I shall attempt to deal with questions that we have for and about God, as God relates to Human beings and the worlds around us. As broad as that may be, it shall be my intention to reveal what I have seen,experienced learned; and I shall try to make the connection with those things that are difficult for me to get personal experience and knowledge about. And because I don't have very much direct contact with enough people and the questions that they have, for me to make a valid statement concerning any answer that I may offer. I shall attempt to field their questions from my mind and the limited experiences that I have had in the past.
We as human beings have and do wonder just what God is all about and how can we prove it. One of the greatest questions that I see arising in the hearts and minds of many people both believer and non-believer in God, is the question of time. With all that we know from a scientific point of view, seem to say that man, the earth and animals are much older than the seven days of creations say. The question is: if the dating methods that we have indicate that the earth, animals, and man is much older that six days, and seven day or six thousand years of man and woman, and the seven thousand years of creation indicate, we can ask of God, how can we prove that The bible is true? Faith is a personal thing and if one chooses to believe that one thing is true over another that is their choice. However, when it comes to The bible, Jesus Christ and God, it is important that what we believe of what God has spoken and written, they those things must agree.
The bible says that when Jesus sent the disciples out to proclaim the word of God, that God was working with them confirming the word with signs following...." And they went forth, and presched every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following." I believe that if there was ever a time the word of God need to be confirmed or proven it is the time in which we live now, in the year 2001. We as people have grown so weary with so much stuff, both religious and secular.
We are daily bombarded with so much information that it is impossible to process it all.It is so hard trying to find the truth; and when some measure of truth is found it is just as hard trying to prove that it is indeed the truth.
The questions about God, the one true God arises in the hearts and minds of many believers, no matter what the approach is that they take in getting to God whether they be Christians, Jews, Moslems, Hindus, Agnostics, or Atheists.
We know within our hearts that all life is connected, but just how we are to proceed from that point has caused much confusion and disagreement, and conflicts

What does it mean in Genesis when God said: " Let us make MAN IN OUR IMAGE and AFTER OUR LIKENESS,.... Genesis 1:26-28"?
ANSWER:
First, I want to say that I see a number of things going on in this passage. One, The question of who or what is "God"; two, the question of who or what is "man"; three the question of who or what is referred to as "our"; and fourth, the duel questions of what is the "image", and "likeness", of God, that is spoke of in the first chapter of Genesis?
I believe that the answer to these question are vital to Humans understanding God, themselves, and all creation. So let me attempt to begin to give the answer to these questions. I attempt to keep the main thought and subject together; the content of the page will develop and change or evolve and as it unfolds.
To me the very term God can only mean there is one. Anything and all things that claim to be god will fall under the one God. In the King James version, Romans 13:1 says: " Let every soul be subject unto the higher power for thers is no power But of God , and the powers that be are ordained of God."
I believe that God only share God's power with a purpose. Therefore one of the bigest challenges before humankind is to find out what is the plan and purpose of God in all that exist.
