| ("War Machine" starts and we go through the opening video with the following clips: Spike Dudley hitting the Awesome Drop on D-Lo Brown, Too Cold Scorpio nailing the 450 on Fit Finlay, Jeff Hardy blasting New Jack over the head with a guitar, The Extremists standing on opposite turnbuckles, Ken Shamrock putting Frank Shamrock in the Ankle Lock Submission, Saturn dropping Chris Benoit with the Death Valley Driver, Benoit putting Saturn in the Crippler Crossface, Bigelow and Lee executing their finishers from the top rope through tables onto the Extremists, Robert Thompson dropping Jyushin Lyger with the Double Arm DDT, Mike Awesome executing the Awesome Bomb on The Giant, Dean Malenko putting the Texas Cloverleaf on Benoit, and then Malenko holding the World Title over his head.) (We now span over the crowd where people are holding up various signs, alot of them for Chris Benoit. We don't get very far when "Song 2" by Blur starts and out comes Chris Benoit. As soon as he is seen the crowd goes crazy. Benoit slowly makes his way to the ring, letting the cheers sink in. He finally enters the ring and grabs the mic from the ring announcer.) Chris Benoit: You know, I am getting really sick of all this crap. Dean, I know I didn't get the job done at As Good As It Gets. I just wasn't good enough on that night. I acknowledge the fact that you were better than me that night. But what you seem to be forgetting is that I had you in the Crippler's Crossface and had it not been for the interference of Perry Saturn that I would probably be the World Champion right now. (the crowd seems to like this idea.) So before you start gloating about your victory, just remember that had it not been for Saturn and Sid that I might very well be wearing that gold around my waist. Raven, I really have no idea why you are here, and really don't care. You got yourself involved in a three way feud that was already hitting the boiling point, and you just turned it up a couple more notches. You want to get in my way? Well, so be it. I'll take your ass down, hook it in the Crippler's Crossface, and you will be done for. You eliminated Paul Wight this past Saturday, but I won't be that easy. Bring all you got, but it won't be enough. As for you, Ken Shamrock, I have told you time and again that it isn't my fault that Frank's leg was broken. I had absolutely nothing to do with it. I tried to make the save, but I was just a couple seconds too late. Hell, Dean admitted to being responsible, but you still will not believe any of it. Well, maybe I am just going to have to beat it into you. ("War Pigs" by Black Sabbath and Dean Malenko comes out of the entrance way and receives a huge amount of boo's. He has a mic in hand and walks to the ring. He doesn't hesitate as he enters the ring and gets in Benoit's face.) Dean Malenko: Chris, I beat you and that's that. I am better than you and I proved it. There was no way in hell that I was ever going to submit to that Crossface and you and I both know it. I would never submit to you and I would never let you pin me because if I were than that would mean I was wrong. That I am wrong. That you are better, and that will never be true. Chris Benoit: So you think you're better than me? Dean Malenko: Oh, I know I am better than you. (Chris Benoit unbuttons the shirt he was wearing and takes it off.) Chris Benoit: Well then, why don't you prove it one more time. (Dean looks to be ready to do just that when "Highway to Hell" comes over the speakers. Both Malenko and Benoit back up and look towards the entrance way just in time to see Ken Shamrock burst out. He also has a mic and runs down the aisle and slides into the ring.) Ken Shamrock: Don't think this just involves you two. I am in this just as much as either of you. Chris Benoit: Ya, fuck you. Ken Shamrock: Ya, well right back at you. You know that you're just as responsible as Dean for the broken leg my brother received. And I am going to get my payback. Chris Benoit: I don't know what you want from me, Ken. You want an apology? Well, I'm sorry. I had nothing to do with Frank's injury. It was all Dean and you know it. Dean Malenko: You're damn right, it was all me! And I loved every minute of it. Hell, if I could find out where Frank is staying then I would goto his house and do it all over again and re-break it. (Ken turns towards Dean and is obviously holding his anger in. He isn't doing a very good job. In fact Ken makes a few steps towards Dean when "Come Out and Play" erupts and the crowd once again comes to it's feet while the three men in the ring turn towards the entrance way.) Raven: You all really need to find out how to control your tempers. (Raven comes from out of the entrance way with a mic. He walks down the aisle and also enters the ring.) Raven: You know, we have the top four talented guys in this ring right now. The top four wrestlers in this federation, and I bet the ratings are as high as ever. Dean Malenko: So what's your point? Raven: I thought it would be obvious by now. I was hired to do the office's work for them. I was supposed to keep the big three way feud hot. That I have done, and I have done a pretty good job if I do say so myself. Chris Benoit: Oh, great! Now we have a Corporate piece of crap involved. Let me guess, Tully is going to start coming out and signing matches to give you the upper hand. How original. Raven: Oh, I am not doing this for the office anymore. This is for pure pleasure. In fact, I have already told the office today that I will no longer be involved with them. I need no help in defeating any of you that are in this ring. Ken Shamrock: You think you can beat me? Raven: I have no doubts. Ken Shamrock: Well, nobody is holding you back. (We look to be getting ready to have another four