| I wrote this song about Two little amazing white porcelain lovebirds Sitting on my bedside table Both so still, both in love As close as they are able To get without moving enough Only together when they go together When I push them toward each other But always staring at each other Through loving eyes that will last forever Whether facing each other Or facing away They are still in love Cause lovebirds are always that way And if they argue, I wouldn't know Cause they keep it quiet Maybe I should try that And they ignore the petty slashing prose I wish they could talk Or at least, I could hear words Cause they look so perfect Like, well, like two lovebirds Everybody can't help but see The lovebirds kissing in a tree Even though they're porcelain and can't move Well, they're cute together Those two lovebirds At least that's what they all say Cause he's so strange And they're glad he's out of the way And she's some bird they didn't know But they figure deserves him anyway Well, this song is about Two little amazing white porcelain lovebirds Sitting on my bedside table Too perfect for words Too complicated for labels Close till they're broken Broken together Like they lived together As close as they were able Sitting on a bedside table |
