| Playing For The Master 1. That old guitar is silent now, it's just a piece of wood Without the hands that knew just how to make it sound so good. Its owner has departed to a land with music sweet That no ear on this earth will hear until the Lord they meet. Chorus: He's playing oh so sweetly for the Master Every note a symphony of praise Exalting Jesus King of Kings forever Basking in God's glory as he plays. 2. Memories are so precious from when laughter filled the air. A tear of joy comes to my eye for good times that we shared. My heart is longing for the day when once again we'll smile And it will seem like we have been together all the while. 3. My friend you've been so priceless and special to my heart. It's difficult to say goodbye now that you must depart. But I know where I'll find you, on that peaceful shore afar Playing music with the saints of God, on a gold guitar. Created by Murray K.