way brawl when Commissioner Tully Blanchard steps out from the entrance way.) Tully Blanchard: You know, Raven, you are far more of a pain than we ever could of thought. But I really don't give a damn now. It is apparent that all four of you want a piece of eachother. I have now signed a four way dance for May's Pay-Per-View, The Drawing of the Four. (Catchy name, eh?) Until then you will not see a singles match between eachother. Not one of you. There will be no Malenko versus Benoit or Raven versus Shamrock or any other combination before The Drawing of the Four. As for tonight, I heard Benoit wanted to beat some sense into Ken's head. So for tonight it will be Chris Benoit and a partner of his choosing versus Ken Shamrock and a partner of his choosing. Good luck in finding your partners. (And with that Tully leaves and security comes out and escorts each man to the back before they could get into a fight with one another.) We start this big night off with a TV Title defense as Robert Thompson would defend his TV Title against the man that came close to doing what no other man has done, dethroning Mike Awesome of the Universal Title. -------------------------------------------------------------------- TV Title on the line! Robert Thompson(c) vs Spike Dudley -------------------------------------------------------------------- They started off fast enough with them locking up and Spike pushing Robert into the ropes. He whipped him into the ropes, but Thompson ducked a clothesline on the rebound. He wasn't fast enough the next time, however, as Spike nailed the move as Robert was returning once again. Spike then propped himself on the second turnbuckle and waited only a few short seconds before Thompson was back up and Spike came flying off with a dropkick. Both men were quick to their feet, but Thompson apparently wasn't very effected by the dropkick as he charged Spike and nailed a flying crossbody press, but it only got two. Spike and Thompson both got back to their feet and Spike made a wild swing at Robert, but Thompson ducked under it, hooked Spike around the waist and brought him back with a bridging back suplex. Spike still had enough in him to kick out in two, however. Spike was a little less fast in getting back to his feet after that move, but he was still getting back up. Robert grabbed ahold of him and looked like he was going for a vertical suplex, but Spike blocked it, slipped out and nailed Robert with a kick to the midsection. As Thompson was bent over trying to regain his breath Spike grabbed him and brought him down with a jumping DDT. Spike didn't try for a cover as he pulled Robert back up to his feet. Robert seemed a little out of it at this time, but he apparently was playing a little opossum as Robert leveled Spike on the rebound with a flying clothesline after being whipped into the ropes just a few seconds earlier by Spike. Robert apparently sensed a chance to put a little more punishment into Spike as he grabbed ahold of him and hooked him in a chinlock deathlock submission. Spike was howling in pain as he desperately tried to reach the ropes. It took him a long 19 seconds before finally being able to grab ahold of the bottom rope, but the damage had been done. Robert grabbed ahold of Spike and pulled him back into the middle of the ring and hooked him in a bow and arrow submission. Spike once again was in obvious pain and had no way of getting out of it this time. He refused to submit, though, and soon Robert grew tired of the hold and released the Dudley. Robert kept up the offensive with several different manuevers, and even topped it off with a DDT, but it only got two. Apparently when he hooks the arms of his opponent it causes more damage. Spike found an opening in the later stages of the match as he ducked under a weak attempt at a lariat by Robet and caught Robert with a dropkick on the rebound and the force of the kick sent Thompson flying over the top rope. Spike went to the outside along with Robert and nailed several forearms before sending him crashing into the guardrail. Spike then went under the ring and grabbed a table. He then set it up on the outside of the ring and grabbed ahold of Robert and put him on top. He nailed him several more times before climbing onto the ring apron and then going over to the turnbuckle and climbing up to the top. The crowd was cheering Spike and were all hoping that we would be seeing our new TV Champion. Spike came flying off the top turnbuckle with a legdrop, but Robert moved out of the way at the last moment and Spike went crashing through the table. Spike was down and Robert wasn't going to waste any time as he grabbed ahold of Spike and threw him into the ring. Robert slid in as well, grabbed ahold of Spike, nailed the Double Arm DDT and hooked a leg. 1... 2... 3!!! Robert Thompson pinned Spike Dudley with the Double Arm DDT in 0:09:38. Rating: ** 1/2 (Robert Thompson retained the WWA Television Title.) Robert Thompson holds onto his gold for at least a couple more days in grand fashion. Robert celebrated his win before grabbing a mic from ringside. Robert Thompson: That is exactly why I am the the best damn TV Champ the WWA has ever seen. Not that punk, Jyushin Lyger. Lyger, I beat you at As Good As It Gets and in the process tried to injure you. I tried to injure you just like you did to me. I tried to break your neck. But I failed on that part. However, I did take your TV Title, didn't I? Lyger, I am far from done with you. We've fought several times. We fought at Winterfest along with Owen Hart, we have fought on Saturday Night Heat, we have fought on Monday Night Terror, and we fought at the biggest Pay-Per-View of the WWA, As Good As It Gets. The way I see it I have won one of those matches. You have