Special Unit '2002' is a designated task force of SPI (Spirit & Paranormal Investigate) in the law enforcement department, ridding the human world of evil deeds of haunting spirits via an execution team comprised of a man a ghost.
Being a psychi, Tide (Nicholas Tse) is joined by Sam (Sam Lee), a lingering spirit who lends his supernatural abilities to the cause of law enforcement. As Sam's time for reincarnation is approaching, his career with the '2002' unit is also coming to an end. Tide is learning that Wind (Stephen Fung), a human being with he psychic power of supernatural vision, is destined to be his new partner. Though gifted, Wind is ironically too scared of the dead to contribute during combats. Tide is entrusted by the late Sei Po to take care of her grand-daughter Rain (Rain Li) who is in the hospital. Tide takes Wind along and go to visit her. While Wind shows tender care for Rain, Tide also falls in love with nurse Danielle (Danielle Graham).
As for Alex Fong, he is acting as a Water Ghost who takes average against Tide and Wind for his girlfriend, Fire Ghost who had been killed by Wind during a fight. |
