| I saw a toad in the middle of the road It looked like a frog until it spoke In a voice that sounded a little bit hoarse I had to look around to find the source I turned around when it said Something about how I was in bed Yes, this tiny toad was no less Than the beautiful fairy-tale princess! I wondered how it got that way It was a frog yesterday and a toad today "Never mind how!" the toad it said "I'd rather be a human instead" I thought I would have a fit But I closed my eyes, prayed to the skies And I kissed the toad on the lips The taste it was kinda bad I tried to ignore all the warts it had Yet when I drew away a toad it stayed Not even a frog like yesterday I hate it when things don't go as planned The damn toad even peed in my hand I threw it down on the ground There are other princesses somewhere around I consider myself very unfortunate To have kissed a toad on the lips |
