| I chose to present Litercy in my life by the different strands of a woven mat, guafak. The woven mat illustrates, to interpret, Litercy in my life. Each strip/strand contains a crucial moment of literacy throughout my life. If you notice the strands of an intricately woven mat overlaps in many different areas. Literacy in my life has overlapped tremendously to create a foundation, demonstrating how my skills have acquired in my younger years, have carried out through my life. The foundation that was set continued to evolve, and still does to form the person I am today. Only to get better, more beautiful and improved. |

I have learned that Literacy in a person's life is continuous, never ending. Many of life's experiences through reading, writing, speaking, listening, and other forms of literacy have shaped the person I am today. |
