i was really happy today as i walked to class cause i ran into two friends and they walked me all the way to tolman! it's weird how the little things like that can make people happy - my day was better because of the 10 minutes we spent leisurely walking from sproul to tolman. the best part is this - i know they normally would NEVER walk to tolman unless ABSOLUTELY necessary....haha...thanks guys...i appreciated it =)

i dyed steve's hair blue today. it was pretty funny...see, he thought my hair looked really cool so he kinda played with the idea of dyeing his hair blue too...i really encouraged him to do it so a few hours ago i did it for him. the thing is, i think cause his hair was lighter than mine that the "electric blue" color of the dye really really made his hair look ELECTRIC blue in the light, whereas my hair kinda turned out BLUE. everyone said his hair looked purple and steve kept saying "Oh no! I look so gay!" haha...i feel kinda bad that his hair looks purpleish but i think it's still cute. i think it's wonderful to have funny people in your life...i'm glad that steve is my neighbor and friend cause i've had lots and lots of good times with him....haha...especially the spaghetti incident which we tried to explain to someone today as i was dyeing his hair...then there was that one time when we were studying for music 27 our freshmen year, remember that steve? haha! and we spent like 5 hours in the unit 3 computer lounge and we kinda went crazy talking in our british accents and stuff? and then there was the fake smile contest...haha...or that one time you were the whore princess with the watch on your head!!! haha!!!!! um. okay...tangent. i think i'm just trying to bring up positive memories of steve cause i still feel bad that his hair makes him look possibly homosexual. (keekee)

but anyways, my point today is...thank God for laughter. i love laughing and i love when people are all laughing and i just LOVE it when everyone is laughing and happy together. did you know that they did experiments where people would bite a pencil sideways (NOT like you're eating a hotdog) in their teeth and that they ended up having more positive emotions at the end of the experiment because biting a pencil uses the same muscles as smiling?

do you know someone that can make you laugh silly? that you can always have a fun time with? i mean someone who can make you laugh till your stomach hurts and your mouth gets sore from laughing so hard? if you do, aren't you so happy that they're your friend? silly people are lots of fun too. i'm so lucky to live around lots of people who are really silly and funny...(don't get me wrong - they all have their non-silly and non-funny sides too...but then again, i suppose we all do, huh?)

i'm really happy that laughing exists...it feels so good to laugh and be silly!

=D will ya take a look at this! don't i seem like i'm in a good mood? i promise it has to do with the fact that two good friends walked me to tolman. =D. thanks guys! you know who you are... it only took 10 minutes to seriously alter the mood of my day.  we should all try to start some random act of kindness thing...but i suppose as christian's that's supposed to be sort of the slogan of our lives, huh? but i'm very encouraged to do something nice for someone that i normally wouldn't do just because i would love to make someone happier the way that my two friends did for me today. i'm 100% sure they have no clue that i'm this thankful about it...
