My Dear Mr. Hewell,
I am happy being able to inform you that your son is safe and in a few days will be quite recovered from his recent experience concerning which you will have learnt before this reaches you.
Be assured he and all the boys are in kindly hands. I count it a privilege to have seen and ministered to him, he is cheerful having only a slight ailment therefore do not worry be thankful. Address as directed before sailing.
With kind regards yours
____ H. A. Pringle.