also won one. The other two, Heat and Terror, really don't count considering my neck was FUCKING broken when I fought you! So the way I see it, it's one to one. We need one more match. We need to put this to rest so I am going to fight you at The Drawing of the Four and not only will I retain my title, I am going to beat you into a bloody pulp and leave you for dead. I am going to get my revenge on you for breaking my neck or die trying. (And with that Robert throws his mic to the ground and leaves the ring. Looks like we have another match signed up for The Drawing of the Four (First person that can tell me where that name came from (Very easy hint: Subtract one to get Roland, Susannah, and Eddie.) will get to pick a match for Heat out of some names I give you.) We were getting ready to go who knows where when "House of Pain" by Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac came off the speakers. Who in the hell....that's Eric Embry!!! He is being followed by Mike Quackenbush!!! And there is D'Lo Brown! What in the hell is Embry and Quackenbush doing here? We would soon find out as D'Lo grabbed a mic from ringside and entered the ring alongside his friends.) D'Lo Brown: I bet alot of you don't even know who these two guys are. Well, they are two of my best friends, Eric Embry and Mike Quackenbush. Eric is a legend in the sport and Mike is one of the best wrestlers today. I have invited them to join the WWA and lucky for me they decided to take me up on my offer. (D'Lo hands the mic over to Eric Embry.) Eric Embry: It's true that I have taken D'Lo up on his offer. I have grown a little too old to be wrestling on a regular basis, but that won't stop me from taking D'Lo and Mike under my wing and teach them how to become the superstar I once was. (The crowd seems a little confused since most of them have never heard of Embry.) Eric Embry: I am going to take them to the top of their game, and not just to singles titles, but to tag titles as well. Hell, have you looked at the current tag team champions. A couple of fat bastards that are just plain horrible. They rely completely on their hardcore ways. I have no problems with going a little extreme on occasion, but to base their entire offense on it is something I just don't understand. And how they became tag team champions is beyond me. So I am calling those pieces of crap out to the ring right now to take on this much better tag team. Come on, Brian and Bam Bam, I know you got the guts. (Well, a tag team does come out, but it's not the tag team champions. It's the former tag team champions, The Extremists! They have returned from their brief hiatus after being destroyed at the hands of Lee and Bigelow! They enter the ring and take the mic out of Embry's hand.) Devon Storm: Now, I know you guys are new here so you may not know the rules. Well, the Extremists make the rules. You see, we lost our tag titles to Prime Time and Bam Bam, and haven't got our rematch yet. I know what you are doing, though. You are going to start calling them names, trying to get them to come out and fight you guys and take away our #1 contendership that is rightfully ours. I ain't going to let that happen and neither is Ace. So you guys just get your asses out of here so we can call out the guys that are walking around with OUR belts. Leave, NOW! (Embry, D'Lo, and Mike seem to think about it for a second before agreeing. Embry goes to the outside and The Extremists turn their back, and this gives D'Lo and Mike the chance to sneak attack them from behind. Mike and D'Lo start pounding on the Extremists and all of a sudden a ref slides into the ring and we apparently have a match.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D'Lo Brown & Mike Quackenbush vs The Extremists (w/Eric Embry) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D'Lo picks Ace up and throws him to the outside, but is then pushed back by the ref and told to get on the outside as well. It appears that it will be Quackenbush and Devon starting things off. Mike has an obvious advantage and picks Devon up and nails a backbreaker. He throws him to the outside and jumps onto him from the ring with a beautiful crossbody press. He picks Devon back up and whips him into the guardrail. Devon staggers off the guardrail and right into Mike who whips him into the stairs. Devon hit the stairs full steam and crumpled to the mat. Mike didn't let Devon rest as he picked him back up and started ramming his head into the ringsteps three times before Ace Darling couldn't take anymore and broke it up by jumping onto Quackenbush with a crossbody and started pounding on him. D'Lo wasn't far behind as he came over and tore Ace off of Mike and leveled him with a clothesline. He picked Ace up and put him up on his shoulder and tried to ram his face into the ringpost, but Ace slid off the back and gave D'Lo a big shove sending D'Lo into the ringpost and knocking himself silly. D'Lo turned around and Ace nailed him with a dropkick that sent D'Lo off of his feet. Back on the other side, Devon and Quackenbush both got to their feet and slid back into the ring. Quackenbush tried the first move as he went for a frankensteiner, but Devon refused to go over and dropped him with a powerbomb. He held on, but only got a two count. Ace had made his way back onto the ring apron and Devon made the tag. Ace came into the ring and grabbed ahold of Mike and nailed a DDT and wasted no time as he sprung himself back to his feet and went straight to the top rope and came flying off with an elbow that connected. He made the cover, but Quackenbush once again kicked out in two. Ace picked Quackenbush up and whipped him into the ropes, but put his head down too quickly and Quackenbush capitalized by nailing a Rocker Dropper