| 21/09/02 Clifton White V RR Leisure An early missed penalty by Jeremy Moran set the trend for a disappointing first match of the season for Rolls-Royce Leisure Under 8s in the Young Elizabethan League. Moran shot wide in the 14th minute and Clifton rubbed it in by converting a spot-kick of their own three minutes later before going on to win 2-0. The home side netted again during first-half injury time and also hit a post early in the second period. But Rolls had their moments with Moran, Ashley Johnson and Aaron McAleese all going close and man-of-the match Jack Walker looking good. |

| 5/10/02 RR Leisure V Wollaton Yellow Late goals from Jack Walker and Jamie Cheetham earned Rolls-Royce Leisure Under 8s a 2-2 draw at home to Wollaton Yellow in the Yound Elizabethan League. Rolls trailed to two first-half strikes and would have been further behind but for a cracking save by keeper Glynn White. But as they fought back, both Aaron McAleese and Kieran Shortland went close before both Walker and Cheetham struck from corners. |

| 19/10/02 RR Leisure V Meadow Colts Relieved Rolls-Royce Leisure Under 8s picked up their first win of the season in the Young Elizabethan League's Yellow Division by pipping Meadow Colts 3-2. Rolls looked good from the off and eased into a two-goal lead by half-time thanks to Jamie Cheetham and Dale Hyslop. Meadows drew level within five minutes of the start of the second period thanks to Luke Jeffers and Alex Meehan. But up popped Jeremy Moran with Rolls' winner. |

| 2/11/02 Vernon White V RR Leisure A second-half goal-blitz propelled Rolls Under 8s to a 5-1 victory at Vernon Whites. It was only 1-1 at half-time before Aaron McAleese restored their lead with a super strike and then came three more goals inside five minutes from man-of-the-match Mitchell Peach. Kieran Shortland and Jamie Cheetham. They capped Rolls' best performance of the season, which had opened with a strike in the tenth minute from Jeremy Moran. Nathan Lambert also hit a post before Vernon equalised through Sam Withers in the 19th minute. |

| 30/11/02 Toton Tigers V RR Leisure Red-hot Rolls-Royce Under 8s tamed Toton Tigers, to the tune of 6-1 to take three points. Rolls looked strong from the off and Jeremy Moran had three chances, including one that hit a post, before opening the scoring in the 13th minute. Aaron McAleese also went close before excellent footwork by Nathan Lambert set up Jamie Cheetham for goal number two. Two minutes later, Jamie Bakewell pulled one back for Toton but man-of-the-match Mitchell Peach restored the two-goal cushion after a through ball from Lambert. And a grandstand finish resulted in further goals from Peach, Moran and Lambert. |

| 14/12/02 RR Leisure V West Bridgford D Red-hot rolls under 8s demolished West Bridgford D 8-0 to claim their fourth successive win. Rolls dominated from the off and were ahead when Ashley Johnson converted a free-kick after he had been brought down. Kieran Shortland made it two a couple of minutes later and Mitchell Peach, with a superb strike over the keeper's head, and Aaron McAleese added further goals before the interval. The second half opened with Peach netting his second and Jeremy Moran making it six as Rolls continued their best display of the season. McAleese and Jamie Cheetham completed the rout but Dale Hyslop also hit a post and Nathan Lambert took the man-of-the-match award. |

| 11/1/03 RR Leisure V Bingham Whites Rampant Rolls-Royce Leisure Under 8s leapt to joint second in the YE league by thrashing Bingham Whites 7-0 in their first match after a six-week break. Rolls were ahead form the first minute, thanks to Jamie Cheetham, before Aaron McAleese and Mitchell Peach made it three by half-time. Kieran Shortland netted number four, Ashley Johnson also hit the target and scoring was rounded off by two goals in as many minutes from Jeremy Moran and Dale Hyslop. Rolls should have made it eight when they were awarded a penalty for handball. But goalkeeper Glyn White saw his kick saved by his opposite number. Nathan Lambert didn't make the score-sheet either but was given the man-of-the-match award for his all-round effort. |

| 25/1/03 Wollaton Yellow V RR Leisure Despite conceding a rare goal, Rolls Royce Leisure Under 8s picked up a point from a 1-1 draw at Wollaton Yellow. Both sides had chances before Daniel Lever gave the home team a 19th minute lead. But Rolls were determined not to return home empty-handed and took control of the second half. Although keeper Glyn White had to make the save of the day, defenders Jack Walker and man-of-the-match Ashley Johnson were solid. And the equaliser was scored by Kieran Shortland, who finished an excellent run in the 15th minute of the half. |

| 8/2/03 Meadow Colts V RR Leisure A late penalty condemned Rolls Royce Leisure Under 8s to only their second defeat of the season. It was Meadow Colts' second spot-kick of the game. The first a controversial one, had been fired wide but this time, Luke Jeffers found the net to secure a 1-0 victory for the home team. Rolls who were the better side, had a few chances of their own with Nathan Lambert's shot going inches wide and Jamie Cheetham and Kieran Shortland being denied by the keeper. But the man-of-the-match award went to goalkeeper Glyn White for some excellent saves. |

| 22/2/03 RR Leisure V Vernon White New manager Chris Shortland saw Rolls Royce Leisure Under 8s fight back from 2-0 down to beat Vernon Whites 3-2. Goals from Lewis Selby and James Maxwell gave Vernon their two-goal cushion but the turning point of the match was a penalty awarded to Rolls for handball. Up stepped man-of-the-match Jeremy Moran to convert the kick and, before the break, Jack Walker equalised. Rolls chances came thick and fast in the second half with Aaron McAleese and Mitchell Peach hitting a post and although Glyn White had to pull off the save of the day at the other end, Kieran Shortland bagged the deserved winner. |

| 15/3/03 RR Leisure V Clifton White After their 10-0 win the previous week, Rolls Royce Leisure Under 8s were brought back down to earth by a 3-0 defeat against Clifton. Rolls were the better team with chances falling to Nathan Lambert, Mitchell Peach and man-of-the-match Jamie Cheetham and Ashley Johnson and Kieran Shortland also looking good. But two goals from Jan Yeomans and one from Ryan Brown sealed the visitors' victory. |

| 22/3/03 RR Leisure V Toton Tigers Playing flat out in their last home match of the season, Rolls Royce Leisure Under 8s tamed Toton Tigers to the tune of 8-0. The rout started in the first minute thanks to a strike from Jamie Cheetham and then man-of-the-match Jeremy Moran netted three minutes later. Mitchell Peach made it three within minutes of going on as a substitute before an own goal made it four by the interval. A fantastic passing move, involving Moran, Nathan Lambert and Kieran Shortland resulted in the latter opening the second half with a goal. And it wasn't long before Cheetham was manhandled for a penalty that Moran saw saved but followed up on the rebound. Defender Jack Walker moved up front to score number seven before Peach rounded off the goal feast. |
