and so the tables turn.
here i am. my FOURTH week of vacation. i try calling people to hang out.
"call me if you do anything!"
"ok, julia!"
and i sit by the phone.....
silence.
and so the tables turn.
alas, the time has come when my friends are busier than i.
i am still plagued with apathy.
i want spontaneity!
i feel like i'm writing a poem.
(i'm sitting here trying to think of what rhymes with poem but now the whole effect is ruined because i'm consciously trying to make it poem-like when the whole point is that i wasn't trying in the beginning)

so. my friend jae kim is in korea and he wants people to email him REALLY BADLY. so if you know him, please email him right now.
but don't tell him i told you to email him. i want him to think that you all remembered and thought of writing him on your own.

so john and i were having a discussion about multi-racial churches. the thing is...i'll probably start going to his church in the next year. i wanted to know if the vision of his church was going towards diversity. he thinks it is but also says that its up to our generation (basically US) to make that change. his church recently took the "korean" out of the title so that it's L.A. open door church or something like that.
it's a long story.
i enjoy our discussions. we discussed music/sports lessons the other day. and its effects on children.
john will probably kill me for this but he got 98% on both of the tests that he needed to take prior to taking his CPA exam. he took it in math and natural science. congratulations john! i knew you could do it!