that sent Ace's nose crashing into the mat. Mike slowly crawled over to a recovering D'Lo and made the desperate tag. D'Lo came in a house of fire and took an incoming Devon Storm off his feet with a big right and went to nail Ace with a dropkick, but Ace pulled the referee in the way at the last moment and the ref was down. D'Lo didn't let Ace capitalize as he took him down anyways with a savate kick. D'Lo then went to the top rope... ...but "Train" by Blackfoot came off the speakers and out ran the tag team champions, Brian Lee and Bam Bam Bigelow!!! Looks like a couple of teams are going to pay for their remarks. D'Lo saw what was going on and quickly jumped off the top turnbuckle to the outside and went over the guardrail and hid behind some fans. Lee's first target was Eric Embry as he clobbered him with a big boot to the face. Embry went down hard, but Lee wasn't done as he picked Embry back up and Prime Time Slammed him onto the concrete. Bigelow, meanwhile, slid into the ring. Quackenbush had recovered somewhat and tried to charge Bigelow, but Bigelow simply caught him, lifted him up on his shoulder and dropped him with Greetings From Asbury Park. Ace and Devon had a little better luck as a team as they double dropkicked an unsuspecting Bigelow. Bigelow didn't go down though. The Extremists then bounced off the ropes and nailed a double clothesline, but Bigelow refused to go down. It looked as if they were going for another double clothesline on Bigelow, but Bam Bam ducked under and The Extremists ran right into Brian Lee who was right behind Bam Bam! Lee grabbed both of them around the neck, lifted, DOUBLE PRIME TIME SLAM! Both Extremists, Embry, and Quackenbush were all out of it. The tag champs decided to leave at this time to a rather large ovation. D'Lo then popped up from behind the crowd and climbed to the second rope and jumped off with a weak elbowdrop onto Ace. He hooked the leg and the referee, who was slowly waking up, crawled over and made the three count. Mike Quackenbush and D'Lo Brown defeated Ace Darling and Devon Storm when D'Lo pinned Darling after an elbowdrop from the second turnbuckle in 0:06:05. Rating: * 3/4 Mike Quackenbush and D'Lo pulled off a huge win! D'Lo grabbed ahold of Mike and pulled him to his feet and dragged him to the outside. He then grabbed ahold of Embry and tried to wake him up. Embry finally awoke and was estatic when he found out that his team had won the match. All three men walked to the back celebrating while Ace and Devon slowly woke up and were very pissed. Our next match was next so the next match is next! It would be a completely healed up Jyushin Lyger versus Juventud Guerrera! ----------------------------------------------------- Jyushin Lyger vs Juventud Guerrera ----------------------------------------------------- Jyushin Lyger was fired up and looking for a good match, and Juventud was more than willing to give it to him. It started off fast and furious with Jyushin pushing Juventud into the corner out of a lock-up and nailed several chops to the chest that Juventud gasping for breath. Jyushin picked Juventud up and set him on the top turnbuckle and climbed up as well. He lifted Juventud up and brought him flying back down to the mat with a perfect superplex! Jyushin was on fire! Juventud didn't stay down as he slowly made his way to his feet. Jyushin quickly took him down with a crossbody, but the cover only got two. Juventud was back up and faster than before. Jyushin tried to take him down with another flying crossbody, but Juventud ducked out of the way of this one and Jyushin hit nothing but mat. Juventud picked Jyushin up and dropped him with a DDT. Juventud exited the ring and stood on the ring apron apparently waiting for Jyushin to get back to his feet. Once Jyushin was back up Juventud springboarded himself onto the top rope, did a somersault, and landed a dropkick! Juventud just hit a springboard somersault dropkick and the crowd was going crazy. The move really didn't do all that much damage though as Jyushin was getting back to his feet. Juventud would have none of it as he bounced off the ropes and blasted Jyushin with a clothesline to take him down. Jyushin got right back up, but Juventud nailed another and Jyushin once again went down. Juventud had other plans for Jyushin as he picked him up and threw him to the outside. He then bounced off the ropes and charged at Jyushin, who was on the floor, jumped over the top rope and hit a somersault plancha!!! Simply amazing! Juventud was a little slower in getting back to his feet, but still had it in him to pick Jyushin up and looked like he was going for a powerbomb, but Jyushin used all the strength he had left to backdrop him to counter the move. Both men were becoming quite a bit more slow as they re-entered the ring. Juventud got in the first few moves as he nailed several forearms that pushed Lyger into the ropes. Juventud took the oppurtunity to whip Jyushin into the opposite ropes, but Juventud put his head down too early and Jyushin nailed his koppo kick to a defenseless neck and head. Jyushin picked Juventud up and lifted him up on his shoulder...RUNNING LYGER BOMB! Cover! 1... 2... 