Process:
Week 1 - Interview
· You
will be broken into group of 3
· Choose
which profession your group wants to take on; auto body manager or day care
supervisor
· Choose
a place for your interview – use the following websites to help you choose
· Set
up a time for the interview with the supervisor or manager
· Formulate
10 well developed and thought provoking questions relating to the safety of the
cleaners used in their workplace
· Organize
and complete a write-up of the information learned from the site that you
visited; include place, location, time, and person interviewed
· Using
the web sources provided, begin to research possibilities of green cleaners for
your work site
· Make
a chart using a table in Word or Excel to include possible cleaners, both toxic
and environmentally friendly
o Include
cost, cleaning ability and environmental impact; air, water, human
Week 3 – Develop Presentation
· Now
that you have interviewed a professional in your field and completed research
about green cleaners and their cost, your group will decide “the environmental plan”
for your day care or auto body shop
· This
proposal will be presented at the end of the week in a creative manner;
Bulletin board, Interactive, Power Point are some directions you could choose but
not limited to
· Make sure your work is cited in APA from any source that was used
