Many other signs therfore Jesus also performed in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these have been written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.  And many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written in detail, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books which were written.

GOSPEL OF JOHN
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.  Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor...  Bless those that persecute you, bless and curse not.  Never pay bacvk evil for evil to anyone.  Respect what is right in the sight of all men.  Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

BOOK OF ROMANS

BOOK OF II CORINTHIANS
Difficult Times Will Come

But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.  For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self control, brutal haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; holding to a form of godliness although they have denied its power.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but wanting to have their ears tckled, they will accumilate for themsleves teachers in accordance to their own doctrines, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