3!!! Jyushin Lyger pinned Juventud Guerrera after the Running Lyger Bomb in 0:06:09. Rating: *** 1/4 Jyushin Lyger with a very hard fought victory. As he was celebrating he didn't see Robert Thompson slide into the ring with a chair. Robert crashed it over the head of Jyushin and then started ramming it into Jyushin's neck. Juventud Guerrera got back up and saw this and started applauding Robert and jumping up and down. That didn't really matter to Thompson as he crashed the chair right over Juventud's head as well. Robert continued to crash the chair all over the body of Lyger until Chris Benoit and Too Cold Scorpio ran out and chased him off. They seemed very worried, but Lyger apparently was okay and walked to the back with the help of Benoit and Scorpio. (We now cut to the back where Matt Hardy is standing, apparently having something to say.) Matt Hardy: Well, for all of you that don't know, I talked to Jeff tonight and he said he appreciated the gesture on Saturday, but it still wasn't enough. He couldn't forgive me for leaving him high and dry. But that's okay. I am going to do it again. I am going to prove to Jeff that it will never happen again. I am going to fight in another hardcore match tonight. In fact, it is next. I, once again, have no idea who my opponent will be, but dammit, I don't care! I am going to get Jeff's respect back. I am doing this just for you, Jeff! I hope you can forgive me after this and dump that no good Kidman and we can become not only tag team partners, but brothers once again. Even if I have to suffer through...extreme blood loss! Me being rammed into some sharp metal object and my skin parting and blood seeping out through a cut in my head and blood pouring over my face and...and... (Matt doesn't say anymore as he throws up all over the floor. He heads out of his locker room while holding his hands over his stomach in obvious pain.) Matt Hardy came out of the entrance curtains not long after. He was still holding his stomach and had a little bit of vomit on his shoes. Whoever is his opponent probably won't be looking forward to being kicked. We soon found out who his opponent would be as "Train" by Blackfoot comes off the speakers and out comes the tag team partner of the man he fought on Saturday, and one half of the tag team champions, Bam Bam Bigelow!!! May God have mercy on Matt Hardy's soul. ------------------------------------------------------- Hardcore Match Bam Bam Bigelow vs Matt Hardy ------------------------------------------------------- The bell hadn't even rung before Bigelow charged Matt and nailed him with a clothesline that sent both men flying over the top rope and to the outside. Bigelow landed on his feet while Matt wasn't so lucky as his head hit the concrete with a sickening thud. Bigelow picked Matt up and threw him over the guardrail and climbed over as well. They were now with the fans. Bigelow whipped Matt into the guardrail and Matt screamed in pain as he hit. The fans were swarming the two men, offering objects. Bigelow grabbed a keyboard(!) from a fan and crashed it over the delirious Matt Hardy. Matt didn't go down so Bam Bam simply hit him three more times and finally Matt fell to the ground. Bigelow let some cheers sink in before he tried to pick Matt up, but Matt had recovered somewhat and nailed a low blow on his way up. Bigelow was hurt and Matt tried to capitalize by springboarding himself onto the guardrail and came flipping off with an Asai Moonsault, but Bigelow caught him and dropped him in a powerslam that knocked the wind completely out of Matt. A cover only got a two count, however. Bigelow seemed a little agitated at this, but picked Matt up and threw him back over the guardrail and into the ring area. He climbed over as well ans picked Matt back up. He threw him into the ringpost that knocked Matt into loony land. Bigelow threw Matt back into the ring and was only a step behind. Matt tried to get in a clothesline, but Bigelow simply ducked out of the way and whipped Matt into the turnbuckle and came charging in with a big splash. Matt was pancaked in the corner! Bigelow dragged Matt over to the ropes and whipped him in. Bigelow tried a clothesline as did Matt and both men went down. It was, surprisingly, Matt Hardy that got to his feet first and nailed Bigelow with a DDT. Matt got right up and jumped onto the top turnbuckle then came off with a flying legdrop and made the cover. 1... Kickout! Not even a two! Bigelow got back up shortly, but Matt hit a clothesline that sent Bigelow flying over the top rope and to the floor! Matt went to the outside as well only to walk right into Bigelow who grabbed him, lifted Hardy over his head, and dropped him on the concrete with a Gorilla Press. Matt was screaming in pain while Bigelow just stood there and laughed. Bigelow picked Matt up and threw him down the aisle. He started chasing after Matt, but picked up a frying pan from one of the fans on his way. Matt tried to make an escape, but Bigelow caught up with him and nailed him with the frying pan. Matt fell to the mat and Bigelow propped the frying pan right onto Matt's face before dropping a diving headbutt right onto the frying pan and Matt's skull. Bigelow hurt his own head in the process, but kept up the offense. He picked Matt back up, but Matt was ready as he kicked Bigelow in the midsection and brought him down with a swinging neckbreaker. Matt picked Bigelow up and they started to exchange punches as they continued to head towards the back. Eventually they got there and then they started heading up the stairs in the back!!! They got to the first floor, and Matt tried a dropkick, but Bigelow ducked out of the way and dropped a splash on the fallen Matt Hardy. 1... 