| Selected IT/C Projects
- Advising a major European construction company based in Zurich, Switzerland, in a private bid to receive voice and data communications services by one telecoms operator on a global basis. I subsequently represented this client in a complex negotiation held in Zurich with a leading VNO (Virtual Network Operator) based in Germany. - Advising a major international telecommunications equipment group originally based in Canada in connection with the co-ordination of the due diligence and related regulatory advice previous to the execution of the agreement for the supply of telecommunications equipment with a leading Spanish 3G operator (at that time the largest supply agreement ever executed in Spain). - Advising one of the leading US enginneering companies in the drafting and suibsequent negotiation of complex engineering agreements with a major Spanish utility company concerning the installation and related services of a controlled distribution system in a certain power plant located in Galicia, Spain. I also advised this US client in a complex project concerning the installation and related services, as well as the import of the necessary industrial equipment from USA and Europe, of a controlled distribution system for a refinery located in Mexico. . Advising a leading Spanish telecommunications operator in drafting and gathering the necessary documentation concerning the Spanish communications legal framework and the potential legal issues regarding their fixed telephony and wireless local loop (WLL) businesses within the framework of its subsequently failed quotation in the US Nasdaq. - Advising a leading UK manufacturer in the negotiation of complex agreements for the provision of maintenance and repair services by a Swedish company in respect of certain routers installed at shopping centres throughout Spain, and automated-teller machines (ATMs) installed in one of all the brach offices fo a leading Spanish bank. |
