| My husband wants us to get wellies for the winter Reply 1 Hello there. I find this all very interesting indeed. My wife and I have also been experimenting with wearing wellies recently. I must admit, it was at my own request. I simply found the image of a beautiful, vulnerable, women, in a pair of clumsy, rubber wellies, drives me crazy. I love it, and don't mind admiting it. I understand that you find if strange now, but once you are able to enjoy the feeling of rubber against your naked feet and legs, you'll enjoy walking around in public so much more. Just remember, you look amazing in them, and your husbands are having the time of their life over such a tiny thing. Humour us men that love, and if you one day feel happy to, post some pics onto the websites for boot lovers. Your husbands will be very proud, and you'll feel good too Reply 2 I think it is a reasonable decision by your husband to buy you a pair of wellies. Perhaps there will be some embarrassing moments for you if you have to wear the wellies in an "unsuitable" environment (shopping, cinema etc.). Take it like a big girl! Anyway you should take the chance to go with him to the shop and try to get some influence about the decision which type of wellies you will get because you are going to be a lot more embarrassed in childish wellies. |
| Reply 3 My husband also has a love of wellingtons and often makes me wear them. He can be very insistent, but I like wearing them because I know it pleases him and causes me no harm. I am sure your friends will not see anything wrong in you wearing wellies they will probably think you are being sensible. My advise is to go to the shop with your husband, at least you will get a say in what colour you will have to wear. Reply posted by Carla Thanks for your advice. | Reply I have 4 pairs of Dunlop wellies, red with white soles, blue , black and navy with red soles. You shouldn�t worry about your friends because I am sure they also wear wellies sometimes. I don�t mind wearing them because I know I am pleasing my husband. I wear them for walks in parks and woods etc also for the garden. I sometimes wear them for shopping and going to work when the weather is really bad. I am sure your husband will be grateful to you for putting your wellies on for him. Lesley.