2... NO! Matt got a shoulder up somehow! Matt and Bigelow were starting to slow way down and they went up another flight of steps and were now on the second floor! The crowd was once again all around them and Matt snuck a frying pan into the brawl and nailed Bigelow with it several times. Bigelow staggered around before Matt hit a dropkick that sent Bigelow falling down the stairs. Bigelow landed on the first floor with a big thud and medical attention quickly ran over to check on him. Matt would have none of it as he started fighting off the EMT's. This gave Bigelow enough time to get back to his feet and wallop Matt from behind. Bigelow then took a a chair that just happened to be setting aroud and folded it up and crashed it over the head of Matt three times. Matt fell over into unconcsiousness. He was also busted wide open. Bigelow decided to climb onto a table that was nearby and went for a diving headbutt off the table, but Matt somehow found it in him to move out of the way and Bigelow hit his head on the concrete. Bigelow was completely out of it and Matt was moving! Matt got up and saw that Bigelow was out and looked to be ready to make the cover until a drop of blood fell in his eye. He reached up with his hands and felt around his forehead and realized that he was busted wide open. Matt's eyes got really big and he started screaming! He ran over to the ref and started yelling that he needed some help. Here we go again! The ref told him that he had already taken out all of the EMT's. Matt started screaming that he needed a doctor to the fans nearby and told them to help him, but they just laughed him off. All this time Bigelow was recovering and snuck up behind Matt. Bam Bam tapped Matt on his shoulder and Matt turned around only to be picked up by Bigelow and dropped with the Greetings From Asbury Park! Onto the concrete! Bigelow made a sloppy cover by simply sticking his boot on Matt's chest and the ref dropped down to make the count. 1... 2... 3!!! Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Matt Hardy after the Greetings From Asbury Park in 0:15:06. Rating: *** 1/4 Bigelow decided he wasn't done though. He went over and grabbed the table that he had tried to hit a diving headbutt off of and brought it over to where Matt was. He picked Matt up and looked to be going for a powerbomb, but Jeff stopped it by crashing a chair right across Bigelow's back! Bigelow arched his back in pain and Jeff crashed the chair over his head. Bigelow went down while Jeff picked Matt up and put him over his shoulder and ran away just as Brian Lee showed up and checked on his partner and yelling that this isn't over. (We cut back to the ring just in time to hear "Come With Me" and out comes Mike Awesome to a huge ovation. He enters the ring and grabs the mic from David Penzer rather forcefully. Penzer goes so far as to complain to Mike, and Mike responds in kind...a boot to the midsection and an Awesome Bomb for Penzer to a huge pop!) Mike Awesome: In case you didn't understand, that was my apology. I really don't understand this piece of shit federation I am in. It is obvious that I am the toughest, meanest, and most devastating guy in this fed. I can kick anybodies ass that I want too and everybody here knows it. We have Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Ken Shamrock, and Raven claiming to be the best in the WWA and apparently the WWA believes it because they keep getting these main events. They keep getting all the big matches. But I can kick any of their asses at any given time. I am stuck down here without any competition. Nobody that I have fought has had a chance against me. But what do they do? Instead of signing Awesome versus Benoit or Awesome versus Shamrock they just leave me off the entire card. Soon the WWA will realize that I am the best wrestler they have, that I could take that World Title anytime I want, and that there is nobody in any federation that can take me. So... (And Sid steps out from the entrance curtain!!! He has a mic!) Sid: So I hear you want a little competition. You want a challenge. I hear that you think you could take the World Title off of Dean Malenko. I think maybe you are getting a little ahead of yourself. I mean, who have you beaten? Droz? There's a tough one. David Taylor? Yeah, he puts up one helluva fight. So lets just see what you really got. You and me, Heat, Universal Title. I will show you that you don't have what it takes to even mention Dean's name, let alone be in the same ring with him. Mike Awesome: Sid, you want a piece of me? Well, fine, you got it! I am going to prove to you and everybody in the back that I am what I say. I will destroy you on Heat, retain my gold, and then, maybe then I will get some respect around here. (With that Sid leaves as does Mike Awesome shortly thereafter.) (We now cut back to Chris Benoit in the locker rooms.) Chris Benoit: Finding a partner was easier than I thought. I knew who I wanted as soon as Tully said I could have my choice. Luckily my partner agreed to it. Ken, I am going to beat some sense into you and I have one helluva partner to help. (We cut back to the ring where all three men are in the ring for our next match, a three way dance!) ------------------------------------------------------------ Nova vs Perry Saturn vs Too Cold Scorpio ------------------------------------------------------------ Things started off fast as Scorpio hit a double clothesline on both men as soon as the bell rang. He started to lay the boots into each man and was really starting to goto work. Saturn eventually got to his feet and tackled Scorpio down and they started rolling around the mat trying to beat the crap out of eachother. Nova wasn't far behind as he tore Scorpio off of Saturn and threw him into the ropes and caught him with a Frankensteiner on the rebound. Nova turned around, but walked right into a Saturn Frankensteiner. Saturn springboarded himself onto the top rope and came flying off with a legdrop right onto Nova and made the cover, but before it even got to two Scorpio broke it up. Scorpio picked Saturn up and threw him to the outside and used the ropes to springboard himself to the outside and on top of Saturn with a plancha. Both men down with a crash. Nova meanwhile was getting back up in the ring and saw both men down on the outside and decided to climb up the top rope. Saturn and Scorpio