Ivy
You are ivy
And you drive me
From the bounds of sanity
Lost behind you and along you
I've been lost since you climbed on me
I'm dead and abandoned, wrecked and torn

But you are ivy
Climbing on me

You are ivy
Dying outside me
Creeping up my tallest walls
Seeping through my traps and pitfalls
Running loose on a wild war
Against my naked pillars

But you are ivy
Climbing up me

You are ivy
Starting to hide me
Away from your surface tides
I've been flowing and long since drowning
And until now I've never been crowned
With a wreath of trailing leaves

You are ivy
Climbing in me

You are ivy
Climbing beside me
Onto every brick of my wall
All this straw, inflammable and weak
And my foundation - crumbling leaks
You're changing me and making me...

But you are ivy
Climbing on me
You are ivy
Climbing...up me
