Gardeners, I just bought a copy of Burpee's The Complete Vegetable & Herb Gardener, and it's superb!  My head is spinning, but it's because I'm trying to process all the great info from this book.  Every page, every paragraph is oozing useful garden knowledge.  Stuff we gotta' know!
What's in this great volume?  I'm learning about crop rotation, transplanting, starting seeds, garden layout, space-saving ideas, etc.  That's just the first couple of chapters!  At the back of the book there's a detailed description of all your favorite vegetables, and the ones you won't eat too.  The emphasis throughout is on organic gardening with information on open-pollinated and heirloom seeds plus seed saving techniques.
      I recommend Burpee's
The Complete Vegetable & Herb Gardener to every serious gardener.  Place it high on your "to read" list.
