I was really close to my great-uncle.  He passed away when I was 13 of Cancer.  I remember he used to pay me 20 dollars to mow his lawn and he would never let me finish.  Instead he'd just take me out and finish the lawn himself and still pay me the money.  He was probably one of the few people that I could talk to during that time about anything.  I regret not coming to visit him the last few weeks of his life.  I think I was too scared that if I didn't go, that it was going to be easier on me.  He passed away and I didn't go to his funeral either.  I didn't want to say good-bye.  It was the first person that I was close to that passed away.  I was upset and regretted it.  A couple of days after that, my great-aunt invited us all to her house.  She was going to move to a smaller place.  The least thing I could do was show up there.

Sorry for the emotional part of the story but I didn't want to tell this story unless you guys knew how much I loved the guy.  Anyways, they were all in the dining area and I had to use the bathroom.  It was a couple of rooms away.  Their bathroom was connected to the bedroom.  After I went to the bathroom, I went to my aun'ts bedroom and it was all empty.  The desks and stuff have all been cleared up but they left a chest set with mirrors because they were going to sell it or something.  I looked at the mirror and I swear to you, I saw my uncle standing behind me.  He wasn't distorted or anything, he was just normal.  He wasn't transparent or in any scary positions, just standing there.  I glanced behind me real quick but there was nothing there.  I ran out of the room and didn't tell my family about it.

I told my friend Greg a while ago and he's really interested in the paranormal stuff.  He told me that this was my uncle's way of saying good-bye to me.