both got back to their feet and started exchanging blows and didn't even see Nova jump off the top rope and nail both men with a somersault plancha that hit both men and all three down. It was Saturn getting up first, surprisingly, as he picked Nova up and threw him into the ring. Saturn slid in as well and whipped Nova into the ropes. Nova ran right into a back elbow. Saturn went down and hooked him in the Rings of Saturn! Nova was screaming in pain, but Scorpio had entered the ring and for some reason broke up the count. Saturn got up and was pissed. He started bad mouthing Scorpio, but Too Cold would have none of it as he hit a savate kick that knocked several teeth loose. Saturn went down and Scorpio made the cover, but Saturn kicked out in two. Scorpio got up, but walked right into Nova, who was waiting for him, and Nova nailed Novacaine!!! Scorpio was out, but Nova wasn't done. Nova went to the outside and climbed on top of the turnbuckle and was preparing to jump off when Saturn stopped him by hitting the ropes and Nova crotched himself. Saturn went over to Nova and picked him up off the turnbuckle around his shoulders...DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! He made the cover! 1... 2... 3!!! x Saturn beat Nova via the Death Valley Driver in 0:06:14 Scorpio was still a little woozy from Novacaine and had just enough strength to get to his feet, but he walked right into Saturn who nailed him with a headbutt. Scorpio staggered back and hit the ropes and then shot off them like a bullet and took Saturn's head off with a lariat. Scorpio grabbed ahold of Saturn by his arm and dragged him over to the turnbuckles. Scorpio went to the top and raised his hands in the air to a big ovation. Scorpio went flying off the top rope with the Tumbleweed, but Saturn moved out of the way! Scorpio hit nothing but mat and was definately hurt. Scorpio basically bounced right back to his feet, but was grasping at his ribs. He walked right into Saturn who picked him up and dropped him with the Death Valley Driver and made another cover. 1... 2... 3!!! x Saturn beat Scorpio via the Death Valley Driver in 0:09:53 Triangle Match: Perry Saturn defeated Super Nova and Too Cold Scorpio: x Saturn beat Nova via the Death Valley Driver in 0:28:14 x Saturn beat Scorpio via a tiger suplex in 0:30:53 Rating: * 3/4 Perry Saturn with a huge win and gives some momentum to Dean Malenko. Saturn was happy with his win, but didn't even see Mike Awesome slide into the ring from behind. Saturn turned around and saw Awesome. He didn't have time to try a move or run away as Awesome nailed him with a kick and then set him up between his legs....AWESOME BOMB! Mike Awesome pretended to kick some dirt onto Saturn's corpse before walking away. Moments later Sid and Malenko came out to check on Saturn. Malenko seemed literally scared for the first time in a long time while Sid was just pissed. Once the ring was cleared it was time for the big main event. ("Song 2" by Blur signalled the entrance of Chris Benoit. He came out to a thunderous ovation. He entered the ring and then "Highway to Hell" came off the speakers and enter Ken Shamrock! He also got a huge face response. THe crowd obviously loves both men. He entered the ring and grabbed the mic.) Ken Shamrock: I found my partner, and believe me, he is one of the most underrated in the business. Chris, I think you know him from some history you two had a couple months back. Hit his music! ("Breathe" by Prodigy and Benoit's mouth drops open. It's Billy Kidman!!! (Brief history note: The history Shamrock is talking about is that when Benoit was still with Malenko and the Giant he was told to injure Kidman by Malenko. Benoit refused. Kidman took this as a sign of friendship, but Benoit stopped that quickly as he attacked Kidman on the very next card proving that it wasn't injuring Kidman that he was bothered with, but that he was TOLD to do it.) Kidman slid into the ring and shaked hands with Shamrock and got ready for battle. Benoit meanwhile ripped the mic out of Shamrock's hands.) Chris Benoit: I have a feeling things are going to get a little bit confusing here in the next seconds. Hit MY partner's music! (Some people were thinking that maybe he had picked Kidman as well, but instead "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson started up and Kidman twisted his head back to the entrance curtain so fast that I am surprised he didn't have whiplash. JEFF HARDY WAS COMING DOWN THE AISLE!!! Jeff Hardy seemed very surprised to see Kidman out there with his opponent. Hardy slid into the ring and went right up to his friend and they started to exchange some words. It ended with a handshake and both men going back to their respected partners. Benoit and Shamrock both weren't happy with the show of respect and started to talk down to his partner. It ended up with Kidman and Benoit in the ring first and the match was underway!) