| Murray is a home grown Albertan from the Bentley area, who now resides with his wife, Charlene, and three children in Red Deer, Alberta. Murray plays harmonica and guitar and sings as well. God has blessed him with many talents which include writing his own songs and music. At the convention of the Country Gospel Music Association (CGMA) in July of 2000, Murray was honored to receive an award for "Songwriter of the Year" (Canadian division). He has written such songs as "Touched by the Master" ~ "Tripod, the Three Legged Dog" ~ "Once and For All" ~ "Chicken Wings" and many more.
