Peace And Love
No, I'm not anymore
It's like throwing away a toy
That I've grown too mature for
It's like curing a poison
That helped me once, but hurt me then
Are people made of poison?
Damn, some sting
And some are already stung
But there's those that learned when they were young
That it isn't about religion
And it isn't about money
It's about peace and love and...
Peace and love

I gave my freedom away
And for awhile was glad to be a slave
But slavery takes its toll, to the slaves
Not the masters
And next thing you know
You don't want to be fake
Do you want to be fake?
Damn, some do
And most already are
But there's those that learned it from the heart
That it really isn't about your God
It isn't about your opinions
It's about peace - and love

I can't understand
Why anyone would willingly throw away free choice
And conform to the bullshit myths
That are no more than child's toys
And willingly restrict their souls
For a child's game of "big guy
It's a big guy up in the sky!
And I'm gonna go to paradise when I die!"

Newsflash: when you die, you're dead

But adults believing myths
Won't let that into their head
And they'll keep on believing it's all about God
And a book and a heaven and a saint
Are what's important in this life
But it isn't about me
And it isn't about you
And it isn't about myths
Or about what's "true"
It's all about peace and love
Peace and love
