| It all began when Erlirose flew to Augusta to visit Jordan and attend his Signal Corps Officer Basic Course Graduation and Dining Out Ceremony. Erlirose was looking forward to attending the Dining Out, since she loves to dress up and get her hair and makeup done. Little does she know, this wouldn't be another ordinary dance they would be attending. It was going to be a night she will never forget. Later that evening when they arrive at the ceremony location, she noticed that everyone around seemed to be looking at her and smiling. She thought to herself, "wow I must look really pretty tonight!" She had no idea, these people knew what would happen that night. After enjoying a funfilled evening of mingling and listening to guest speakers, the night came to an end. Since it was still early, Jordan asked Erlirose if she wanted to take a walk at the Savannah River Walk and enjoy the rest of the evening taking pictures while they were still dressed up.As they were walking to the car, the weather began to get really cold and they decided to just go home. When they arrive at the apartment, Erlirose wanted to dance because they didn't get a chance to dance at the ceremony. The song playing was "Beautiful As You" by All For One. When the song was over Jordan decided to repeat the song, so they continue dancing. As they are dancing, Jordan begins to tell Erlirose something...he has a problem. Jordan suddenly starts telling her things between them aren't working out and living far apart from each other is too hard for him and hurts him too much. Huh?! Erlirose doesn't understand at first. What is he talking about!? Jordan just starts telling her how much he loves her, but it too hard and things between them are not working out. Erlirose is trying to understand what is going on and she begins to cry. She tells him she loves him too, and they will make things work like they always have. Jordan tells her no, not this time. Erlirose's starts crying harder and harder and feels as if her heart is breaking. "Why can't it work, why are you breaking my heart, you PROMISED you would ALWAYS take care of me and you would love me , you PROMISED." she yelled back at him. Jordan would just reply "Its too hard, we can't make it work, we can't keep things the way they are, I want to make it official." Erlirose can't stop crying and can't believe the love of her life is about to break up with her." To her surprise, Jordan goes down on one knee and says "Erlirose, would you do the honor of being my wife" while holding up a beautiful diamond ring in a little green box. Erlirose was shocked! She was absoluting speechless. While staring at the engagement ring, she looks back at him, and shouts out "Yes, I'll be your wife!" She hugs him, as they tumble down to the floor. Jordan had really pulled one on her, she was totally fooled into thinking he was about to break up with her. Although Jordan made Erlirosecry for the wrong reason in the beginning, the tears of sadness became tears of joy. This is truly a night neither one of them will ever forget. | ||||||||||||
