The Natural Way
I never thought that I would be sustaining my life vehicle just on water and alfalfa alone.
I spent the bulk of my life working quietly away in shops on the south side of town in Midland, Texas.  All the chemicals you are around when you are not at an office job really makes you appreciate the outdoors and what nature has to offer. From oil on your clothes to gasoline on the carpet of your vehicle- you get tired of the modern scientific formulas that mankind has destroyed this planet with. I used to shower with Joe's hand cream (the grainy kind) because I would come home from work a different color. Over time you really start to appreciate the natural way of life.  You see those people that have a glow to them and you wonder what their secret is.  They say that our bodies are our temples that house the spirit of God in us.  Growing up I did not take care of my life vehicle.  For starters I use to be a chain smoker.  That alone I would like to write a book on.  But you have to love yourself in order to love the God within you.  How can you love others if you do not love yourself first.  THE NATURAL WAY is a kind of life that most people find it hard to adjust to.  But coming from pioneering blood I love the idea of going out back to the garden to pick a pepper or two without the thought of the vegetable being caked in acid rain or watered with near by street run off with anti-freeze in it.  The idea of an environment that is natural is a task that will challange the species of our planet when I am long gone from this world.  I know that there are people out there in this world that labor to clean this planet up from what modern society has done to it when the rest of the world is out there having a good time you are taking apart landminds in some third world country and for that I thank you.  If we are a product of our environment than what are we?  It is amazing to see how many cars are manufactured on this planet in a years time frame.  There seems to be more and more things out there than mankind keeps producing that this planet does not really need.  From the waste of indusrtialism to the heating of the ozone layer, I think that the generations to come after us will be using sun block 5,000,000 if something is not done within the next few decades to alter the course of human history.  I know that back in the 80's here in Midland, Texas there were things alive and crawling that you do not see today.  The migratory patterns of the birds have changed along with the storm patterns of the monsoons.  You know when change is in the air for you can feel it in your bones.  Some people would like to call it the signs of the times, others the end of the age, I think that I would call it the great awakening that many of the native american prophecies have talked about.  Even though the world may come to an end, in times pass there has always seemed others that have survived to advance the progressive societies of civilization. Like the olden prophets that talked about the coming of the Lord of Hosts, I know that God put life on this planet knowing that it would go through changes every 10,000 years.  To see that advanced societies of the past disappeared without any history to give us, I think the greatest history book that mankind could ever read is the earth itself.  If only few would study her for the betterment of mankind.

The ancients had a code.  They had a loyalty that could not be penetrated.  They had the one thing that modern man has betrayed.  It is called simplicity.  When you see how the nature reacts to the changes that are put upon it, you realize that the universe is ran in harmony.  The moon does not argue with the earth as is makes its path across the sky.  The earth never fights with the gravity of the sun, it just revolves in its given nature.  The same can go for Mother Earth. To see that the human body is a product of its genetics that came from the briny waters of the ocean in the course of evolution long ago, that the bodies that we dwell in are a product of star dust and cosmic fog- I know that we to are earth. The gift of life is to be able and feel that universal recognition that we are all part of this gigantic universe that the Father of all created us for. But to share it with others is the gift of life.  To recognize the fatherhood of god and the brotherhood of man in this life while under the atmosphere of this planet is a passion that I would like to be a part of the rest of my life.  I think that if one man had the whole planet to himself with no one else to share it with, the lonliness alone would be of that extreme quiteness that deadens the human soul to want to engage upon the creativity of serving the human brotherhood.  Something about the complexity of the modern world that beats upon the shoulders of the common man. This get back to the basics feeling is emerging within spirt born souls scattered throughout the globe. Almost as if everything in the world cannot measure up to what is longing in the souls of men.  That feeling to belong to a world when in reality you are not of the world.  To find others to relate. Finding yourself.  For once you find yourself you find the God that dwells within you.
