How old was I when I first wore turned over rubber boots? I find the sight of a guy in turned down rubber boots incredibly exciting especially if they are a pair of black knee boots with canvas lining. One of the lasting images of my childhood is of a chap who used to work down the road at the River Board (now NRA) yard - he wore slightly turned down Uniroyal Century boots and every time I saw him I had to go to the lav for a private wank. But although I have regularly tried turned down rubber boots throughout nearly forty years and from about the age of eight, I don't personally like turned down boots. I prefer my boots at full height and the higher the better. Having said that the pictures of you (I presume) in turned down Bullseyes on the web pages drove me to pull on my old pair of Bullseyes and turn the tops down and have a wank! I am sat at the keyboard in turned down Bullseyes as I type this. However this desire to emulate any guy I see in rubber boots happens all the time - I only have to see a BT worker in Century 3000s and out come my pair for the evening. Why turn down the tops? Well I have partly answered that question - it is to emulate the horny image we have seen of another guy in turned down wellies. But why do they turn down wellies? Why buy kneeboots and turn them down when you can buy shorter boots? It seems to me, after talking with one or two others about this, that turning down the tops is to stop them flapping about round your knees especially if you have thin bony legs. When required the wellies can be turned up to protect against deep water or snow. My legs are far from thin and bony and I quite enjoy the flapping of a loose welly top just under my knee - especially the noise they make. I positively dislike tight fitting wellies like Hunters. I also find the coloured trim and label are part of the rubber boots image - a sort of rubber boot status symbol - and to hide the trim and label by turning down the rubber is almost sacrilege but that is a personal thing. Whilst I might give others, yourself included, a treat by wearing turned down boots my selfish nature dictates that I give myself maximum pleasure, rather than please other welly voyeurs. |
| To Turn or not too turn over the tops of boots Rubber boot wearers don't all enjoy turning over the tops of their boots. Here are the views of some boot lovers. What do you think ? |
| In Canada we don't turn the tops of our boots down. Perhaps one or two boys did and I must admit, I rather liked the look of it, but most of us did not. I think it was the parental don't ruin your boots thing with some, but for me, it was the more rubber showing the better, the higher the boots went the better and I couldn't bear to harm that beautiful black rubber or hide that wonderful red stripe that went around the tops. So whether, knee high or hip high, my rubber boots are always worn in their highest possible position. |
