Riding the local CCAT transit bus to San Luis Obispo from Atascadero, California is very pleasant. On April 18 I brought my MtBike to run errands. April 19 I left the bike at home to attend a 3 hour movie, "Lord of the Rings"; again on CCAT bus with my MtBike on the front rack to bike on errands and shopping in SLO on April 30, 2002; and another errand run on May 6, taking in more familiar and some new sights going and coming back: Four SLO Trips combined in Yahoo Photo Album. It begins with a beautiful day at home, a view and passing our gardens, bus stops and sights thru town, along the old El Camino Real (The King's Highway from Spanish days) thru Santa Margarita and onto Hwy 101 freeway over the Cuesta Grade under Cal Trans construction to and around San Luis Obispo. This tour is a breath of fresh country air.
