The religion of Jesus fosters the highest type of human civilization in that it creates the highest type of spiritual personality and proclaims the sacredness of that person.
This was the first picture that I ever had of the image of this man called Jesus.
I never thought that the night I asked Jesus Christ into my heart at a church in Roswell New Mexico while under a severe asthma attack that I would find the life and story of him from the Jesus Christ to Jesus the Christ to The Holy Spirit to Michael to Christ Michael of Nebadon to Joshua ben Joseph. To discover the Spirit of Truth deep witin my soul at times when that was the only light guiding me. I know that this Sovereign that reigns over an entire universe is still the human that experienced what it was like to struggle as a genuine common lay man on this planet that I am now on.   I never thought that througout my lifetime that I would come to understand how beautiful it is to have a personal relationship with not only our Creator of this universe that we live in but also the spirit of Joshua ben Joseph in our hearts.  I can remember first feeling that akward mind play when I began to read the Urantia book.  There were times that I had to go out for a walk and just get down on my knees and say:

"PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY JESUS AWAY FROM ME
I believe in the power of the spirit of Christ Jesus. I am learning to believe in myself again. I think that my mother would have to be one of the most religious people this world has ever met.  Even in her fanatasicm at times I know that her prayers have always been hear from the higher up. She is one woman that all of her life spent more time in church or on the phone talking to prayer warriors then anything else.  I do not know where her religious side came from but she is set in a field of her own when it comes to her spirituality.  We spent more time as kids church hopping around the region always trying to follow the Lord.  I can remember one time on our way to Odessa from Midland on highway 191 there was a bad storm heading our way.  The wind was blowing hard and the hail stones began to batter the car windshield- all of a sudden she began to pray and rebuke the storm and it slowley began to disipate.  The next day we drove back and saw where on one side of the highway where the storm was -the land was torn up then came the highway dividing the two fields.  On the other side it was as green as could be. We spent a lot of our childhood bouncing around to all these different churches.  I was exposed to the teachings of Christianity at a very early age. That was the time when in Roswell the 70s to 80s movement of (the Jesus spirit) was strong amongst the many. She always had all these different pictures of this man on the wall and there always seemed to be some kind of gravity draw to him.  There would be nights that my asthma would be so bad that I would cringe on my stomach while putting my knees into the fetus position looking at this picture on the wall wondering if he could help out a little bit since his picture was such a big deal in the churches that we had seen him in.  I wish I could have known that his name was Joshua the Christ when I was a kid, it probably would have made more since. I used to love to hear the music in the churches when I was a kid. I never could understand why these buildings were positionaed all throughout the many different towns just to be occupied for a few hours on one or two days of the week.  Then to walk into these neat looking buildings and see all these different pictures of a man that loved men. A man at that time that was considered a prophet with 12 other men that was some kind of cult.  Interesting to think that Jesus was not a christian.  A man that spoked the truth. A man that loved his people for who they were and not for what they meant to society. A man that I would grow to have a deeper relationship with over the years that I would come to know him as Joshua ben Joseph the Michael son of our world. And I think that it is awsome that he allows us to refer to him as our elder brother. Why not have a human being as our creator of the heavenly universe that we reside in.
The quote is true:  "The religion of Jesus is the most powerful unifying influence the world has ever known."