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ken Shamrock & Billy Kidman vs Chris Benoit & Jeff Hardy ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Chris Benoit and Kidman hooked up and Benoit easily overpowered Kidman and pushed him into the corner and delivered thre consecutive chops to the chest that was heard all over the arena. Benoit basically just started to clubber the hell out of Kidman in the corner. Forearms, punches, chops, and it all had force behind it. Kidman was soon leaning on the turnbuckles to stay on his feet as he was out of it. Jeff Hardy decided this would be a good time to enter the ring as Benoit fell on all fours and Hardy charged Kidman, jumped onto Benoit, and came jumping off with Air Hardy onto Kidman! Kidman staggered forward and fell over Benoit. Kidman slowly got to his feet, but walked right into another chop to the chest from Benoit. Kidman's chest had started to turn red by this time. Ken Shamrock had had enough of this as he entered the ring and charged Benoit and tackled him to the ground. Benoit and Shamrock rolled around the ring and started to beat the hell out of eachother. Shamrock ended up hooking Benoit's arms somehow and started to ram his head into Benoit's head. It wasn't a pretty picture as soon both men were bleeding on their foreheads in numerous places, but Shamrock refused to let up and soon Benoit started bringing his own forehead up to meet Shamrock's. They were ramming their heads together while blood poured down their faces. If something didn't happen in the next few seconds both men might of suffered some serious injuries, but luckily for them something did happen. Hardy and Kidman forgot all about the match and ran over to their partners. Kidman tore Shamrock off of Benoit while Jeff dragged Benoit back to their corner. Jeff rolled Benoit to the outside and Kidman talked to Shamrock and told him to go outside and cool off. It looked like we would be seeing Kidman versus Hardy for awhile. Jeff Hardy and Billy Kidman started it off fast as they locked up and Kidman pushed Jeff into the ropes and pushed him off. Jeff though jumped onto the middle rope and came jumping off with an Asai leg lariat! The crowd appreciated this move quite a bit. Hardy was up in a flash and picked Kidman up so as to not let him get any rest. He whipped Kidman into the ropes and nailed him with a dropkick on the rebound that sent Kidman falling between the middle ropes and to the outside. Hardy was ready as he bounced off the ropes again and jumped over the top rope and hit Kidman with a running somersault plancha! That move appeared to of knocked both men completely out as they weren't moving. The ref went to the outside to check on the two fallen men. But the camera cut back to the ring. Benoit's eyes were on fire and Shamrock was definately in a rage. It wasn't pretty seeing Shamrock, having blood drip down his face, looking at Benoit with murder in his eyes while Benoit was doing the same. The finally couldn't hold it in any longer and both entered the ring at the same time and went right after eachother. Blows were exchanged, but neither man would let the other get the upper hand. They soon went from blows to chops then to slaps and then to headbutts. The cuts on their heads were soon opened back up again. The ref finally realized what was going on and re-entered the ring and told them to get to their corners, but that was met with a punch from both men that knocked the ref completely out. The two continued to brawl and fell in the ropes and to the outside. But they wouldn't let up as they brawled down the aisle. Out of nowhere came Dean Malenko who joined in by smashing Benoit from behind with an axehandle and started to lay in the boots. Bad move, Dean. Shamrock tackled Dean to the mat and started to lay into him. Enter Raven! Raven tore Shamrock off of Malenko and nailed him with a few punches. Soon all four men were back up and exchanging blows and fought all the way to the back. We then cut back to the ring where Jeff and Kidman had been wrestling again apparently. Jeff has Kidman set up on the top rope and hits a top-rope Frankensteiner. A cover didn't get a count as the ref was still out. Jeff picked Kidman back up and whipped him into the turnbuckle and charged in, but Kidman jumped out of the way and Hardy rammed himself into the turnbuckle. Kidman caught him staggering out of the corner and dropped him with a release German Suplex. Kidman ran over to the turnbuckle and springboarded himself on top. He perched himself there apparently awaiting Hardy to get back to his feet. Hardy eventually got back to his feet and Kidman came jumping off the top rope with a dropkick, but Hardy ducked under and Kidman hit nothing but mat. Hardy once again made the cover, but no ref. Hardy picked Kidman up and grabbed him as if going for a DDT, but no! HARDY CUTTER!!! Another cover, but the ref still wasn't there to make the count although he was starting to move. Hardy had enough as he picked Kidman up and went for a powerbomb (I wonder if it is going to work?)...Kidman of course counters it with a faceslam and Hardy was down. Kidman wasted no time as he dragged Hardy over to the turnbuckles and started to climb to the top rope. The crowd started booing and Kidman looked out at the crowd and seemed to be a little confused, but he soon realized why as Matt Hardy had run out with a chair and crashed it into the back of Kidman causing Kidman to flip forward and fall onto his back as Jeff moved out of the way. Jeff slowly got to his feet as did the ref at the same time. He apparently didn't realize what had gone on as he picked Kidman up and nailed him with another Hardy Cutter and made the cover as the ref slowly crawled over and made the count. 1... 2... 3!!! Chris Benoit and Jeff Hardy defeated Ken Shamrock and Billy Kidman when J. Hardy pinned Kidman with the Hardy Cutter in 11:02. Rating: *** Matt entered the ring and started to celebrate, but Jeff soon put the pieces together and asked Matt what the hell he was doing. Matt raised Jeff's arm as if to say it was for the victory, but Jeff would have none of it as he ripped his arm away from Matt and went over to Kidman and tried to help him up. We then saw something we have never seen in Matt's eyes before. His eyes started to glaze over and he looked like a complete psycho. He started to lift the chair and even had it over his head as he was standing right behind Jeff with the chair raised above his head and then his facial expression changed and he lowered the chair and left the ring while Jeff continued to help Kidman up.
