| This is a picture of my primary classroom during my experience at Menomonie High School. It was a fairly simple room with a TV, Computer and a salvaged projector. It worked fine it just could not be touched, otherwise the bulb would burn out. This one shows the lab half of our classroom. This prototype lab was primarly used during the Energy Technoloy course. Projects ranged from paper cars, heat capsules, robotic arms, whooping sirens, and engine disection. The next two pictures are a view of the metals fabracation lab, down the hall from the main classroom. This lab is equiped with four lathes, two mills, six SMAW welders, two GMAW welders, all the tools necessary for sheet metal, and green sand casting. |

| The next three pictures are of the "modular" classroom. This is where my Exploring Technology 7th and 8th grade classes were held. The 7th grade classes, however, used the modular activities you see on the outside perimeter of the room. The activities encompass the following areas in eight stations: manufacturing with a robotic arm, light waves and lasers, circuits, alternative power, transportation/planning a trip, building a car, building a rocket, flight simulator, ortographic and oblique sketches, C.A.D. designing, planning a video, shooting a video, and editing a vedio. The next two pictures are of the upstairs lab. This is where my 8th grade Exploring Technology class built and tested their world's largest golf tee and balsa wood bridges. The Adaptive Technology class, where I team taught with Mr. Dallman had activities such as: foam and wood cars, transportation collages, boat hull design and construction, vacume forming, injection molding, ice cream making, and paper air planes. |
