up and nails him with a fist and down goes Lyger. Wait a second...who is that coming down the aisle? DEAN MALENKO!!! Dean Malenko is running down the aisle! What is he doing here? Too Cold Scorpio goes over to confront him before he can get to the cage...and ROBERT THOMPSON JUMPS OVER THE GUARDRAIL AND TACKLES HIM!!! He was in the crowd!!! Robert Thompson picks Scorpio up and throws him into the cage! Down goes Scorpio! Thompson starts laying the boots to him! In the back in Benoit's dressing room Beulah and Benoit are still watching. BEULAH: You have to go. CHRIS BENOIT: ... Dammit. And Benoit gets up and runs out the door! Malenko walks over to the cage door. The ref is trying to talk to him and...Malenko decks the ref!! He reaches into the ref's pocket and pulls out a key. He is opening the door! Back in the ring Awesome drops Lyger instead of going for the second Awesome Bomb. He sees Malenko and is motioning for Malenko to bring it on. Malenko has the door unlocked! CHRIS BENOIT IS RUNNING DOWN THE AISLE!!! The roof nearly explodes as Benoit sprints down the aisle! He catches Malenko before he can get in the cage. He turns him around and now the two men are exchanging fists! They are fighting outside the cage! Back in the ring Lyger nails Awesome from behind! Awesome falls through the ropes and Lyger follows him outside ... and Awesome steps out of the cage! We are going to the outside! Lyger throws the very bloody Awesome into the guardrail and turns to face the cage...and he is going to climb up! WHAT IN THE HELL IS HE DOING!? Awesome turns back to face the cage and looks on as Lyger makes it to the top. And now Awesome is climbing up! Where Awesome is getting the strength to do any of this is beyond me. Thompson, meanwhile, has picked Scorpio up and is raking his face across the cage. Benoit throws Malenko face first into the cage and as Malenko turns around and staggers back Benoit takes him down with a lariat. Scorpio starts to fight back against Thompson. Awesome has made it to the top of the cage! Lyger and Awesome are standing on the top of the cage! Awesome punches at Lyger. Lyger fires back. They fight towards one of the corners of the cage. Awesome seems to get the upper hand as he blocks one of Lyger's punches and kicks Lyger in the stomach. Awesome sets him up...he can't be thinking...no...HE PICKS HIM UP ONTO HIS SHOULDER!!! LYGER SLIDES DOWN HIS BACK!!! Awesome turns around, Lyger with a boot to Awesome's midsection! LYGER GRABS AWESOME, UP!!! HE STARTS TO RUN! HE RELEASES!! RUNNING RELEASED LYGER BOMB!!! AND THE CAGE DOESN'T HOLD!!! Part of the top of the cage broke open! Awesome goes through the top and falls to the ring below!!! WHAT A HUGE DROP! After hearing the thud the four men on the outside stop their fighting and look to the ring. They just stand there in awe as Awesome lays there, not moving while Lyger looks down at him from the top of the cage. Lyger looks down with his shoulder's slumped. He steps over to the edge and looks down the hole...he jumps down the hole!!! FLYING ELBOWDROP!!!! CONNECTS! Lyger just jumped off the top of the cage through a hole and to the ring below!!! Awesome still isn't moving! Lyger slowly gets to his feet, but then falls right back down and onto Awesome! The ref drops down! 1... 2... 3!!!! LYGER! LYGER! LYGER! IT'S LYGER AT CONTACT! Hell In the Cell: Jyushin Lyger pinned Mike Awesome after a flying elbowdrop in 0:14:26. Rating: **** Benoit had seen enough as he grabs Malenko from behind and hurls him into the cage again, turns his back, and walks away. Scorpio is jumping for joy and runs around to the door and enters and slides into the ring. Malenko gets his bearings back, looks in disgust, and then turns his back and walks away. Scorpio picks Lyger up and embraces him! Lyger is barely able to stand, but Scorpio holds him up and raises his arm in the air. Awesome continues to lay on the mat. He still hasn't moved after the impact. Scorpio props Lyger up on the top turnbuckle where he can sit. Lyger raises his arms in the air as the crowd goes crazy. Only one man never stopped watching Lyger. Robert Thompson. Robert Thompson's eyes, filled with hatred, never left Lyger. Thompson must be feeling so many mixed emotions right now. But only one was clear. Hatred. But regardless, as the ref raised Lyger's arm once again, it was clear, Malenko versus Lyger, WWA Title, at Contact. It's going to be good. |
