James Murdoch to take on big role at News Corp

James Murdoch, the son of Rupert Murdoch is take control of European assets of News Corporation.

This year he was appointed non-executive chairman of BSkyB and put in charge of News Corp's Asian and European operations, but this is another step up.

Rupert Murdoch said 'This is the right time to align our operations in Europe and Asian under new, structured group leadership'.
