The Gladiator vs Steve Corino

Steve Corino got to try and get some revenge tonight by wrestling The
Gladiator here in the first round of the TV Title tournament. Not
surprisingly The Gladiator dominated again and won another match with
his Awesome Bomb.

The Gladiator pinned Steve Corino with the Awesome Bomb in 0:14:33.

Too Cold Scorpio vs Owen Hart
----------------------------------------------------
The next match had Owen Hart doing battle with Too Cold Scorpio in
what promised to be a huge match. However, it was filled with
interference. Ken Shamrock came out at about the 13 minute mark to try
and get to Owen, but D-Lo attacked him from behind with a chair. D-Lo
then continued to lay the boots to Shamrock while Owen looked on
laughing. This cost Owen, however, as he was hit by a thrust kick from
behind. Owen was knocked silly which allowed Scorpio to climb the
ropes and prepare for his Tumbleweed. Dean Malenko was the next man
out though. He was held back by security, but it distracted Scorpio
long enough for him to jump off the top rope and start arguing with
Malenko. As soon as Scorpio turned around he was caught in a small
package which gave Owen the victory. Owen ran off celebrating with
D-Lo Brown, leaving a bloody Shamrock, while Scorpio ran after Malenko.

Jyushin Lyger vs Billy Kidman
----------------------------------------------------
Billy Kidman showed why he is possibly one of the best lightweights
in the world by taking Lyger to the limit. It was Lyger, however, who
walked away with the win after hitting his Running Lyger Bomb.

Jyushin Lyger pinned Billy Kidman with the Running Lyger Bomb in
0:09:47. Rating: ** 1/2

Robert Thompson vs D-Lo Brown
----------------------------------------------------
D-Lo Brown had quite a bit of trouble with Richard Thompson and it
eventually took a pair of brass knuckles followed by a
spinebuster slam to give D-Lo the win.

The Gladiator vs Owen Hart

The next match had "Main Event" written all over it as The Gladiator
went at it with Owen Hart. Owen and The Gladiator put on a match for
the ages and it was most definately the best match we have seen in the
WWA. In the late stages of the match The Gladiator had Owen setup for
the Awesome Bomb, but out walked Jyushin Lyger! The Gladiator saw this
and let go of Owen. Owen saw the oppurtunity and climbed to the top
turnbuckle quickly. The Gladiator was bad mouthing Lyger, but as soon
as he turned around he was hit with a missile dropkick. Owen hooked a
leg on the stunned Gladiator and scored the 3 count!!! Huge win for
Owen Hart as it takes him to the finals of the TV Title tournament.

Owen Hart pinned The Gladiator after a flying dropkick in 0:18:46.

Jyushin Lyger vs D-Lo Brown
----------------------------------------------------
Jyushin Lyger then went at it with D-Lo Brown. We might see a tag team
final if D-Lo were to win. However, that wasn't meant to be as Jyushin
Lyger took the win after his Running Lyger Bomb in about 12 minutes.
[Semi-Finals]:
Jyushin Lyger pinned D-Lo Brown with the Running Lyger Bomb in
0:12:17.

Jyushin Lyger vs Owen Hart for the TV Title

We were finally ready for the finals as it would be Jyushin Lyger
versus Owen Hart! This was a very even matchup and it showed as both
got in their share of offense. At about the 11 minute mark Owen Hart
hit the referee with a lariat after Lyger ducked. This sent The
Gladiator and Ken Shamrock out!!! Shamrock, who still had blood stuck
to his face,
started attacking Owen while The Gladiator entered the ring and went
right after Lyger. D-Lo Brown quickly ran out and got Shamrock off of
Owen and those two brawled all the way back to the locker rooms.
Meanwhile The Gladiator nailed Lyger with a Running Awesome Bomb. The
Gladiator helped Owen to his feet and put him on top of Lyger!!!! The
Gladiator is leaving! Owen picks Lyger up...belly to belly suplex! The ref
is up!
1...2...3!!! OWEN HART IS THE TV CHAMPION!!!The Gladiator helped Owen
to his feet and... HUGGED HIM!!! The Gladiator then left while Owen
celebrated. Not only is Owen the TV Champ, but The Gladiator may have joined forces with
D-Lo Brown and Owen Hart!

Owen Hart pinned Jyushin Lyger after a belly-to-belly suplex in
0:12:29.
