STONE ANCHORS found in lebanon BY JOSEPH CHARBINE(bronze age east mediterranean stone anchors)
I HAVE SPEND 4 YEARS  ON  STUDYING THE STONE ANCHORS FOUND DURING MY DIVING IN LEBANON.
                                             
these are some of my picture

                                                 ANCHORS TYPES
-Weight anchors: they weight  at least 50 klgs , ancient mariners relayed on their weight  for anchoring ships
-Sand anchors: pierced by wooden sticks to create a drag effect  on the sandy sea floor.
-Composite anchors: big (between 30 and 100 klgs) pierced by wooden sticks , they can be used  for rocky and sandy bottom sea floor.
